1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk predicts X will replace banks in 2024 - The Verge on: December 06, 2023, 11:56:28 PM
I am not doubting what Elon Musk can accomplish in the financial sector because he created paypal but i am rather curious with the way how he is going to implement them in X and how he is going to overcome the legal obstacles he might be facing to obtain the licenses on a global scale if its another altcoin.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Breaking the Internet Again! on: November 22, 2023, 11:16:46 PM

I'm just curious, what do you think about this? Do you think Pyth will follow the same trend as Bonk, or will this hype only bring volatility that could potentially wipe out users' assets? Also, which mentioned exchange do you believe will efficiently list Pyth earlier than the rest?
My only query will be whether Solana network will be able to handle the traffic if the meme coin gets the traction it is expected to get knowing they had issues with their network in the past. The coin already rallied a lot and there is a lot of hype behind the token considering how the other meme coins performed and will see how it will hold once it gets listed in binance.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: November 15, 2023, 11:01:25 PM
Are we "let me get some bitcoins so I can gamble with it" kind of people or not? That plays a big role to be fair. There are some people out there who do not want to invest into bitcoin, but they do buy bitcoin or get bitcoin because they want to gamble with it, like some sort of casino chip for them, but they do get into bitcoin because of it in the end. If we calculate them as bitcoin investors then I would say that there are a lot of people who are both bitcoin investors and also gamblers. However, if we do not consider them as investors, I would be able to say that they are not really that weird, and looks like it is going to end up with something that could change it long term.

Hopefully they could end up with something that should be changing in the end. Lets hope that we could end up with something that would be a bigger change, and should not really be cared about in the end, I personally believe the best would be to just ignore these, and let investors be investors and gamblers be gamblers and not really care who is who.
There is no point in differentiating users, if everyone starts to purchase bitcoin and HODL for the Nth time then there wont be any transaction and it would eventually die off.

What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.
It is possible that most of the gamblers are not bitcoin investors but one thing that is certain is that anyone who started early in bitcoin was a gambler in the sense they would take the risk and majority of the bitcoin users that i know are active into gambling

Dillon Danis is back at it today shamelessly tweeting at Dana White to try and get a fight lined up for him in the UFC to get himself another payday. Sadly, because of his lawsuit with Nina Agdal he’s probably going to have to find himself some more fights somehow. Otherwise he’s going to end up bankrupt after all is said and done.
Other than being the training partner of Conor McGregor what has Dillon Danis done with his career to make any money. He fought in Bellator in some under card against unknown fighters and that will not help in making money and the only fight he was able to make any money was from the recent event and with his skill level in any form of fighting there is no way Dana White will give him a shot.

~
Did Adesanya really say himself he won't be fighting for a long time? I can't find anything like that in any news feed.
He's 34 and not getting any younger. Taking a long break would probably not do him much good. But it's his decision to make.

Yes he said he is going to take a long break from fighting, he was active as a champion and he has two loses in 3 fights and that might have motivated him to take a break from fighting, Adesanya announced this through his twitter page

After North Macedonia knocked Italy out of the World Cup qualifiers and drew the first game with Italy in this qualifier, I would say that the first decisive game will be with North Macedonia  Grin
After winning the last European Championship, things are not great for Italy, failing to get a spot in the World cup even though they are the European champions were a disgrace.

There is change in coach as Luciano Spalletti is appointed the new coach and it is a lot of pressure for him to deliver against North Macedonia who were instrumental in knocking Italy out from the world cup.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul Vs Dillon Dannis and KSI vs Tommy Fury Today! Oct 14th on: October 17, 2023, 07:59:33 PM

Dannis trainer is Connor that probably leads him to this kind of arrangement for easy money. This kind of matches is already a trend. I wonder how this shit show still gets so much of support despite the poor performance in terms of boxing skills. The twitter barking is much more entertaining to watch rather than the real fight.
Dillon Dannis is all talk and no substance, he is a twitter warrior who brags but he does not even know how to throw a punch and he got the opportunity to fight because of his online antics and with the snoozer of a performance that is probably the end of his mismatch career.

Dannis was the BJJ instructor to Conor McGregor and we all know his skill level on the ground Cheesy.

As long as people are willing to purchase these insane fights, they will keep on putting up these unskilled boxing in the name of entertainment .

