1  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory, BCH, BTG and "old" BTC on: December 02, 2017, 11:16:36 PM
For BCH, please read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2070058.0

Armory currently does not support BTG, so you will need to export your private keys into a wallet that does.

I am sorry, but this is a totally useless answer, as far as I am concerned.

First, is the answer to my question yes or no ?

Then, can someone name a wallet that support BCH and BTG ?

Finally, can someone name the different steps to be followed ?

Thanks.
2  Bitcoin / Armory / Armory, BCH, BTG and "old" BTC on: December 02, 2017, 05:31:22 PM
Hello,
I had a few BTC in Armory.
I removed a part from it "n" to put it on an exchange platform before the creation of BCH.
This platform credited me of n BTC, then of n BCH and n BTG after the forks.
I removed the rest "m" from Armory after the forks - so I can't send them in a BCH or BTG purse now.
Is there a possibility of getting back m BCH and m BTG ?
After all the ownership of these BTC is duly noted in the blockchain of BCH and BTG, even though it was before their existence, no ? Huh
Thank you in advance.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Place to be before a fork to get both BTC and the new one on: October 23, 2017, 02:26:59 PM
Hello,
I had a few BTC in my Armory wallet and a few in Bitcoin.de.
After the first fork, Armory unchanged, Bitcoin.de gave me as many BCH as BTC - thanks to them !
Where should we park our BTC to get bitcoin gold or whatever new bitcoin after a fork ?
Generally, what is the line of reasoning to follow ?
Thanks a lot !
4  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: [SOLVED] Armory 0.96.2 always says "Node offline" on: September 21, 2017, 04:54:18 PM
Fine, thanks, it works !
5  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: [SOLVED] Armory 0.96.2 always says "Node offline" on: September 21, 2017, 01:45:55 PM
https://github.com/goatpig/BitcoinArmory/pull/310 certainly is good to know, however... what does it mean ?
I have bitcoin v15.0.1 fully synced, armory 0.96.2 running, but node stays offline.
How can I not subtract MESSAGE_HEADER_LEN from version payload length #310 Huh
Thanks !
6  Bitcoin / Armory / Problem with 0.96.0 and another with 0.96.2 on: September 14, 2017, 10:35:14 AM
With 0.96.0, I get in ArmoryQt.exe.log :
(ERROR) ArmoryUtils.pyc:3747 - Unsupported language  specified. Defaulting to English (en)
(ERROR) ArmoryQt.py:1840 - Failed to setup SDM

With 096.2, ArmoryDB.exe is missing and wx9popen.exe doesn't start.
In ArmoryQt.exe.log :

What can I do ?
7  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.96.2 on an external drive possible ? on: September 05, 2017, 01:19:00 PM
Do I have to go back to Armory 0.93.3, empty my wallet for Electrum and quit Armory ?
8  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.96.2 on an external drive possible ? on: September 04, 2017, 02:15:31 PM
Bitcoin Core and ArmoryDB are failing to start. Try starting Bitcoin Core manually. Also try starting ArmoryDB manually. To start ArmoryDB manually, you will need to open the command prompt in the folder containing ArmoryDB.exe. Then run your ArmoryQt command but with ArmoryDB.exe instead.
Bitcoin core does start - when I launch it, without a problem.
I have no more ArmoryDB.exe (I had it in 93.3 and 96.0), now it is a wx9popen.exe instead.
Double clicking on it leads to ; This python program is not designed to be launched alone.

Thanks for answering.
I use Bitcoin core 14.0.
When I use Armory 96.2 with Bitcoin running independantly :

10  Bitcoin / Armory / Armory 0.96.2 on an external drive possible ? on: September 03, 2017, 11:49:07 PM
I used to use Bitcoin and Armory 93.3, it worked OK on my C drive since 2015.
Then I wanted to put both Bitcoin and Armory on an external drive.
I put :
F:\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe -choosedatadir=1 -datadir="F:\Bitcoin"
on my Bitcoin icon, and
F:\ArmoryStandalone\ArmoryQt.exe --satoshi-datadir="F:\Bitcoin" --datadir="F:\ArmoryStandalone"
in my Armory icon.
It worked !
I noticed then that a new release was available, so I upgraded towards 0.96-beta-a3d01aa722
It pretends it works fine, but the number of blocks stay fixed at 377 thousand, while it is at 383 thousand in Bitcoin.
So I thought there might be a bug due to Segwit or whatever, so I upgraded to 0.96.2
It doesn't start at all !
What can I do ?
Please help me !
