1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't panic sell on: November 19, 2018, 02:00:05 PM
If you are panicking and debating weather you should pull the trigger on the sell order .. just do it and never come back crypto. weather you come here as an investor or a trader ( and going through different subreddits it seems like a good percentage of people don't know what the hell they are) just don't put money in that you will cry about if you lose it. "Don't invest in anything you are not willing to lose" it such a banal statement, but it holds true. if can't handle the roller coaster ride, just take your money to Vanguard Mutual Funds and let them invest it for you.

Much respect for that company and you are guaranteed a slow and steady gain in due time. No roller coaster ride...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is a virtue but how much patience do you have? on: August 28, 2018, 11:56:45 AM
Patience is definitely important. Stay positive people. Do not panic even at 300M market cap its people getting scared by news they read or hear. I personally think governments are buying during this dips its all a set up.. HOLD!!! crypto is the future.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what happened to ethereum? on: August 28, 2018, 10:49:04 AM
There are many different reason why Ethereum's price is falling after its incredible run during the past few months. any strong value increase will ultimately lead to a correction. There is no reason to think Ethereum cannot recover.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: August 26, 2018, 08:05:01 AM
Before investing in any project you need to search the profiles of the team members and see if they have the potential to deliver on their promises. when researching the team it is important to look on linkedln to see what prior experience they have in the field, and the companies they have worked at.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your tokens? on: August 24, 2018, 02:06:42 PM
your private key can unlock your Tokens and ETH. it does not care who uses it. Therefore keeping it safe is important. and the best way ' for me" to protect your private key is to use a hardware wallet. it is the most secure because a hardware wallet will never divulge the private key to anyone, even to it's owner.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should buy altcoin now? on: August 23, 2018, 04:47:14 PM
I think every time when bitcoin pumps up is a chance for the altcoin. because when btc decreases, the money will flow back to altcoins. by this, you can gain some profit.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: August 22, 2018, 02:21:37 PM
When you spend with cash, you feel the "pain" of every dollar you spend. but with electronic payments, it's easy to swipe, tap or click without noticing how much you spend. Consumers will need to renew their efforts to manage spending.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICO, why? on: August 22, 2018, 12:59:34 PM
Big money are coming into crypto. more and more funds are coming from investors to the industry, moreover "big players", like investing funds, are also entering this market, so it is possible to collect good sums of money even with average product.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: August 07, 2018, 09:22:29 AM
I don't trade really, but I'm not blindly hodling either, i tend to follow a few long-term strategies where i might sell or buy occasionally. if i had merely hodled my initial investment and never touched it my portfolio would be worth less than one third of what it is today. So i don't trade often, but when i do it's usually big decisions that i've carefully thought through.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: August 06, 2018, 05:17:31 AM
These bottlenecks are just one of the many problems that NEO's team are  attempting to fix with their own platform. The question is weather NEO's proposed changes actually offer anything new and whether the cryptocurrency will be attractive enough to encourage take up outside of china. As NEO is attempting to build on its predecessor tools it's helpful to take a look at how Ethereum works and what NEO is doing to improve it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to use your brain on: August 06, 2018, 04:57:43 AM
Greate advice., but here's a little advice on how to use your brain not only on cryto.

If you're in a bit of slump, it might be due to your brain being a bit bored. Sticking to the same daily routine is like eating just white rice everyday for your noggin. It's lacking flavor and could be elevated to amazing levels with just a few basic ingredients.

Playing games with your mind keeps you sharp and boost memory retention and powers of reasoning.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: August 06, 2018, 03:38:28 AM
Of course it will rise!, it won't go down, i am sure it will end this year above $20,000 as a stable price! You see how much of resistance do we have against Bitcoin and crytocurrency? and just year ago it was trading at $700-$1000 per coin! and this resistance was there even at $1 per coin. And it is still going up. 20,000 is the lowest
13  Economy / Economics / Re: The real estate bubble on: August 05, 2018, 10:55:15 AM
However, unlike equity bubbles, the addition of new buyers to the ecosystem actually increases the value of the underlying token. The value (given fixed supply) is simply a product of scarcity, which is going to be directly related to how many people hold the currency. an additional buyer of tesla stock does not increase the long term cash flow of the underlying business, but each additional speculator who decides that bitcoin is valuable increases the underlying value of the bitcoin network.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than banknotes on: August 05, 2018, 10:42:19 AM
Bitcoin has no use value, only exchange value, and because it is has no worth in use other than what others are willing to pay for it, it is always in a bubble: these happen when prices of assets get dislodged from their fundamental value. So Bitcoin is the perfect bubble. Now the obvious question that this raises is the following: Is Bitcoin so different from the dollar? a dollar bill also has no use other than what people are willing to pay for it. and if people decide they wish to trust the people who create the Bitcoins more than their own government, then perhaps it could be an alternative medium of exchange.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: August 05, 2018, 10:30:14 AM
Altcoins haven't even had their heyday yet. Imagine a large exchange where each coin can be directly traded for any fiat currency in the world. Right now most coins are traded at an unfair disadvantage compared to bigger coins like BTC and ETH, because not only do you have to (usually) first buy those currencies, once you buy your alt coin, you force to place its value against BTC or ETH. Every coin should be traded against your chosen fiat currency. and we're not even there yet. that's when the real fun begins.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: How is Bitcoin different from Etherium? on: August 03, 2018, 06:01:37 PM
The Bitcoin blockchain has a block limit of 1 MB. what that means is the the number of transactions that fit into a single block cannabis exceed a 1 MB. the time it takes to mine, or create, a new block on the bitcoin blockchain is about 10 minutes. this effectively means that the bitcoin network can handle 3-4 transactions per second.

The Ethereum blockchain does not have a block limit. the number of transactions that are put into a block are decided by the members. each block is mined in 12-14 seconds and the number of transactions per second are around 15.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? on: August 01, 2018, 06:30:58 PM
Aside from the fact that the primary reason that you may want a wallet is to secure your funds, you should also consider how you intend to use your currency. for long term storage for investment purposes, an offline wallet is probably safer, such as a desktop wallet, paper wallet or hardware wallet. However, for everyday use, mobile wallets and online wallets are the most convenient.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Economy Grow Forever? on: August 01, 2018, 06:16:45 PM
As a matter of economics, and this is the key to understand Gordon's analysis, sustaine growth in income per person must necessarily be driven by growth in productivity: roughly, how much output a given quantum of inputs- capital, lands, labour and so fourth- can generate. in the long run, output per person will grow approximately at the rate of growth of productivity.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: July 31, 2018, 03:03:11 PM
Risk is a huge component of an investment strategy. some individuals have a high tolerance for risk while other investors are risk-averse. one overarching rule, however, is that investors should only risk what they can afford to lose. another rule of thumb is the higher the risk, the higher the potential return, and some investments riskier than others. there are investments that guarantee an investor will not lose money, but there will also be minimal opportunity to earn a return.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from your mistakes on: July 30, 2018, 04:10:51 AM
We are not our behaviors and we are more than our mistakes. we can remember that our history does not have to predict our future. and then remember that we have an opportunity to go all in to participate fully. when faced with a big mistake, begin to pull back- to retreat. instead, we use the failure as evidence that we are growing, risking, and stretching to meet our potential. mistakes help us to remember that we are not content  to play it safe. that we understand that without risk there is sometimes no reward.
