World's largest bitcoin wallet has entered a strategic partnership with Unocoin. Does that mean we will be easily able to buy crypto coins from indian cards?

Recently China has just banned the sale of ICO and they have term this as an illegal . Do you think its a huge risk you have taken to bring this ICO in India at this juncture if Govt here follows or they will follow a ban of ICO. Because their simple question will be who gave you authority to take money from others? How well are you prepared for it and if Govt says to refund the money to all the investors back are you up for it?

Sir, we're working on this project for over an year now. Indicoin has became an integral part of every team member involved.
As for taking money from others, we are not dealing with INR or any other fiat currency, we are asking for a contribution in digital currency for which India has no regulation up until now. If for a chance, it will be banned up until or during the ICO, investors will be repaid in full, But what we feel this is not the case for India because,

Why China is cracking down on cryptocurrencies is obvious. US and some other democracies are doing the biggest ICOs in the world. AND THEY ARE CONTINUING WITH IT in some kind of regulated manner. China is a communist country, cryptocurrencies will free people of China's economic hold, which it can't allow. Communism is very strict with having state control over important items. That's why China also has many censorship laws.

Chinese users used Bitcoins to invest in foreign markets, which is somewhat prohibited in China and is allowed only under special conditions. Also, China aims to launch a cryptocurrency built by state to replace its other currency. So ICOs run counter to what it believes is its exclusive right.

6  Local / India / Re: Anyone having experience in buying BTC from international bitcoin exchanges? on: September 05, 2017, 06:49:40 AM
Anyone used Credit/Debit Cards on any international exchanges yet like Kraken / Poloneix / CEX ? I have successfully registered a tier 2 account with my card there, but have not purchased anything yet. With bitcoin prices crashed right now, it might be time to pull the trigger.

If anyone has purchased via their card on any international exchange, please tell me how much total cost did you have to incur (including all fees, charges)?

The best recommended international exchange you haven't even mentioned - CEX
8  Local / India / Re: Best trading exchange and wallet to use for Bitcoin and altcoins in india on: September 04, 2017, 03:44:33 PM
Hi fellow Indians..!!! So I have recently started with this cryptocurrency rush and so I wanted to know the best exchange for BTC and altcoin trading in India. I looked at Zebpay but their buy and sell figures were way off same goes for unocoin... Any other ideas? And also I plan to hold a number of altcoins and I don't prefer getting a trezor/ledger right in the beginning any idea on which would be the next best option to get a good secure wallet(other than the hardware ones)....

Thanks in advance,
Akaash

Poloniex, Kraken etc.. are some of the exchanges I personally signed up and been using for a long time. Check them out, Kraken only supports wire transfer if you want to withdraw the amount in EUR. IMO, best way is to trade alts from international exchanges convert them to BTC and then cashout from some Indian exchange.

Being an Indian, how do you deal with FEMA?
9  Local / India / Total Buying Cost - CEX vs Zebpay on: September 04, 2017, 03:14:20 PM
Guys let's say I am Indian nationalist and have Indian credit card. Let's say I want to buy 1 Bitcoin which is 5000$. How much will buying from zebpay cost vs buying from CEX, all costs inclusive. (Currency conversion, interchange fees, exchange fees, etc etc).

Just trying to figure out which one is cheaper and by how much.
Thanks
