301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction in upcoming 3 Month? on: July 30, 2018, 06:26:32 PM
For me the main news that can make the price explode is ETF approval (CBOE) by the SEC, this can bring billions of dollars to the market and make the momentum for the bull run. Other news on the development of Lightning Network can positively impact as well.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Do we expect from Bitcoin after the recent breakout? on: July 29, 2018, 10:14:43 PM
The hype train for ETF approval can not be discarded, it can generate a very large FOMO, but it can also generate a panic sell if it is rejected. It seems to be what will dictate prices in the coming months, both upwards and downwards.
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next trend of bitcoin? on: July 29, 2018, 10:09:47 PM
We have 2 possible scenarios. In case of approval (taking into account the proposal of the CBOE) the price should rise, as it is difficult to predict, but certainly is very positive. In case the request is denied we can have a massive sale and the price should go back to the range of 5-6k usd.
304  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Telegram Passport on: July 29, 2018, 12:22:48 PM

305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too late to invest in bitcoin? Is it a bubble? on: July 29, 2018, 02:02:36 AM
Given the potential that Bitcoin has yet to say that it is cheap, it is likely to reach USD 100k in the next 2-3 years, for its qualities as a store of value and the improvements that will make it a viable payment method for the mainstream.

307  Local / Criptomoedas Alternativas / Re: Como vender os tokens? on: July 28, 2018, 04:15:19 PM

309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: False fear about BITCOIN. on: July 27, 2018, 12:32:14 PM
There are two types of people who speak poorly of Bitcoin, those who do not know the technology, and who know very well and are afraid of the potential that it can achieve. The market is becoming increasingly resilient to the FUD, so for those who know and believe in technology, these news do not make a difference.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: July 27, 2018, 12:25:58 PM
It does not matter if it was not created for this purpose, it is decentralized and it is the users who decide what to do with it. Its characteristics of scarcity and distribution are the main reasons for this speculation that exists in Bitcoin. As much as the original idea was not this, it is now a reality, for me this happened with the development of ASICS, it became unfeasible to get Bitcoins mining, so you have to use fiat to get it.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another bitcoin ETF gets rejection by SEC on: July 27, 2018, 12:17:43 PM
This is not the ETF that the market expects to be approved, but the CBOE. Prices have not moved significantly with this news, only if the CBOE ETF is barred we may have a bad signal, but it is more likely to be approved.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US GOVERNMENT CONFISCATES IRANIAN BITCOIN HOLDER ASSETS on: July 26, 2018, 12:44:34 PM
That's why it's important to be the real owner of BTCs, owning the private keys. If you are in an online service or exchange, they may be forced to freeze balances or something similar. Another way to protect yourself would be to only do p2p transactions, so it would be harder to leave traces.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a Reserve Currency? on: July 26, 2018, 12:39:29 PM
Being a reserve of value is one of the best characteristics of Bitcoin, its deflationary aspect is fantastic. It is probably already part of the portfolio of many banks, even if it is quiet, and over time it can be used for that purpose by governments. Increasingly it gains legitimacy and the tendency is to be increasingly used.
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Again BTC going down? on: July 25, 2018, 05:49:25 PM
These corrections are healthy, if the market goes up quickly without correcting it tends to drop very fast as well. Strong growth is important to reduce volatility. The timing is positive, if the ETF is approved we will have a very favorable scenario.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Crypto Market Without Bitcoin? on: July 25, 2018, 04:02:39 PM
In the current scenario it is difficult to imagine the market without Bitcoin, it has been the measure of value from the beginning and so it will be for decades, unless some crypto can be superior in terms of technology and credibility.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WOW! Cryptocurrency VS Visa Transaction per second (TPS) comparison on: July 25, 2018, 02:08:11 PM
If the Lightning Network can even be functional at this level, it will render dozens of coins unusable, and Bitcoin will be even more dominant and consequently more valued. I believe that the next two years are vital for day-to-day acceptance of crypto-currencies as a form of payment.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] SEC delays decision on bitcoin ETF until 21st sept on: July 25, 2018, 01:58:05 PM
This is the biggest reason for a rise this year, we can have a new price level in the case of approval, FOMO has already begun, and if approved, should exceed 10k and have strong support in this area.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you ready for bull market? on: July 24, 2018, 05:48:01 PM
The market is uncertain, but a wave of optimism has begun in the last few days, so we may have a positive moment ahead. The discouragement was great and many people ended up giving up investing, with this new perspective and institutional money we can see prices improving gradually.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: July 23, 2018, 10:24:13 PM
Certainly being a digital asset is one of Bitcoin's greatest potentialities. It is being seen more as a commodity than as a means of payment, it today is more like gold than with the dollar, and just as gold can be used to settle a deal Bitcoin may as well, then the future is very promising.
320  Local / Criptomoedas Alternativas / Re: Bitcoin e altcoins?
