41  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GAMBLING] PBA Discussion and Crypto-Sportsbetting on: December 09, 2020, 11:21:06 AM
Third quarter starts now.

Though pareho silang nagi struggle na makapoints, masasani mong lamang pa rin ang Ginebra bacause they are playing with no pressure unlike the opposing team. Well, maaga pa naman. Let's see kung tama nga ako Grin.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: December 09, 2020, 06:43:11 AM
Not only does fiat money represent the value of each nation, but it also represents political power in countries. If fiat money were meaningless, then there would be no differentiation between currencies across countries. All have its reasons.
Exactly! It already came from your own words, money represents political power of countries and for me it is not good. Do you really like the concept of superior countries over the inferior countries? Because for me I hate it that much. In nature, people wants to dominate. Thus, people on top tend to discriminate or take advantage of the people below them. This will result to unfairness and injustice. Maybe you are saying this because you are living in a rich country but try to out your feet on the less fortunate shoes. What if you belong on the other side? I'm pretty sure you will demand as well.

Everyone deserves a good quality of life. So even imposible, I wish that our world will have a universal currency because it might be the way for all of us, humans, to unite together and live in harmony Smiley. (Who knows?)
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin retirement account on: December 09, 2020, 02:19:00 AM
But I have one question, what's about all other alts?
I think we can trust other coins and tokens! There're many of them, it's true, but I believe there are gems among them! Simply crypto is growing, and even Bitcoin is a leading force I can't underestimate some alts!
Yeah! I will not be biased here and just simply discount what alts can do. The reputation of alts are tarnished because of the bad projects in the past but we can admit that there are really good and profitable ones existing among them. Just br careful on choosing because no one knows if you are already holding a sh*tcoin or not. So my advice is to hold reputable ones such as xrp, doge, ltc, eth, monero and other top tier coins. Don't out all your hopes in upcoming "promising" coins. Do not experiment this time because you are putting your future at risk.

But in my opinion, playing safe is the best option. So if ever I will make my own retirement plan, I will definitely choose btc all the way because that's the coin fall last if ever things don't go well Tongue.
44  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giving merit to newbies for good replies on: December 08, 2020, 11:40:04 AM
Props for the initiative and concern you show on the newbies especially from a member with tons of smerits. I don't want to get the spotlight from you OP but I just want you to know that I'm in Cheesy. I will also give my single last smerit to a deserving newbie who will post here.

My criteria? Hmm, nothing. As long as you are polite and I can feel that you are sincere to help then you can have my smerit. I want to show you guys that you don't necessarily need to be technical all the time if you want to get one. Having a good heart is enough for me.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Austrian School of Economics and Crypto on: December 08, 2020, 05:43:22 AM
First of all, I want to show my amazement because Austria got a School of Economics and Cryptocurrency . What a big word! It gives me an obvious sign that such country fully embraced the new tech already. I am jealous on how their government welcome cryptocurrency. I hope all countries will follow them in the near future.

Anyway, I like the concept of adding topics about crypto in the curriculum of younger generations today. Here in our country, we finally adapted the K-12 program which most countries along the SEA region implemented before already. This helps the younger students to cover now what they will study in college. Thus they can have plenty of time to choose a specialty (cryptocurrency in this case) when they already reach collegiate level. Nice Smiley.
46  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto Valley of Asia Itinatayo sa Pilipinas on: December 07, 2020, 10:43:28 PM
[snip]

But you know what, for the sake of others, I'll be willing to experience such hassles.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pizza Hut accepts bitcoin on: December 07, 2020, 04:41:42 AM
Another huge and famous company adopted blockchain technology in their business. Nice, what a great news! It feels good to know that more and more people are getting into it. It makes our community grows bigger and bigger one step at a time. I know Pizza Hut's influence is very small compared to the rest of industries but still it helps us to spread the word for those who are not yet aware of cryptocurrency. So let's appreciate it.

I just feel a little bit disappointed because they only implemented it on their branches in South America. I'm hoping that they will do the same thing here in Asia soon. Even though I'm not a fan of pizza, I would definitely go to their pizza parlor more often just to experience paying bitcoins in real time Cheesy.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 07, 2020, 12:25:45 AM
Okay, let's assume that Parks will finally be able to return in Game 5, but how about Castro? We all know that he hurt his own left leg badly yesterday. So I think he will not be present on their last chance to stop GSM on taking the crown. But if they are both luck to make it then we can't still say that they can play on their 100%. Thus, I consider TNT still on the verge of losing.
I'm not saying Castro is bad, maybe we are already saying the sign that he is already aging.
Yeah and I hate to admit it. The once Best Point Guard in Asia is now slowly going away from its prime — the Blur now becomes clearer and predictable Sad. Nonetheless, big respect for him. I wish him more years of playing and good health as always.
49  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Philippine central bank embraces digital tokens on: December 06, 2020, 10:53:31 AM
The fact that they are showing willingness to know crypto's feasibility here our country already means a lot for me Smiley. Naaappreciate ko yun sobra dahil alam natin na ang bitcoin or all of crypto in general ay hindi welcome sa maraming bansa. So kung anu't ano man ang maging decision nila in the future, okay na sa akin. Matatanggap ko ng maluwag sa dibdib coz I know that our government tried to be at least.

