pretty nice volume on the exchange what is the next step on the roadmap?

Ooooh boy, i've been waiting for this! It's very easy to make enemies but as you are part of Bismuth's dev team, let's get the party started. You are lucky, i've been following your project since the beginning. Where was Bismuth 2 months after launch? You were here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1896497.580No pool, lack of solo mining documentation, you mined the hell out of it for 2 months. When was Bismuth stable?Hard fork after hard fork, it's been months. Where is the fail? The fail was Bismuth's GPU miner that worked over one month before it was released to the public and you were all calling it optimized CPU miner. Not to mention that europool's mining pool was down every day and payments were made once a day ( if they were made ) The main difference between Arionum and your coin is TRANSPARENCY! You can see things as they are, you can use clouds to mine if you afford. This coin has no premine and is way ahead of you within 2 months. I call your reaction FUD as you are threatened by a better coin!

someone created a miner using gpus, not even worth cpu mining now honestly. it was a good month tho.
Still no evidence. There will be little evidence, since the guys running gpu miner simply want to make coin, not release it free with a small dev fee... I cannot "state" or "prove" one exists, but if you google back 2-3 years ago, there were several gpu miners for all versions of argon2, they were never released in the wild that was all. They were being developed to crack passwords and at the time, the scaling was only about 2x, Hi-end gpu vs Hi consumer cpu, but with the massive improvements in gpu tech, esp ram size, i'm pretty sure a gpu miner could be built to give at least 5x scaling. (if not 10x). If it's not a gpu miner then it's one heck of a cpu farm, but what with "hiive" now being implemented on "Yahoo pages" i'm sure someone can hack together a "hidden" miner for argon2, or stealing ones workplace pc's overnight....seems nothing is safe any more. (It could be AWS, but who would spend that kind of money on a coin with no proven track record or value) I had high hopes for this coin, but for me personally whatever is causing the large disparity in mining is irreleveant, same net result....not a coin for small miners...hopefully one day someone will manage to produce a "fairer" way to mine a coin. J There is absolutely no proof that a GPU miner would exist, all you talk doesn't make any sense. If a GPU miner would exist, it would own the network. Now, the most powerful miner has around 20% and he is most likely using aws or google cloud as the devs said. I don't see it as a bad thing that people use clouds to mine Arionum, it means that they trust that this coin will succeed. Looking at your posts, all you do is complain and spread uncertainty about this project since weeks ago. This is one of the cleanest coins that i have ever mined.

Please provide your mining address.

Considering this, and the fact that there are some shares in the pool, the mining seems to work fine, now. Hey dev, I guess my miner is running on adress: Tp2ow3iWTdiifGZX1XczrT5cvrXpgMBqcvkmXVXsLzh6EycFYKNSNx8MumjUYVtTtZzW2DBTenUFFnk 4svj45yA Only there is a but, i see: MIN DL: 50000 --> Hash rate: (my hashspeeD) --> Updating mining info And again MIN DL etc etc, shouldn't i get a CONFIRM or ACCEPTED message when i get a share? I dont know if i'm mining now, and if i get shares. On the aropool beta site i cant find my adress (mining since approx 5-10 minutes now) Edit: i closed the miner and started again, now i get 1 share in a few seconds, after that (again like 10 minutes) nothing. I guess i dont need to restart the miner every few seconds to get a share? xd I get the shares after "submitting nonce ..../....". My hashrate is around 30H/s. I think you just need some time. Well my hashrate is a lil higher then yours, i just wake up (9 hours later or something) and i got nothing. So i wasted my cpu this night for nothing Mining works fine for me and my friends. What is your address? Hey! My address is: Tp2ow3iWTdiifGZX1XczrT5cvrXpgMBqcvkmXVXsLzh6EycFYKNSNx8MumjUYVtTtZzW2DBTenUFFnk 4svj45yA Get no accepted/confirmed shares, just nothing. (i did get 1 last night, since then nothing anymore). Testing this coin with an i7 2600 @ ~35H/s Edit: i only see this Min DL: 50000 --> Hash rate: 36.73829924572 H/s --> Updating mining info Min DL: 50000 --> Hash rate: 33.427423385886 H/s --> Updating mining info Min DL: 50000 --> Hash rate: 35.639074991992 H/s --> Updating mining info Min DL: 50000 --> Hash rate: 37.492175692581 H/s --> Updating mining info Min DL: 50000 --> Hash rate: 35.936199929252 H/s --> Updating mining info Min DL: 50000 Using the ''original'' pool, yesterday after i got 1 confirmed i could check my wallet adress on the poolsite, now nothing. My balance in wallet is also 0 Also rebooted my system again (1 hour ago), but still nothing. Looks like a local issue with your computer. Just yesterday there was a guy with Bitdefender having the same problem, try to disable the antivirus for now and search for your address on the pool in 10 minutes.

The hash rate is self reported and that's why the total number is so high Check the shares as that's all that matter. Devs are really struggling to make everything work perfectly, that reported hash rate is just a small issue. NOTE that this coin is 3 weeks old and already has a LINUX/WINDOWS miner, GUI Windows wallet and a pool. Also, it is developed from zero.

|

how should i open this wallet or its not for windows?
It seems like the wallet is for Linux and GUI wallet will be launched at some point as it's listed on the roadmap.

Very interesting coin, i like the transparency and especially NO PREMINE! I wiill keep an eye on this.

pool.bismuth.online doesn't seem to work well, avoid it for now until they fix their issues
what issues? pool.bismuth.online works fine and it's uptime is much better than acc-pool 2 blocks mined in 1 day with 160mh doesnt seem to work well. What is the total network hash rate?
|
|
|
bismuth.acc-pool.pw seems to be working better, even if it crashes sometimes

I have just created a wallet and it is 600 minutes behind since a few hours ago, is it normal?

If you check the history, we got back stronger after such issues. The most important things that we should all remember are. - DON'T PANIC and DON'T SELL(now )

The easiest way is to mine with GPU as you will find the most information related to it with a simple search on Google. You would have to build a rig and decide what coin you want to mine. For the moment, most of people are choosing between ETH and ZCASH.
