If you forgot your password, we have no way to recover, better create new wallet and use that. |

It would be better if the OP be updated with the GUI wallet, if it have completed it's test and is ready to use.
Then we can focus on getting on a exchange.
Windows GUI wallet is tested and ready to use. We are building for other OS and will test for other operating systems. If that will take time, we will release windows GUI first. |

Is the Cryptonote algorithm good enough for future developments?
Current algo selection was based on Asic resistance, privacy-focused and established standard(BCN/XMR). For near future, we will continue with this algo. Rest if future needs and project direction require other algo or new algo we are flexible in that terms. |

Where are all miners at? The three pools listed are not generating even 19 khs on total while the network hashrate is 344 khs.
52pools is also having connection problems for now.
it looks like cryptonote diff bug. I watch it before at SUMO when it starts... Not a bug at all. Visit main pool, there was a spike in miner hashrate yesterday, you can see in graph as well. Because of which difficulty increased. It will slowly come down in a day or so. |

Ok i waited for long enough and no wallet is created yet  So .., here is my suggestion a wallet can be created in one day using http://ugui.io/just needs a junior developer with basic command line skill set that have 4 hours of spare time and and html5/css3 front end web developer with basic knowledge of bootstrap with 2 hours of spare time to make a gui for this it will use the existing wallet .. no need to any upgrade i'm willing to provide the design to be edited by the other two devs if thats ok with the creator ?? lets make sikka alive  also here is a reference link of a tutorial to make CryptoNote wallet and it will take around two days to be fully functional https://cryptonotestarter.org/create-wallet.htmlWe have seen the basic functionality of the UGUI tool, it looks great. What is the future of a GUI Wallet?? too hard or its on the cards?
is there instructions on how to install this via Github on linux without downloading the compiled version?
Two Dev are working on GUI wallet. Yes its difficult as no other wallet exist which can be forked easily, so it is taking time. But we hope some progress soon on that. |

Honestly I think it's great that you're not rushing to an exchange. There's always a sweet spot:
Too soon to exchange, people dump because there is no development or reason to hold.
Too late to exchange, miners are overburdened with coins and dump
But it's a large window in between, so you should take your time for now.
If it's a large window, when does it start.. Because I think now would be a good time. Probably more miners will join in once they see a definitive value set on this coin. I don't think there are hard and fast rules here. Your opinion is as valid as mine, so I can't tell you for sure that it's too early. I can only tell you that I personally think it's too early because there is literally no value add right now over the other cryptonotes, and so investors have nothing to be interested in. An untested WordPress plugin won't cut it. But again, this is just my opinion. I would be happy to be proven wrong and see an influx of buying on an exchange as soon as possible. Agree with you, no hurry till we bring value to project. |

Yeah, we were sitting here with the boys, drinking beer and thinking about making a coin to beat the bitcoin with dust. Looked at each other, some fucking marketers. Well, we decided that the wallet promotion and the stock exchange for free. But somehow it will not work, we said that for our work, which they will do for us, they will receive money which we do not have. Our coin will be steeper than bitcoin and sikka. And they will immediately take us for million exchanges to the most steep exchanges.

I don't think you know how things work. We have seen peak of 1.6 MH on our pools. And our cloud servers takes a click to add more capacity, so scaling will not be an issue. |

More successfully prepared coins, going to more serious exchanges had setbacks due to trivialities. And here wallet without a user-friendly interface, the prospects for development are very vague. Miners, one and a half disabled.

It is difficult and long process to build eco system and community. Rather then focusing on exchange we are waiting for more contributors to join and grow the project. We have asked community to test wordpress plugin, none turned up. We have asked your suggestion for whitepaper, none received. You expect coin to grow on its own, is a myth, we are not a ICO that raised money and original team will only do. We encouraged and rewarded those who came forward and we will keep doing so as long as we can. We again ask people to step up and contribute towards growth of this coin. somehow we feel satoshi's decision to go away was right, otherwise people would have expected him to do anything with BTC. I think still people lack meaning of decentralization and open source development. May be once we float more details about future and what uniqueness we bring to crypto, more people will associate. |

now: SouthXchange accept algo cryptonight : many contact several platform the only one currently, faster and less $$$ add fork BCN : ok $500 ( integration,dev .. base ~ 50Hours x $10 ) add fork XMR : ok $100 ( just add, support ready ) dev paid or crowdfund $ 500 & sikka list This much we can pay any day, so no crowdfund needed, but that exchange don't have any volume, so no point listing there. |
