Prison is a overall failure. Convicted criminals should do force labor according to their crime. Any prison time below 3 years should go under vocational training making them able to stand on their own when they get out of jail. Anything above 3 years should be spent 75% of time in forced labor in manufacturing, mining and cleaning. And the rest 25% for training them to settle back in society.

This is a deliberate move of US to let Turkey occupy the Syrian Kurd area. As for US, US force cannot stay there indefinitely and Kurd is an insignificant population without a nation and not a useful ally for the US. Letting Turkey march on Kurd would bring Turkey in favor of US while deteriorating the relation between Syria/Russia and Turkey.

Crypto is not a solution when you are at economic crisis. They should have considered it some years ago. They just needs to decrease their operational costs and spend moeny to create jobs and boos the economy with internal production and consumption.
