Yup, Neo competes with ETH but also XEM, EOS and ICX. Last two are new cryptocurrencies that can with active development become strong competitors

In my opinion EDO, EOS, ICX and SC are good choices. You could also catch THC at the lower price instead of POT, it should show itself very good at midterm.

Maybe it would be better to sell XRP and buy some ICX or EOS. Or, if you really like XRP idea, choose XLM, it is also perspective coin

Bitcoin is still a strong, enough stable cryptocurrency which is surviving at market from 2009, so panic selling has no sense, bitcoin will recover anyway

It looks like that guy wanted to buy tokens on ICO and decided to pay a high price for gas to increase the priority of his transaction, wanting to receive his tokens first. But the gas price was too high, 25000 gwei per gas so commission just eat all his transaction. And by the way, he lost only 0.1 Eth, 0.65 Eth - full price of the commission, if there was enough money. Anyway, 25000 gas limit is not enough for a smart contract, more likely 250000, so this transaction had no chance.

Of course, I think that cryptocurrencies will replace fiat currencies in the near future. They are rapidly upgrading every month.

Don`t worry, it is not very hard. Use https://ethgasstation.info/ to see the optimal price per gas before transaction and fee will be like ~1$. Also, you could set the gas limit like 250000 because if gas ends before completing transaction it will be lost. You will not lose unused gas or pay for it, so you can not worry about the high gas limit.

At this moment if it happens, all cryptos will crush but they will not die because of their technologies. They are new utilities for nowadays life in future.

Only if you will see the beginning of crashing, else you will receive much less money than you could. No guarantees in crypto.

I`ve heard that crypto community have only 5% of women. It is interesting, they are fighting for their rights now but not thinking about their future.
