3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: June 03, 2019, 02:20:39 PM
This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

“I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren,” -  Vito Halasan

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

Here's the link for complete article:
https://news.mb.com.ph/2019/05/29/filipino-janitor-wins-7-million-jackpot-in-canadian-lottery/

A dream that makes everything into reality. Just a piece of lottery ticket this man changed his life 360 degrees financially. He can now provide the necessities of his grand children. It doesn't always necessary mean that you will become like him of you do gambling but it's all about strategy but most especially your luck with gambling. Even you devote everything into gambling if you don't have that enough luck then its either you lose or not.

5  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: May 20, 2018, 01:32:40 PM
Well the reason why we invest in education is to be knowlegable enough in all aspects so that when we will apply for a job we can be able go get hired instantly but if you invest in bitcoin you can earn big infew days so much better to imvest in bitcoin rather than in water.

Yes you're right. Investing with education can be the best thing you can do in your whole life because it cannot be taken away from you no matter how they destroy you still your education will remain not like investing with bitcoin anytime you get scammed there's no assurance. But education will be your weapon to fight the challenges and struggles of life.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: May 20, 2018, 01:27:02 PM
Frist China want to ban all the foreign exchanges in their country.
https://www.ccn.com/china-looks-ban-centralized-cryptocurrency-trading-reports/

then France Creates Working Group for Cryptocurrency Regulation
https://cointelegraph.com/news/just-one-person-found-to-have-caused-bitcoins-jump-from-150-to-1000-in-2013

then German Central Bank Director: Crypto Regulations Must Be International
https://cointelegraph.com/news/german-central-bank-director-crypto-regulations-must-be-international

Also India already setup a board for crypto regulation.

What is happening all over the world?Something whats soul purpose is to be decentralized will eventually be centralized?

How much do you think a global regulation on crypto will affect the overall market in this year?

I don't think so that global regulation be the cause of death of bitcoin but some of countries regulate bitcoin just to protect it from greedy people who scamming. Not all countries regulate bitcoin because they want to destroy but rather to protect and make it safe for investors and traders.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do people get their bitcoins? on: May 20, 2018, 01:23:56 PM
I do get my Bitcoin from doing works.  I offer my service and in return they pay me in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency which then I convert to Bitcoin.  I do use my Bitcoin for my daily expenses and save some for future use or future profit.

I think we have the same ways on getting our bitcoin. I also get and earned my bitcoin by rendering my services to promote their project so that a lot of people will going to invest to it. I don't invest money but I invest my time and effort in promoting their project. Well it is very effective and very profitable.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why China banned bitcoin? on: May 20, 2018, 07:04:27 AM
Sorry, I just went to ask my Chinese friend.
The news I got was that China did not ban bitcoin transactions.
It's just tougher regulation.
I also don't see any news that exchanges stopped trading bitcoins.

I think they want to secure every transactions and make the bitcoin become safer for all the traders that's why they are regulating this because they want that every investors and traders are safe from any scammers. I hope that this wouod be the reason behind banning bitcoin in different countries.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: May 18, 2018, 10:40:48 PM
Hello,

Would it be possible to make 1% of your capital every day?

This would be 30% in a month, this is a lot.

It really comes to your capital:

1% of 100 would be 1$ daily, so 30$ on a month.
1% of 1000 would be 10$ daily, so 300$ month.
...

Is trying aiming at 1% daily too much? to ambitious?

There's no for being an ambitious but the wrong here is that you can't do anything to achieve it.
With your thoughts I think it would be possible if we work hard then this 1% daily would be a great income. Nowadays it is hard to earn huge profit but I believe it's a matter on how are you going to handle things just like losing.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: May 18, 2018, 10:37:20 PM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?
Property ? normal crowdfunding? give your input

Always be wise because cryptocurrencies is not for long term invesment because time comes that cryptos will never be popular anymore because another thing will be existed better than this. Therefore,  it is better for us to invest with properties because you can make sure that you have a huge profit here because as time goes by it will go up. Be wise in making profit.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: May 18, 2018, 10:34:42 PM
If tax is used for the development of country and to help people who don't have capacity to avail his necessities then we must pay our tax. There is an agreement between the council and the citizen because part of the obligation as a citizen, is to pay the taxes. We do not agree with it but as a citizen that has a concern to the progress of the community, we are responsible to have tax.

Tax is for us, it is just used by the government officials to corrupt to the people. Hence, there are people who hate taxes. Yet, we don't blame the policy but the official who are greed to make money using the national treasure.