Binance was giving away Lamborghini? Lol I didn't know that. Those marketing "techniques" are usually reserved for the worst possible ponzi scams.
The first year they launched they wanted to attract users and they announced to gave away a 2018 Lamborghini Huracan RWD Coupe but have no idea whether anyone won the Lambo as i could not find that announcement from them regarding the winners.

Here is the announcement from Binance regarding the Lambo giveaway Lamborghini Giveaway

So another one bites the dust.

^^^^ If the injury is true, he will have an excuse if he fails to win the rematch Wink .

I feel like Izzy will win. He showed up with a dog collar, did you see that? I think he took it on another level when he said: I’m a dog, it’s a dog collar and I’m about to be unleashed. Izzy had much greater fights, taughter opponents, gained more experience. Also, I think there is too much pressure on Izzy right now, he has no other option but to win. He already exaggerated this pressure when he came with Dog Collar. If he loses, then Alex's fans will call him a puppy dog. I can't imagine how extremely he will be bullied if he loses this fight because he associated himself with dog that wears a collar. He has no other way but just to win, he cut every other way!
Izzy is imitating a fictional character with the dog collar from the movie Unleashed where Jet Li plays a character that is held back with a dog collar and he will only start fighting when he is unlocked from the collar. So i would not say that it is a serious level of thinking as he is pretending to be a fictional movie character  Cheesy.

It's funny that someone from the UFC goes to Boxing instead of retiring, I wonder why these guys who make a lot of money and keep getting hurt for years still want to keep fighting, they even created exhibition fights to keep fighting even when they're done. they are old
MMA is taxing to your body and age will catch up to combine all the techniques while boxing is sweet science, no kicks, no wrestling and for an experience MMA fighter, it is much less taxing for their body and overall they are all competitors and earn their living sacrificing their body and hence some of the fighters are returning even after well past their fighting days.

Some big news today with the UFC merging with WWE.  WWE (formerly WWF) was awesome back in the day, of course now that I'm older I've outgrown it a bit, but they just don't have the wrestlers like they once did..so this is probably a good thing for both the UFC and WWE.
Are they merging or the company that purchased UFC (Endeavor ) is purchasing WWE but they will be in the background and things will continue like usual. Vince will carry on with the creative role
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 02, 2023, 11:03:14 PM
Psg lost 1-0 against Lyon. PSG had more possession and more chances in the match. Psg didn't play badly but they couldn't take advantage of the positions they found. After 4 weeks unbeaten, I must say that they had a hard time against Lyon. With this point loss, the difference between Lens and Marseille remains at 6 points. The race for the championship is likely to heat up even more from now on. PSG have 2 more difficult matches ahead of them. Let's see how they will do in those matches.
What is the point of all the ball possession if they cannot coordinate as a team and score a goal even with all the chances they got, the score card would have been different as Lyon missed some chances by hitting the post and they missed a penalty. The defense is terrible and their lineup should be shuffled and it is necessary to make some rapid changes in the next match as this is their second consecutive home defeat.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba Inu still worth it? on: March 31, 2023, 11:59:27 PM

trend has switched over to L2 of ethereum, it's no more meme coin and meme coin in general are rarely having rally anyway. so I think it's can be said that these meme coins are done for, in term of having some massive rally. none one care about meme coin any more, utility are now essential that's the reason L2 become so popular.
Shiba Inu a coin with the total supply of tokens about 1 quadrillion is not a meme coin because they switched over to L2 of ETH, even if it is mounted on top of Bitcoin protocol, it is still a meme coin with the number of coins in circulation  Tongue.

I am not claiming that it wont rally, it has some big backers and it might rally though, but it is still a meme coin.

And also one of the curses of getting old, your friends die.
Lost a friend a few days back due to heart attack, he was just 40 and no wises of smoking or drinking, only speculate about the vaccine that might be the only reason and not of old age.