But I can feel na maisasakatuparan to. Creating a stablecoin is very beneficial.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: December 06, 2020, 05:24:37 AM
By the rate of our progress, I think this will happen but in late-late future as cryptocurrency is not that known, and if you would take the percentage of people knowing crypto, it would just likely range to >0.1% of the entire population. Yes, people talk about crypto in this forum but this number of people is very small compare to the whole average number of person living in this planet currently.
Hmm, I guess .1% or lower of world's total population is too small. I mean we now got more adoptions through the years that passed. Many people heard the about this new tech and tried it by themselves.Based on this website, it tells us that the total number of blockchain wallet existing as of Dec 3,2020 is 60,632,596. Yeah! I know that maybe some of them got foh le accounts and some of them aren't active anymore for certain reasons but the point is they still knew about it. As of 2019, we are already 7.7 billion in this planet which means that people who knew bitcoin alone are .007% not yet including the alt users, the family of that users who are a little bit aware what is crypto all about, the curious ones and even the random people walking on the street and see posters/signs about crypto.

My point is that we are now more than .1%. That's what I believe at least Cheesy.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: December 06, 2020, 02:39:16 AM
The supporting bout has started, and as expected, it was very quick with knock downs and knock outs being scored. Danny Garcia call this fight for his legacy, while Spence said we are going to see the same Spence.

And I think the boxing media is still in the middle in their prediction in this fight. Some of them are giving Danny Garcia a fighting chance to win because of his power in those hands. Both fighters are still in their prime, so it will be a very good fight.

They are hyping this winning chances for Garcia to entice fans supporting him.

We can't tell the advanatages as both fighters are willing to take this one if given a chance to win, you need to assess the fight very
well before placing your bet. Tough to call it but bookies always base the odd with how gamblers place their bets,. Good luck everyone.
Yeah it was really a tough decision to be made because it was given that they are both great fighters of their own generation. However, there is really a strong gut feeling inside of me saying that Spence will win this one. I don't know, I can't even support my intuition with valid reasons. So yeah! I might go with Errol but I will still watch their journey until they meet on the ring. Maybe I will change my mind, who knows Grin?
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins I have in my wallets on: December 05, 2020, 03:00:05 PM
80% of my nvestments are on altcoins.

i have xtz avax link xrp and bnb and %10 shitcoins
Then what is the remaining 10% of your investments? Bitcoin? Just asking.

Anyway, in all fairness, I might say that you got a good choice of coins.
> Xrp is definitely a good coin. It pumps so hard lately. I actually remember the one which my friend told me yesterday. He heard that there is someone who earn tons of profits from his xrp holdings (around P300,000 or $6.2k+). That was already a huge amount of money for me Shocked.
> Link and BNB are good choices as well since they belong on the top tier.
> Avax, hmm this new coin gets a lot of attention so maybe it will boom in the future.
> Xtz? I honestly don't know this one. So I hope you made a strong research before going with it.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3 Merits for 3 Newbies. on: December 05, 2020, 11:52:29 AM
What a great concern showing from yours, I deeply appreciate it. Imagine, you're just a newbie but shows eagerness to be part of Merit System's implementation. Nice one Smiley!

But here's is my advance, instead of choosing from pile of applications posted here. Why don't you choose it for yourself. To minimize the range of population, start with the Local Board where you belongs first. And then when you get more merits along the way then try finding someone deserving outside. Good luck and God bless.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on Jan 30, 2021 on: December 04, 2020, 05:24:39 AM
I admit that Povetkin just survived in their first fight because it was clear that he is a little bit dominated on the early rounds until he threw the knockout punch which makes Whyte hit the canvass. Don't get me wrong, iIm not saying that he was lucky. I actually admire him for having a strong chin and body to sustain such devastating punches. It was a clear victory after all.

