281  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There is no ceiling or floor on: September 07, 2020, 12:37:25 AM
But Bitcoin is still here. We really can't force some people to believe on something they don't want to believe or even to understand.
Yup we can't please everyone to invest with bitcoin. Some hate it, some believe it was a scam and some are simply can't grasp the complexity of this technology — that's the hard reality. What I can say is congrats to believers and god bless for the haters. I hope they soon realize what they're missing.

Be like this kid, I admire him for having a business mind. He believe and see the potential of bitcoin despite of his young age. Though he's a little bit aggressive but I guess that's normal for a teenager Cheesy.

282  Economy / Economics / Re: Our chance to reset on: September 06, 2020, 01:10:05 PM
Like what others said, there is no blessing in disguise in this time of pandemic. The only positive thing happened is I think Mother Earth got a chance to heal, that's all. Other than that, everything is a misery. The suffering we all felt is 10x greater than such "blessing". Thus, there's no reason for us to be grateful in the corona virus Undecided.

Anyway, do you really think resetting the economy is good? Well if it is just one click away then why not, I would gladly click the button. But in reality, it's not. Imagine the lives of the poor that are slowly killed by hunger. For me, even those small people don't deserve to die just because of this.
283  Other / Meta / Re: Advertising shiller spotted! on: September 06, 2020, 09:03:19 AM
The coinpedia guy seem to be very persistent and is back again with their usual spam. This time round they are trying to hide in the alternate cryptocurrencies boards.
Nice catch dude Smiley. But you know what, he is quite witty in fairness because he actually participate on the the discussion but sneakily include the link in his post. However, it is still a clear sign of shilling/illegal advertising thus need to be reported. With regards of the ban evading accusation, I'm still not sure of that because I can't see proof (so far) which we can relate to OP's posted profile.

Edit: Done reporting some of his posts.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Really Happening To The Market? on: September 06, 2020, 06:59:23 AM
Crypto is getting harder to predict now
As if it is really easy to predict in the first place lol.
will we see bitcoin under $5k again until the end of the year?
I mean, nothing is impossible tho. These previous days, the market is crashing in a fast rate and it will be bad if the same trend repeats everyday. BUT I think maybe $10k would be a closer point. 5k? Nah, we're already far from hitting that one Smiley *cross fingers.
Was the increase in bitcoin and some altcoins in August just because of the Defi hype?
I don't think so because defi only started to bloom recently. For me the possible reason for the strong tally last August is because of Eth 2.0 hype.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Over 8700 Bitcoin ATMS now Installed Globally on: September 06, 2020, 04:02:44 AM
in asia only a few and not available in my country and if I want to use it have to go to neighboring countries LOL.
That is foolishness going to another country just to use ATM Bitcoin?you can purchase Bitcoin all over the world so you have no need to do that stupidity.
Chill bro, most probably deadmousehat is just joking. See the "LOL"? So don't take it seriously Grin. Maybe he only want to share the feeling of not having a bitcoin atm in his country, that's all.

Nope ATm machine is Physical way of accumulating Bitcoin when there are so many ways now to purchase online,You can even buy p2p using
escrow, since there are some trusted account here that willing to be an escrow without any single fee asked.
You're right but if there is one near your area then why not? Grab the opportunity because using a bitcoin ATM is a wonderful experience for sure (actually I'm dreaming of using it someday). That was a proof of a growing community so cherish it.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Rampant inflation, yet a steady exchange rate. on: September 06, 2020, 12:53:24 AM
This is part of the reason I started accumulating bitcoins, because it is immune to inflation. I just can't buy anything here with it.
Hmm, if you can't buy anything with btc then it means the adoption of such technology on your country is quite low. Therefore, your btc holding will be pointless if you still need to convert it into your currency first. Sad to say but it will still get affected by the inflation.

And even if you found one, I think it will be all the same. You cannot simply give .005 btc for a laptop (just an example) just because you want to. Of course your SEC will make regulations upon it and assign SRP for every product based on its fiat value. It seems that we can't easily escape the inflation Cheesy.
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Legit trading courses on: September 05, 2020, 06:51:38 AM
Mistakes are parts of success even those who are at top right now on the trading world they surely made some mistakes in the past. If you wanted legit trading courses search for legit trading sites or people who teach it, YouTube has a lot of it and it's for free.
Yup! Youtube is the best place for getting the info you need, that's where I mostly rely aside from goggle of course. Though some videos there are not precise or not teaching daytrading from cover to cover (usually the longest video you can find is about 20+ minutes only) but still they were helpful. OP try to study little pieces of it and then relate it to one another, that's my way of researching and it's effective Smiley. And as much as possible, try to find a local youtuber so that there would be no languags barrier thus the tutorial is easier to understand.

