341  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having loss is part of experience as a Trader on: August 22, 2020, 05:30:37 AM
[snip]
I'm pretty sure you've lost countless times before, but you didn't really take that into heart and suffer from it no?
You know what, you're right! I already lose a lot of money on simple hodling and I somehow become immune of it. So why I get scared of daytrading? Thanks for the relief dude Smiley. Maybe what i'll do when I start is to place an amount close minimum deposit and play it for a month. If I lose then it's fine because it won't hurt my pocket but if it made profit then I double it up on the next deposit. Is that a right move, what do you think?

Also, if you don't mind, may I know what indicator you are using? Because I'm planning to use StockRSI.
342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having loss is part of experience as a Trader on: August 22, 2020, 03:50:06 AM
Your thread scares me bro lol. I'm an aspiring trader as well and currently studying the technicalities of it. But after I read your post, I realized that I'm not yet emotionally prepared for this because it was a different thing compared to long term hodling. Now I can foresee myself panicking due to change of trend every hour *knock on the wood. But well, it is still a long journey for me. I should only take it one step at a time to remove the tension Cheesy.
Then dont trade if you dont want to loss. Thats a part of the life of traders sometimes good and sometimes not. But in every loss they will learn from what mistakes they did during trading.
Just a clarification, losses are absolutely inevitable but losing oftentimes is not healthy either. Minimize your mistakes as much as possible because we are talking about money here. It is precious thus every cent matters.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What tools are not enough for you to interact with cryptocurrency? on: August 22, 2020, 02:06:45 AM
Like other said, I also think of adding price comparisin between exchanges in your project. Though I don't find it necessary since you cannot easily jump from one exchange to another after you saw that the price is cheaper there but still it can help us to become aware of which exchange is better to use for the long run.

And I hope you can also make a mobile version of your work since smartphones are way more portable than other devices. We can be able to use your app even we are out of our home Smiley.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sports Industry taking over the Crypto space on: August 21, 2020, 01:58:01 PM
[snip]
In the current situation, I can say that you are right. You know, sports helps the crypto community grow (contributed sportsbetting) but on the other hand crypto are not helping the sports industry significantly. Well, that's understandable anyways since cryptocurrency are not yet well adopted. It definitely needs more exposure. Nonetheless I do believe that crypto can still open outstanding possibilities. Hmm maybe in the future team companies will use crypto in closing a contract with the players they recruit as their payment option, they may also use it for paying violations or use for financing the needs of their players. Who knows Cheesy?

Just let it mature further and let's see what would happen next.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Our country was called Province of China. on: August 21, 2020, 03:56:16 AM

And why do we need to make negotiations as if that territory is not our very own Roll Eyes? Walang mang aapi kung walang magpapa api. I know that our arsenal are 10x weaker than them but it doesn't necessarily mean that we are now raising the white flag and let this bullying happen over and over again.

We won the arbitration case and that's great! It supposed to work against them but why it seems China are not scared at all? (IMO) It's because the Duterte administration's fang is not sharp ~ change my mind. Instead of giving strong warnings they simply shrugged and convince us that everything was just an accident or unintentional tsk.

Here, look at Presidential Spokesperson's and Manila Mayor's statement regarding the issue and try to compare

See? A simple act of courage means a lot. I hope you now get what I mean.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Our country was called Province of China. on: August 21, 2020, 01:35:18 AM
This post should be a warning to those countries that have debts in China because it could happen to your country as well.
Nah, I don't think so. Only the Philippines is the country China can bully and it's so embarassing. They are disgracing us in our own land without even fighting back and it s*cks! And what I hate the lost is that our government only doing gentle response on all of the issues probably because they don't want a conflict but at what cost? They continue abusing us. Don't get me wrong, I'm not promoting war against them because I don't want it either. Obviously, we're on the losing side. But I just hope we can also do like what Vietnam (take this as reference) did, they stand for their rights and not afraid to resist despite of knowing that they're a third world country as well Sad.
I still believe that we Filipinos can manage to build our economy without relying on others
Hmm actually there's nothing wrong with strengthening our relationship with foreign countries. It's beneficial for both parties because it creates more employment and open trades. It just so happened that our current president pick a a wrong ally Undecided.
347  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE ROAD -BITCOINTALK CHANGED ME- on: August 20, 2020, 09:51:12 PM
I believe they can though I noticed that most of them are impatient. Especially for those who are already well-rounded with crypto before they created their account or at least a fast learner like you.