So this time that Whyte made a fearless statement against him with regards their rematch, hmm I will not buy it. You know, "Doin not chewin" Undecided. I will not believe him unless he prove it right. Therefore, I believe that Povetkin will win once again. He was just underrated and cocky fighters are going nowhere.
55  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ATH na ba? on: December 03, 2020, 12:42:28 PM
sa tingin ko hindi pa tayo ath
Hindi pa talaga dude, Bitcoin's price is just currently $19.3k+ at this moment base on Coinmarketcap. But the good thing here is that we are few hundred bucks away na lang to the new ATH plus mahaba haba pa ang tatahakin ng Disyembre so mataas talaga ang chance na mabeat ito ngayong taon.

So kung medyo nakukulangan pa ang iba sa inyo then hintay pa, wala namang masama as long as bantay mo ang kilos ni btc. Pero if you want to play safe then you can exit the market now because the gap from the past and current price is not that too big. Open the bottle of champagne and enjoy Cheesy.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 02, 2020, 12:45:19 PM
Nice try Enciso, nice try Grin. Congrats once again to GSM. They really got the never say die attitude. I thought it was already an admissible match on the side of Kabaranggay but they still able to bounce back and win. If you may noticed, the history repeats itself. Thompson made the outstanding 3 point shot (this time, on the other corner) and Castro missed their crucial shot lol.

But in all fairness, TNT really did a great job. It just so happened that GSM was full of luck tonight. They should keep Parks resting if they want greater chances of winning jk.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: December 02, 2020, 04:41:33 AM
Please, for the sake of everyone's peace of mind and yours too, do not overthink. We are now very near at the end of this miserable 2020 so left all the negativities we experienced this year and start 2021 with a smile and hope in your heart Smiley. That's the best thing I can advice to you.

Yeah! Pandemic as well as calamities made the price of everything especially food and other perishable goods go high but I think we are still far from inflation at least in our countrie's current situation. Our government can still handle the pressure and not even thinking of printing more money. Thus, I still consider our life way more comfortable compare to those poorer ones.

I am glad that good news are sprouting now. A recent study published by the OCTA Research that the number of covid cases per day here are getting lower. That's why the IATF is now giving more freedom to the public while continue imposing strict health and safety protocols. I also heard on the news that Great Britain also got their own version of vaccine. See? In the pile of problems our Earth have right now, there are still good portions in there. What a reason to feel blessed Smiley! Try to appreciate the small blessings around you. It is all about the right mindset dude, make optimism your lifestyle habit.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: December 02, 2020, 01:25:13 AM
Dude don't worry, you are not alone Grin. I'm pretty sure that most of us here are feeling like the way you do and as well as struggling on finding someone who can relate to unto us. But may I know first, on what country do you reside? I ask because maybe the crypto adoption there is wider and it just so happened that you are unfortunate to meet people having the same interest. Try to roam further. But well, if you came from a third world country like me then I can't blame you lol. It's really rare to find a fellow crypto enthusiast. And in my perspective, the reason behind all of this are the cause and effects of poverty. Our government tend to give more focus first on giving solutions regarding corruption, crimes, food shortages, transportation problems. Digitalisation/Modernization is the least priority.
59  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bounty Hunter/Sig Participant ka ba? Read This. on: December 01, 2020, 10:17:06 AM
Oh my God! I know na wala kang pinapatamaan dito sa thread mo cabalism13 pero siguro naman alam ng lahat kung sino tinutukoy mo. I can't also believe na gagawin niya yun, he is one of the most reputable Filipino members of this forum. He is good and kind until that accusation raised. Hindi lang ako makapaniwala talaga, I mean .2+ btc is not worthy in exchange of your soul. It will take him short period of time only since high ranked member naman siya — what an unwise choice.

The fact that the huge mistake you've done haunts you for the rest of your life is sooo terrible already. God bless him na lang.

Here's my what if: What if may alt account pala siyang Legendary din kaya okay lang sa kanya na idump yung "asu" kapalit ang malaking pera? I'm not a conspiracy theorist but it makes sense, isn't it?
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: Income from Bitcoin investment on: November 30, 2020, 11:52:53 PM
if you want to get profit from
Bitcoin quickly you can try day trading. But the risk of day trading is much greater because it requires a large amount of capital
and requires good market analysis skills to be successful.
@OP ~ But if you want a faster way of earning then try gambling. Though it was a lot riskier among the other means, you can still earn decent amount of btc by doing so as long as you will analyze carefully every bet you place Cheesy. This field is a mixed of luck and skill so I think you can handle this. If you are not well rounded yet with the games then don't worry. I advice you to try sportsbetting first. It's not that hard as it seems (unless you are not interested in sports at all), the main challenge here is picking the strongest/best team you think of and weigh its odds based on other external factors. That's it! Good luck to you.