You can also try trading simulators which can be found on Play Store.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is predictably a guarantee in an uncertain world on: September 05, 2020, 03:57:47 AM
Bitcoin is suitable for short, medium and long term users. If we take a look at the life of a trader this appreciation is fulfilled. In the midst of the pandemic, Bitcoin showed that it could rise and continue to recover its price in the market with a good forecast. So it is a guarantee in the uncertain future.
It's because crypto sphere cannot correlate directly to the happenings in the world economy. That's why you may noticed that btc keep on soaring despite of the declining economy of nations. They are different fields after all Cheesy.

Anyway, with regards to the second one, for me I'm still not 100% that bitcoin can guarantee your future. Look, it's price is as volatile as hell and you can't assure that it can maintain its stability when the next crisis comes. Take tome to consider the slow adoption and oppositions of it. Don't get me wrong, I love bitcoin but always mind that don't be so complacent because anything could happen
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Recent profitable coins? on: September 05, 2020, 02:06:19 AM
Actually, I am having a doubt on the TWT coin you are pertaining but since it seems you are doing fine with it along with bitcoin then continue. Anyway, I wonder why you are still looking for another coin? Are those coins not enough? Well, I can't blame you if you want to diversify your money so I advice you to invest in more reputable one. Btc is good already (actually the bets choice), no need to change it. I advice you to try Ethereum if you want, it's boomong right now so you can expect profits from it given that you are handling it very well.

Another one is Polkadot. First of all, I'm not sure about this alt but I noticed that  it performs good recently. Just my opinion, better to DYOR. Good luck Smiley.
290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wrong conception on: September 04, 2020, 01:13:23 PM
The post looks quite big and I'm not sure newbies will stick around until the end.
You are right but I think that's not the point. Whether it was novel-like post or a one liner, you will read from start to end if you are really eager to learn. Yeah! I agree that OP's post is a little bit long (maybe that's how he convey ideas) but doing so means tolerating newbies' laziness somehow. If they can't read a few paragraphs then it's not our loss anymore. Persistence is an important part of learning Smiley.

Do cold wallets count? They are offline and you can store your bitcoin there.
No, I think it's the same. Hardware wallets does not contain your bitcoin but your private key. It keeps your private key away from any form of hacking so that you can open your address nice and smooth. (correct me if I'm wrong hehe)
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about the idea of decentralized stablecoin on: September 04, 2020, 10:07:36 AM
I don't know you guys but for me the concept of another stablecoin, whether it is fiat backed or decentralized, will not click to the crowd. Why? Simply because it was a stablecoin, its trend is almost not fluctuating which means you can't create entry/exit points effectively — no profit for you. We all know that we only use such coin as a temporary safe haven for our assets when trading and since most of us already got used to Tether then I think a new one will only got small to no attention at all Cheesy. Thus, will end up as a failure.
292  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to have a Corona virus sub-board? on: September 04, 2020, 05:30:14 AM
First off, |I should apologise for starting this thread.
I don't mind actually. At first, I thought it was more of a sarcastic comment rather than a decent suggestion. That's why I can't understand why other members became serious as well lol. So you really mean it huh? Well, like they said, we don't need one unless Covid will stay on Earth forever Grin *knock on the wood.

(I guess you can close it now before other members got triggered)

@Twentyonepaylots ~ dude fix the bracket on your code.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Next what will happening After money printing on: September 04, 2020, 02:45:47 AM
[snip]
you don't need to consult with money experts to actually understand the mistake of this and the impact could be given by printing money. it's a common sense that it will be a hard inflation. look at how zimbabwe experienced once they printed more money, we don't want to see that again, right.
Yup! Another example is Venezuela. Look on their economy, it's worst. Shifting from inflation to hyperinflation in no time due to increasing the supply of money in circulation. Imagine, in mid January of 2018, the foreign exchange was 250,000 bolivars = 1 US dollar Shocked. Quite shocking, isn't it?

