1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia ticket not answered and coins no showing up in Balances. on: December 17, 2017, 01:04:52 AM
Last night I transfered some ethereum to Cryptopia from bitstamp, I can see the coin are in the wallet address :0x9a5165df0fee5c3fe9658a1c894a21c1b790fc35.
But they are not showing up in the Cryptopia Balances. And the admin is not answering my ticked so what can I do to get there attention ? I am beginning to suspect them for scammers but what do you guys think ?

Anyone with similar problems?

You should be careful with ETH blockchain - it has many bugs

Cryptopia support work slowly, but it works good..

I`ve been waiting for 2 months, but finally, my lost tokens was deposited to my balance..
Btw, the token has made x3 by that time, so my suffering has been paid Roll Eyes

2  Economy / Exchanges / Re: C-CEX.com Trusted, Secure & Friendly Exchange Since 2013. 200+ Alts,USD,Low Fees on: December 17, 2017, 12:23:05 AM

I have raised many tickets and I am also facing the same issue of 2FA Removal confirmation mail not being received. Lot of users are facing the same issue..How can you solve this? My mail is Prasshant.mehta@gmail.com and I have been raising tickets since Nov 2017 but no solution received!!

Look carefully in your Gmail box, search in spam, and also look at the thread where the messages from c-cex are collected.. I think it`s there

Gmail mailbox usability sucks, it`s not convenient and uncommon, one smart lady today have been looking there for the confirmation message which has been right in front of her eyes Roll Eyes

Also I would say something to those who deal with ETH and ETH-based shitcoins - guys, you should have guts if you want to use mad Buterin`s blockchain - it can bring you much troubles..

Today my ETH have been going to c-cex balance for 12 hours, etherscan have been showing the transaction succeed, but there was no ETH on my balance, and I`ve almost got heart attack when I`ve found this thread and read your messages.. But finally, ETH has been deposited, and c-cex support was quite responsive, though there was no need in their help in fact

So, be cautious with shitcoins, especially ETH-based and new ones which have unstable blockchain, and don`t refer these problems to the c-cex team

4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: December 15, 2017, 02:07:59 PM

Use several exchanges, I think it is the only answer, and leave some part of your portfolio in other assets, don`t forget about diversification
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: fee transfer too high? on: December 15, 2017, 02:01:40 PM
Hi all, i'm new to trading and i made my first wallet of bitcoin in CoinBase...now i would like to buy some altcoin but if i would like to transfer bitcoin to exchange like bittrex or other they ask me an high fee for tranfer like 12$ for transfer 100$ of BTC....is it possible? How can you  make good trading if everytime you have to transfer money from wallet you have to pay so high fee?  I did mistake something? thanks

Hi

You did nothing wrong, but sometimes BTC blockchain is overloaded, and the fees are going higher..

I don`t use CoinBase but blockchain.info has the option of customizing the fee, which vary depending on current blockchain load, you can set the fee even lower than recommended (red letters), but then your transaction may stuck and you will have to wait

Also you may use some cold desktop wallet where you can set the fee even to zero, but of course it can stuck too, especially now

So, I`m using blockchain.info and I wait for a good time to make cheap transaction..

When you will move your BTC from exchanges - they generally have fixed fee of BTC 0.001-0.002, so I move minimum BTC 0.2 or use another coins for smaller transactions

So, it`s not all, but enough to start, investigate the questin further and good luck Smiley
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: December 15, 2017, 01:44:42 PM
Hi. How can you recognize pumps and dumps for any coin? Is there any universal indicators? I mean to predict it. Maybe there are some non-market signs (banners, posts, etc.)
Should I avoid pumps and dumps or try to earn some money?
It would be interesting to know your opinion, guys! Thanks

I think pump and dump may be very profitable, but not for anyone, because you should be able to do the things contrarywise..

I`ve noticed that it`s very hard to buy coin at the bottom, when everybody selling and dumping it, and it`s feeling very easy to buy on top, together with all that stupid crowd who will lose their money soon

So this is the psycho-indicators, beware of crowd, don`t buy on top, do contrarywise

8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: December 15, 2017, 01:36:48 PM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..