Anyway, you are now almost a Senior Member, and take note, within a year only (I'm pretty sure you will get the remaining 9 merits in no time) Shocked. That was very impressive. I wish you a more productive and happier journey here and hoping for more shared knowledge to come to help our co-members.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: Fixed amount vs. infinite coins on: August 20, 2020, 09:40:00 AM
[snip]
Actually, the speed is not the problem. Everyone can cope with it. Besides, Lightning Network is present which could fix the problem Smiley.

I think the main problem why bitcoin is still far away from the mainstream is because of technological illiteracy. Huge portion of our population are still mot aware about this so educating others would be very important factor to consider. Another reason is that people are into fiat, they feel contented with it already thus refuse to explore other means. Nonetheless, our community keeps on growing little by little and that's good.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fueling to launch to the moon anytime soon. on: August 20, 2020, 06:41:17 AM
@Eureka_07 ~ Done reporting.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fueling to launch to the moon anytime soon. on: August 20, 2020, 06:34:34 AM
In my opinion, reaching $20k this year would be a little bit too far. I'm not saying impossible knowing the fact that all prices are soaring high recently, I'm only worrying that btc won't make it within a short period of time. Imagine, btc dropped by around 3% yesterday AFAIR and continues. It will have a hard time to get its momentum once again. Remember that we are now heading to last quarter of 2020 so better to expect less Wink.
351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting scared is useful! on: August 20, 2020, 04:30:10 AM

Indeed. As you mature, you will realize that staying on your comfort zone forever is not healthy. You know, the feeling of emptiness because you already mastered the thing that you do. It no longer brings fun since you feel that it became just like a routine for you. So we ought to step up and explore the vast sea of knowledge.

If mankind is advancing naturally over hundreds of centuries then so do you Cheesy. That's what I realized as I grow older. I realized that being an engineer alone is not enough. I want to become a succesful crypto investor too (a farmer as well). The concept of cryptocurrency really amazed me since day one that's why I'm eager to learn about it until now. Though I already lost hundreds of dollars in here, I'm not totally bothered because I understand that failure is part of of the process and not the opposite of success. I know all the sacrifices will be worth it someday Smiley.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Are You Next 5 Years? on: August 20, 2020, 02:20:12 AM
Hmm, I don't exactly know but I can foresee that I will finally be able to become a daytrader before that year comes. Actually, I'm now starting to make a research on what exhange is the best and how to use indicators and everything. It's just so happened that I don't have a decent job yet so I can't provide a capital for my journey (covid s*cks).

@OP ~ Can you please edit your post. Putting colors on every sentence is unnecessary especially knowing that they are not website links. Just a friendly reminder Smiley.
353  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be carefull Newbies! Fake exchange promocodes scams on: August 19, 2020, 09:37:59 AM
Nice catch dude! I'm glad you fastly realized that there is something wrong. If you want free sats then stay away from referrals because there is an easier way — faucets. However, I'm not saying that it will be profitable for you either but legit to be at least Cheesy. (but seriously, don't try faucets)

I've been contacted by someone and he asked me to help him withdraw about 0.2 BTC from an investment site, but at the end of the conversation he finally wanted to borrow money from me around 0.02 BTC to unlock his account and he could take the money, I told you to him that it is a scam site, because there would be no site that would like to just share free bitcoins, he didn't contact me anymore, hoping he kept listening to me about the site, I also hope that no more beginners will be deceived by a site like this
That stranger contacted you out of nowhere and borrow .02 btc without even offering a collateral. Bro, you are the one who supposed to be his victim. Haven't you noticed that?
354  Economy / Economics / Re: how in the world is btc at $12.303,28? on: August 19, 2020, 03:22:38 AM
Well if you guys say  bitcoin is a "investment" good luck with it...i am out of btc world ...as bitcoin is no longer a currency .

It's a currency for me  you just did not stumble or look for enough marketplace companies that accepts Cryptocurrrency and we are only at $12 k and yet you are already saying good bye
I can't blame OP if he is upset with the current path btc walking through. I admit that as time goes by it becomes more of a money than a currency. I'm not saying I hate it either, actually it's fine with me because I'm able to make profits. Hmm, I'm just wondering why seems OP doesn't learned to enjoy such opportunity.

