You missed 2019, cause by 2020 there are only 50 coins in the market those are the projects with use cases and has a real product.
i don't really think so. 2 years is not enough time for this market to get its shit together and start having real things in it instead of shit. by 2 years we may be buried under shitcoins. in fact i expect the number of shitcoins picks up again pretty soon and we can surpass 5000 shitcoins eventually in a short time. of course they will all die but the rate of new shitcoin creation is faster than their death rate. and this can last until 2020 and beyond until people involved in these markets start demanding something more than pump and dumps. Sooner or later a cleanup will be done in the market and projects without a real use should fade. Competition is good but an absurd amount of tokens have been created that will deliver nothing, the hype over ico's is great, it's still going to be a while until this fever goes away. On the topic, they are bets, I would stay away from projects that have nothing to deliver, bet on solutions for everyday use. |

O Bitcoin pode se tornar uma unidade de conta ou ter algum título atrelado a ele (isso seria fantástico para especulação hehe), mas uma moeda de uso no dia a dia ainda vai demorar um bom tempo. Com a Lightning talvez isso seja mais fácil, para pagamentos de pequenos valores, o uso massivo vai se dar de forma gradual, tem muito chão ainda e com certeza passa por algum serviço de internet bem grande começando a aceitar.

A lot of the current traders came into the game last year, a scenario of absurd (and always up) volatility, and now it seems the market is not "right." I think it's still going to be a good time for a new bull run to follow the market and see what happens.

If we have more problems in the emerging economies in the coming years certainly Bitcoin will increase even higher in this ranking, it is very likely to be in the top 3 in the next 5 years. Bitcoin's tendency is to gain more and more adepts as their qualities become clear to lay people.

The ETF might be able to bring more institutional money into the market, buying Bitcoin is easy if the person studies a little bit about it, but with so much FUD spread it could bring an air of legality, and bring in new people who have distrust in the cryptos.

I think that over time Bitcoin will gain more legitimacy from the mainstream, I believe that Bitcoin-backed titles may emerge (and maybe back to gold and other precious metals). A currency without ballast in something scarce was a great loss, after which it was possible to print money out of nothing, generating a lot of economic problems.

@squallw a Jinbi só vai pagar em outubro, participei da campanha do Telegram e lá no grupo foi falado isso, porque não tenta essa da Gemera? Aceita posts locais (mas é bom não postar só aqui), são 15 por semana. Eu prefiro arriscar e participar de alguma campanha do que deixar a assinatura vaga, já faz uns 3 ou 4 meses que não recebo nada, as bounties começam a pagar mês que vem, alguma pode render um valor razoável.
Concordo, sei que você vai se aposentar com o pagamento da jinbi (risos), mas é sempre válido manter uma assinatura ativa, as vezes acerta o "jackpot" no escuro  . Hehe só no aguardo da bolada que vai vir da Jinbi. Esses dias recebi de uma campanha do Telegram... Tá valendo 9 cents meus 96 tokens do projeto, mas faz parte, é como você falou, é melhor manter a assinatura ativa, nunca se sabe quando podemos pegar um projeto promissor, já que postar eu vou postar mesmo não custa participar. |

Mais cedo ou mais tarde alguma vai ser aprovada, a que tem mais chances é a da CBOE, pelo peso do nome por trás, e quando isso acontecer o preço deve reagir, sem contar a quantia de dinheiro girando que também deve dar um gás.

Acho que esse é o grande "problema" do Bitcoin hoje em dia, é muito mais fácil comprar BTC em uma exchange do que participar da rede e ter a sua recompensa. Mas caso um ataque de 51% venha a acontecer (ou alguma tentativa como os forks do BCash e Segwit2X) já teve várias manifestações favoráveis a uma mudança no algoritmo (o Bitcoin Gold fez isso, mas falo de uma mudança vinda do Core) para seguir a cadeia atual.

Mercado nessa queda, só com muita meditação e paciencia. Pessoas já acostumadas tiram essa situação de letra, mas os mais novo... já vendem tudo.
Muitos seguem a manada, o mercado fica parecendo brincadeira de siga o chefe, o BTC cai, a maioria dos tokens e alts caem também, os gráficos ficam até parecidos no CMC. Pra quem nunca viu isso acontecer é o fim do mundo! O controle das emoções é essencial nesse caso (uma boa música também ajuda)... Talvez seja por isso que os bots de trading estão cada vez mais sendo usados, já que são imunes a emoções.
Hoje em dia é só bot, chega a ser chato. Eu gosto de ficar com a cara na tela, fazer trade manual, sentir o mercado (é assim que aprendo a lidar com emoções e tentar tomar as melhores decisões). Tem que ter emoção, só não pode se emocionar demais!!!!  Eu também gosto de fazer trade manualmente, nunca usei bot e nem pretendo usar, é chato demais as vezes, quando começam a operar freneticamente e você tem que colocar a sua ordem, mas prefiro assim mesmo. Estratégia e paciência, só com o tempo mesmo pra aprender, tentativa e erro. |

Volatility is far from over, for those who can not handle it, it's best to get out of the market. Speculation and manipulation is absurd, only with the passage of time and more investors coming in will it be possible to have less volatility, the market is new and still needs to mature. Holding the tokens and not getting down with the changes in the quote is a real art.