Not all religious groups are for good anyway so I will not be surprised if we saw pastors gambling or doing illegal stuff and going against their own teachings.
It is not fair to categories them to a specific religion, consider everyone as an individual and everyone has their flaws. Even if he is a pastor or a preacher and if he thinks that gambling is fine for his fun time, then what is wrong in that unless he starts spending others money. People flock to religion when they are really facing any issues in their life and if they are providing good advises, then it can help them.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 25, 2023, 12:28:09 PM

I think we should keep pushing against CBDCs. Unless we all want to live in China and be under total dictatorial financial control.
People in the USA are planning to create their CBDC and so does there are plans globally and these government are expecting to come out with a plan that could control the people as they will be able to monitor each and every transactions made. So are you claiming that every country is trying to be a dictatorship, if so then it might be true as how things are going with Europe and the US in the past several years.

I will never user CBDC to purchase anything as i consider privacy more valuable than using government controlled centralized currency.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pastor Shuts Down His Church After Winning About $140,000 In Sports Betting.. on: March 25, 2023, 12:04:31 AM
A Ugandan Pastor by the name, David Ochieng is said to have shut down his church after winning money equivalent to about $140,000 through sports betting..

The church members came for their normal weekly services and were shocked to discovered that the entire place were locked, and the pastor no where to be found, the pastor was later contacted, and he confessed that he become a pastor out of greed and not because God called him ...
One of the best confessions he could make and that too only because he won a life changing money according to his dreams, if not he will be scamming people in the name of God like the rest, inspiring story to remember  Cheesy.

How long he will be able to survive with this win and it is certain that he will be spending everything to gamble again and probably bust majority of his wins.

I was really shocked this fight was really controversial and for me, this is a real robbery Said Nurmagomedov was dominating the fight and have more strikes landed than Jonathan Martinez even though there is blood on Said Nurmagomedov's nose pretty much that 9 takedowns and that submission were a valid reason why this turned to be a robbery Said was very disappointed with the result because pretty much he know that he won this fight but the judges have done it again,
This is going on against Russian fighters for a while, the judges are messing up with the results and Petr Yan felt this in his last fight against Sean O'Malley and there is no way that he would have lost that but this fight was different as Merab Dvalishvili was on a mission to create some record for the most take down attempts and his stamina is incredible and Petr Yan is on a three fight loosing streak.

These type of stupid judging against Russian fighters has to stop as it is messing up with our bets and real money is lost. Have to go for round bets if Russian fighters are involved rather than moneyline to be on the safe side.

Do remember, this is still a memecoin and I suggest to stay away from it, but due to it's popularity it became one of the good choice when we are talking about memecoins only.
This will always be a memecoin, but with the shitty price right now there is nothing wrong in holding a few hundred dollars worth of coins, you never know if someone would come up to hype up the coin and if there is a rally there is nothing to loose, so it is not a bad idea but then who knows how long this stupid meme coins will last as we already have a solid coin in Doge Wink.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about Litecoin? on: September 14, 2021, 11:49:06 PM
Litcoin will remain the best coin in the history of the cryptocurrency dubbed the "silver" cryptocurrency. It's paired with bitcoin. It has many advantages in its technology. Such as low fees and fast transactions.
When Litecoin was created it was a fun way to call them the silver because it is just the same code used by Bitcoin with a few changes and there were many who invested in it thinking they could make a fortune. If you look at the market now there are plenty of other coins that are far better in terms of technology and hence the moniker of silver will not stand now Tongue.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think if DOGE will pump like this if it was not listed in Binance? on: May 10, 2021, 03:55:17 PM
I really think people are too overrating binance, I know it's a popular exchange and could bring fame to project but little to nothing I've seen people speak about binance while discussing about doge, it's mostly because of elon that it pumps like this and elon's influence transcends the exchange itself
It is true that everyone is giving Binance more credits than they deserve and Dogecoin is a popular coin in the market and there are several crypto based gambling sites that accepted Doge and it was a popular coin for small time gamblers and the price started its rally when Elon Musk started but if you think back he was shilling the coin for a long time and now when he shilled when the entire market was rallying it had a really big impact.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: May 10, 2021, 02:28:51 PM
There's no other opponent of Fury that could excite us, except Joshua. We would not know who will be the best heavyweight fighter if two will not meet, it's not good for boxing and fans would not be happy on that as they only hype things out but turn out not realizing it.
The best Heavyweight is hands down Tyson Fury as he always fought high profile opponents as an underdog away from his home and yet he was able to defeat each and every one of the high profile opponents and even when Tyson returned after a few years he was able to defeat Deontay Wilder and then the judges messed up and then in the rematch he proved his worth as the best in the world.