Yes, patience is good, but sometimes I`m facing the leak of funds, so I have to sell some good, prospective coins at a lower price, because I see more profitable opportunities right at that moment
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest on: December 15, 2017, 01:32:07 PM

I think you should have BTC in your portfolio anyway, also buy ETH, because many prospective coins are hard to buy directly for fiat money, so you will buy further for BTC or ETH
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: December 15, 2017, 01:26:49 PM
I think you can start with any little amount you are able to afford, but for the serious trading you should have at least 0.2 BTC or 3-4 ETHs
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investing on: December 15, 2017, 01:22:20 PM
Usually I prefer to take part in Bounty, not directly investing my money, but my working hours. Of course I`ll invest my money if I will be sure in profit

For example, once I`ve invested in one coin of cryptocurrency exchange, and along with the coins I have ICO bonus now - trading without fees until the end of 2018, so I will get my money back anyway by trading, and the coins will also give me good profit in future
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: December 15, 2017, 01:13:32 PM
please i need advice from those traders have has been in the business for long, how do you combine it with your other normal life activities , i mean cryptocurrency trading , i just started and am glued to my phone every second , advice will be appreciated  Grin Grin Grin Grin

During the first half year you can expect too lose money and to constantly think about crypto, trying to figure out why you are loosing the money and what you can do against it.
Answer is we all lost money at the beginning and you can only keep going forward.

I agree with you, we must be able, have force to lose money and go on, otherwise we have nothing to do with this business
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH price going crazy on: December 15, 2017, 01:08:22 PM
It`s not going crazy I think, because it`s just caming back to BTC 0.04, which is quite normal for etherium

I hope it will really go crazy in the nearest future, because I hold several ETHs waiting for that:Smiley
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Ethereum: Kik Plans to Move Its ICO Tokens to Stellar on: December 15, 2017, 01:04:14 PM
CrptoKitties has made it more expensive to transact in ETH, it will be interesting to see if they are able to overcome this bottleneck with their plans to migrate from PoW to Pos.

Yes this is very interesting, and I`ve expected such a reaction of big ETH blockchain customers to the recent problems, so let`s see how Buterin will solve the questions he is facing now
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal for ICO prices to drop once they're listed on the exchange? on: December 15, 2017, 12:56:29 PM
The all bounty hunters sell coin after they listing on exchange, but have some examples were coin was up, for example Cindicator

Of course, not ALL the bounty hunters sell their rewards, but it is normal situationn when prise drops for some tima right after the ICO, and if the project itself is good, I think it`s good time to buy the coins cheaper than ICO price
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is finished, etherdelta need set gas price to 60, $1+ for one transaction on: December 15, 2017, 10:09:45 AM
Seriously you were complaining for a fee of one dollar?

ETH is finished, etherdelta need set gas price to 60 because of that stupid cat app, $1+ for one transaction

Etherdelta is working fine for me, only that it is bugged as hell, i can not even buy a single coin because they are giving me a lot of errors at the same time.

CryptoKitties are killing the ethereum network. I was on etherdelta for over 8 hours today trying to make some simple transaction but it is not working at all.

Everything is fixed now, a few hours ago i received 0.15 ethereums to my wallet and the guy only paid $0,45 of fees only for that transaction.

Good news, then I`ll try to trade there again. I hope that the problems of ETH blockchain will be fixed when they will switch to the POS algorythm
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin predictions for end of 2017 on: December 15, 2017, 10:02:52 AM

Hmm.. I don`t think LTC will grow much soon.. It`s just have made about x2 and even more, so I would not expect any LTC skyrocket in the nearest observable future
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple getting behind? on: December 15, 2017, 09:38:13 AM
Yesterday XRP has come back to the rate of 5000 satoshis, and now the price is fluctuating around this level, so we may see anything, maybe it will grow even more
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Mercatox - possible megascam---> NOT WORKING AGAIN! on: December 15, 2017, 12:22:30 AM

I don`t think Mercatox is megascam, but what we face now looks like little scamming. I think it`s directly connected with the recent XRB pump, and the service is not working NOT due to server problems

It`s not serious business in my opinion, hope this will not be repeated in future, though it`s just a hope Cry
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: December 15, 2017, 12:02:54 AM

I`m not too long in the business, but I can already say something

1 Don`t forget that money is NOT most important thing in this life

2 Trader never sleeps, but sometimes it would be better to lie in the bed instead of doing wrong