Yes I agree with your thoughts. Tax is a big help for social protection and for economic development. Therefore, those people who have a high salary then you can help a lot of people by simply paying tax.  We don't blame our government if they obliged us to pay tax because it's for civic purposes.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Goverment is not recommending to use digital currency such a bitcoin? on: May 18, 2018, 10:30:47 PM
Yesterday I red article regarding digital currency. The article aim to discourage us in using digital currency as these currency is not recognize by our country monetary institution. What do you think is the reason why  other governments are discouraging its citizen to use digital currency? Any thoughts.....

The only reason why they don't want no 4th coin or they regulate bitcoin is that because they can never control it and they don't even know who created this one then how can they control it. So government keep doing something to end bitcoin and to discourage users.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: May 18, 2018, 10:27:09 PM
I do not believe in a rumor. and also about the next bitcoin is litecoin. why?

because I see LTC has a slow development, and also has no plan, so when bitcoin down, LTC prices can not survive, even down as well.

and when compared to the NEO, I prefer NEO or ZCash rather than LTC.

Yes you're right because it's not yet popular just like bitcoin and and can't be used as a means of payment like bitcoin. Bitcoin has been created to be our official means of payment online just not like litecoin I don't even know it's purpose. That's why I don't believe with rumors like this because it's just their opinion.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: May 16, 2018, 10:36:00 PM
I'm just reading an article in the newspaper. Klaus W. Wellershoff (a last chief in UBS Bank) says that's impossible to use a currency with volatility as money. If the value of the money decrease, that means the value of the merchandise decrease. For example : if you buy a flat with bitcoin and few years later the bitcoin value decrease... Your flat lose his value as well.

What do you think about this argument?

Since bitcoin doesn't stable therefore the price varies. With this situation I think if we accept bitcoin as our means of  payment then we should also accept that the value of something we bought through bitcoin should not be stable like bitcoin. But for me its not about the value of bitcoin but it's the value of something you bought is the most important so that even though bitcoin go up or down still the value of that thing is stable.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: May 16, 2018, 10:31:02 PM
Interesting point of view.
I'm on exactly opposite end - I'm going deeper with ICO's this year.

Your points are pretty valid, but this mean you just need to be more peaky where you are investing. And I'm always and only buying during the pre-ico phase, avoiding those ICO's with massive pre-sale.

I think that person is not that kind of investor like you that's why he/she want to quit ICO . Well it's not bad when you want to quit investing with ICO maybe you lost a lot that's why but you need to be aware that investing with ICO needs you to become wise. Just like what you did you have the strategy that's why you gained profit.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learning Cryptocurrency in Universities? on: May 16, 2018, 10:26:35 PM
Do you think that cryptocurrency should be taught in schools or University? Specially in the field of business management?

As a student, I believe it will give us an advantage to this so called cryptoworld, right?

Since we are now in the world of technology I think bitcoin must be taught in the university because it really benefited us but there are a lot of things to be considered of course the acceptance of bitcoin of your government and of course your teacher should be expert in the crypto world.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: May 16, 2018, 10:23:56 PM
Be ready and aware that 2018 is the year of regulatory reckoning. Countries around the world are trying to determine how they are going to treat cryptocurrencies. Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) has halted several ICOs and hinted at the need for greater crypto regulation.

I am into cryptocurrency because of freedom, I can't deny to myself that I have worries regarding this issue. And as an investor, I really have no choice but to stay with crypto once the governments around the world have control to cryptocurrencies (if that became possible).

So as much as we can, also invest with physical properties with what you've earned. For we don't know what will happen next with our money in the digital world.

This is not an advice. It's simply a shared idea.

How about you? What do you have in mind? Undecided

Yes you're right. A lot of government of different countries are now trying to end bitcoin by simply banning it so as much as possible we should start investing with physical properties because we didn't when will bitcoin last. Always remember that we can't stop the government of what are they going to do with bitcoin.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Scam - No more on: May 16, 2018, 10:38:42 AM
#consensus2018

The narrative has changed. It used to be “Is Bitcoin a scam?” now it’s “ how high do you think the price will go”.
Institutional money is on its way people.

Matthew Goetz from 'Block Tower Capital' stated in front of a capacity crowd at Consensus;
"Bitcoin to 60k in 2018"

Goldman Sachs are already well and truly in the space.

Well it is good that the perception of people about bitcoin changes. We, who earned bitcoin in a good way without any capital they called us a scammer because they still believe that bitcoin is a scam and there perception about us who earned bitcoin is the same the way they see bitcoin. So it's a good news for us that the thing we did here is not scamming

Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.
Yes we can get much profit when we hold our tokens for a year's or months but it depends on how this tokens increase or decrease because there are some coins increasing and decreasing but not able increase higher than our expectations so in investing with Crypto we must first examined the coins if it has a potential.