That's why printing more money should be the last resort of every government to ease the crisis or let's say it should not be included actually. It makes the economy worse in the long run.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VPN for cryptocurrencies? on: September 04, 2020, 01:01:07 AM
Yes! The use of VPN can offer you data security and protects you against malicious websites but it doesn't mean that you are already bulletproof. Like on the example you've mentioned, once the exchange you used get hacked you can't do anything about it. It was just a mere misfortune. Securing your connection is a great move but it would be nonsense if you use a scam service in the first place. Thus, only use reputable exchange (e.g. Binance, Coinbase or your local one) to hugely minimize the risk of such errors Smiley.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supreme leader's twitter account hacked - but that's not the main issue! on: September 03, 2020, 01:01:52 PM
Twitter hackers strike again! The twitter account of India's supreme leader Narendra Modi is hacked to seek bitcoin payment. But that's not the main problem! See below,
If I were the supreme leader, I'd rather do a public announcement with regards the hack incident, apologize and then proceed to man hunting. That's it! Because if they will grant the hacker's demands, it definitely shows a sign of weakness of their government against cyber criminals. Besides, it was only a Twitter account, creating another one is not hard at all Grin.
We are loosing reputation fast! Sad to see such an innovation like Bitcoin loosing its reputation and credibility due to few mere miscreants!
Sad but true Undecided. That's why we should also make extra efforts on educating them (clarifying and debunking every hoax) as the fraudsters became active as well. I guess that's the best thing we can do because the criminals seems unstoppable ~ change my mind.
296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ranked up to full member. on: September 03, 2020, 09:30:22 AM
It's been a while to be here in the forum.
An average poster with no knowledge about cryptocurrency
definitely not technically inclined with the technology.
The struggle is real and I envy with the prodigy.
How to do this and do that
probably I need to try a small start,
But it did not work
so I will try to search and comeback.
I really love this stanza because I can relate unto this one. Like you, I also consider myself as a mediocre member — not highly intellectual nor a sh*tposter. I'm just lying in the middle and it's not fine as what other think. You know, the feeling of emptiness and just having a slow progress. But I won't stop, I will continue being humble and offer what I can. Maybe soon I finally get my first 150 merits Cheesy.

Nice poem by the way, the rhyme scheme is simple yet meaningful. Congrats dude and keep up the good work.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who has the eye that looks into the future? on: September 03, 2020, 03:20:46 AM
Few years back, I could remember Cryptocurrency wasn't really known by most people and the idea was joked with, even I myself didn't have a thought on it,
I feel you bro. I already heard this bitcoin thing 2 years before I discovered this forum but I didn't invested due to misconception. I though it was only used for dark web purposes. I should be rich by now after selling few btc on its ATH tsk. I regret so much on that one but fortunately I already moved on Cheesy.
Looking into the future I suggest Cryptocurrency will suspend other past used currencies and take over, what do you think?
We come closer to our dream of crypto revolution yet we're still far from it. I don't want to be pessimistic but I can't foresee when crypto (mainly bitcoin) will dominate the world. Actually, I'm doubting due to the opposition coming from government and those who simply hate it. But let's see, as long as its adoption increases then the chances will not fade away.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto community getting lost again? on: September 03, 2020, 01:27:10 AM
Even I have seen a lot of people on the twitter and in many facebook groups claiming they made a fortune by investing in shitty DeFi projects and are also encouraging other users who aren't even speculators to invest in the little known DeFi projects [...]
Good for you, you are not getting deceived easily pruced by this hype. But for the others, well I guess wr can no longer save them. Some people are hard headed. You know! They continue to invest as long as they can see someone earning and no longer consider the bad reviews. Hmm, I guess we have a no choice but to let them learn the hard way. Let their money lose (I just hope it's not that big) and they surely become wiser afterwards.
Even trading seems better task than investing in these DeFi projects.
For me, it is the best Cheesy.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin on: September 02, 2020, 12:16:12 PM
I checked for existing ones but I missed that, my bad.

Ps: I'll give you a merit for appreciation once I get one.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Pornhub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin on: September 02, 2020, 10:41:01 AM
Warning: Explicit content

I am browsing Reddit a while ago then I suddenly stumbled on a post which quite surprised me. Yup! You read it right. PH adds btc and ltc in their payment options for availing their premium services.

Well, I think I could still consider this as a positive thing because it was an adoption after all. However, we know that there is something wrong and we can't deny it. Honestly, this news makes me a little bit uncomfortable Grin. Your thoughts?