But if you would imagine, btc's vision of cashless P2P transaction doesn't vanished, the progress is just slow since the majority are too focused harnessing its store of value feature. Nonetheless, it was there. Though few, you can still find stores and services that accept btc payments. Everyone should only be courageous to establish their own or at least find one nearby Smiley.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you could hard fork Bitcoin right now, what changes would you make? on: August 19, 2020, 01:34:01 AM
the change I would do is to make it unforkable! Grin
I like your suggestion! We no longer need to create more hardforks because couple of it are already existing and it is enough. Besides, it might become a strong competitor of btc in the future. We don't want to see the pioneer not lying on the top, right?

Don't get me wrong, tx fees and other lack of features of bitcoin s*cks. But at the end of the day, it's mother of all crypto which I get used to Cheesy. Among the coins in the market, my biggest respect is into it.

I would only improve it's fungibility which would make it an even better form of money than it currently is.
Bitcoin bought here in my country can be interchange with the bitcoin bought there in yours because they are identical and both part of the whole 21 million supply. Hmm, what do you mean exactly of the word "fungibility"?
356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is merit and why do some people have up to thousands? on: August 18, 2020, 10:54:54 PM
You are granted merit from other members when creating content or a useful response to topics, and this merit helps you develop your account in the forum
@OP ~ Yup! But chill, don't stress yourself out (unless you're now hungry for csmpaigns) Grin. Don't get intimidated or jealous if you only got 2 and others have thoudands of merit. It doesn't justify that you're not productive here, the fact that you are slowly getting one by one already means a lot. I know that there's nothing wrong of developing your account here but seeking for self-improvement should be on the top of your priorities. Just continue learning  and good luck!
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 18, 2020, 09:47:43 AM
I'm having the same sentiment that's why I find new projects not efficient place for investing. No offense to bounty hunters or avid alt investors (only those love catching new tokens) out here, I noticed that complaints raised are greater than appreciation. See? Do you think risking on something new is really worth of our time instead of choosing the proven and tested ones? I know that crypto in general could be a poison for all of us but make sure to pick the one which let's you survive Cheesy.
358  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk posting etiquette on: August 18, 2020, 06:04:31 AM
It is unnecessary to try make expansion for your replies. If you can answer with 10 words, that is the best. It's a waste of time to expand it to 100 words (also boring, and annyoing).
I'm not trying to impress anyone anyway, so why would I? Second, I don't have any intentions of expanding my posts every time I write. I only express what I think and it so happened that they're long. If my way of writing offends you, my apologies.

To help readers understand who is the user you want to discuss with, use the horizontal line with hr to seperate between each user.
Oh yes! I use it also when I open a new idea relevant to the topic Smiley.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone waiting for v2.0 but... on: August 18, 2020, 02:57:28 AM
How is it delayed? Do they gave an exact schedule to launch the ETH 2.0 ?

I think what I read is that it will be launch this year but they are not giving a specific date, so if its delayed, what's the new schedule?

Ps. I'd appreciate if you put some source of the information you shared.
I found the info on cointelegraph news
Here's the link: https://cointelegraph.com/news/mew-founder-the-full-reality-of-eth-20-is-still-years-away. Based on Kosala Hemachandra, MEW's founder, the full version of Eth 2.0 will be at least couple of years away.

Well, this is really not a good news for all of us Sad. I'm worried that the current hype might lose eventually and go back again in the slow pace. But I hope not because the momentum will get wasted. Much better to celebrate Christmas with a bullish run, isn't it?
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin & altcoins? on: August 17, 2020, 12:32:50 PM
I am one of those people who said that the time for altcoins has not come yet, but now I have changed my mind and are looking for coins that have not yet increased in price very much. there are many such projects and now you can make good money
Considering the risks, I would rather stick to the already established coins, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, BCH and Litecoin.
Indeed, better to buy old reputable alt coins rather than new enlisted ones because they are the one which will get benefited by the hype. They are already mature thus they can easily get influenced by the price hike of btc and other major coins. But if you really insist to go with the cheaper ones then it's up to you (you have hundreds of options to choose from). But assess your your resources and emotion first whether you can gamble and get out of the safer zone. Like the old saying, "High risk, high reward" but I'll tell you what, in this case, you will have greater chance of losing. Good luck Smiley.
