1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy 1 BTC in Detroit, Cash in person on: January 20, 2020, 11:37:11 PM
Dude i'm from here, you even been to Detroit?    Thanks for the lecture.
2  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking to buy 1 BTC in Detroit, Cash in person on: January 20, 2020, 09:55:28 PM
Whats up guys, Im looking to complete a small anonymous cash transaction for Bitcoin in the Detroit area.   I'm currently helping a client achieve a long term position in Bitcoin but he refuses to use any centralized means to do so.  This doesn't have to be BTC, he will accept major Alts as well since they can be traded up. (Not accepting SV)  This is a legit buyer, looking for a legit seller.  Local only, cash only.  Willing to pay reasonable mark up.    Thanks!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTC FORK] [BITFINEX] Bitcoin Interest - Decentralized Savings - Join Now on: July 05, 2019, 04:15:09 AM
Centralized shit coin https://miningpoolstats.stream/bitcoininterest

No one is taking it serious, it never had ANY interest from the space.  Its lost 99.68% of its value since launch and continues lower.   Its only a matter of time on this one, i'm calling it now.

I stated this info and more on their discord and got banned for it, guess they don't want people knowing that 99% of their hash rate is an unknown central source.

was their password "magnets"?

I missed this, that was funny Cheesy    It was not magnets, but was very simple like that.    I went on 6 or 7 of their accounts with the password if I remember correct.  It's really interesting what people talk about when they think there's no one listening.  Funny this thread lives almost 2 years after I goofed on the ICP.   @Timebits  I'm not malicious.  I have spent enough time in the system and with law enforcement to purge my stupidity.

Hi guys!  The word "Hack" should always be related to something realistic.  Its not something magical.   Relate it to a piece of information that you have and no one else does.   Where's the hack?   The hack is in how I obtained it.   But was it really a hack?  and not just insider information being passed along?   You guys should all question what the word "Hack" means to you and realize it can mean many things, not just some computer whiz.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phreaking
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin G. a scam? on: May 24, 2019, 09:09:18 PM
I came across this article this morning and I want everyone's input on this idea...

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/is-bitcoin-gold-a-scam/

Is Bitcoin Gold a scam? Think about it...  Ever since the BTG Wallet scam happened I've been a little concerned that all of these "alternate bitcoins" were just trying to take advantage of people.

Idk... thoughts?

I just came back to crypto when BTG was forked, haven't heard of BTG for years now and it seems that people had stayed away from it after the BTG wallet incident. The only Bitcoin fork that is famous among crypto enthusiast is BCH which is still alive and kicking.

It seems that way because you were gone, not us, the miners, traders and hodlers were still here, exploring this new bitcoin.    I have been here mining BTG steady for over a year, the team is there, if you have concerns you can contact everyone right up to the lead developer. https://discordapp.com/channels/378266958824603649/398943544154259466

They are a transparent crew and a lot of changes have been made since you've been gone.  I have ran a full node since shortly after the initial fork, I held my hash power on ZEC while I determined what was going on with BTG.  After all the initial FUD I moved all my rigs to BTG 200,9.  I pulled my rigs off around the 51% attack and then immediately put them back on after the BTG fork to 144,5 and aggressive response to the attack.   Transparent, ask them, they will tell you, if you don't understand they are more graceful than Satoshi, they have time to help you understand. https://h4x3rotab.github.io/btg-transparent/

They are an active bunch, now they have a perimeter setup, Its going to be interesting to see who wants to fuck with them now?   Scam this scam that, all the answers to all the scam questions are there, you just have to dig it out and get to know them, don't hide. I have a shit load of resources dedicated to this project, independently, with no connection to the core group.

7  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 50K, China banned miners on: May 20, 2019, 05:58:49 PM
This thread is funny to me, did any of you guys even look at bitcoin's hash rate?    Oh and all the Chinese pools that are still mining right now you mean, those are the ones your friend said is down?   Funny how people just say stuff and no one really looks.
Quote
my friend in China confirmed 90% of miner in china are shutdown
I just posted proof what OP posted is bullshit, refute it.  Roll Eyes https://miningpoolstats.stream/bitcoin
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: A GIFT FOR MY PARENTS on: May 20, 2019, 05:53:26 PM
I know the intention is good, but don't ever give bitcoin to anyone who doesn't understand it.  The chances of it never being touched are high.   My advice is, you hold the .3 for them, being someone who understands this technology and in the future when bitcoin and cryptos are more widely accepted you can show them then, how to spend it.   No need to lead them into an investment mentality with this, investments are not spendable, bitcoin is.

Your talking about eradicating some of the greatest strongholds mankind has ever faced.   Salute.

Thanks for talking to me Rural, everyone just ignores it. I don't know why.... are they scared? Don't need to salute me, I am not doing this for fame or gain, I could of kept playing video games and kept my mouth shut and been "richer" then most of the doctors on this world and had more fame, I am doing this for everyone (which includes me). You know I been a cherry picker and peach picker most of my life, I sorted the rot from not. When I went to the markets and saw people eating my cherries that was keeping them alive, it gave me something more than any amount of money could. A sense of self purpose, Real Treasure. Knowing my hard work would keep people alive and creator more creators to create.

anyways do you have any ideas for case use of blockchain?

Your welcome.  I wont speculate as to why its only you and I (and boyyy now).  It's a measure of respect, you should accept it as such Wink  Lots of cherry business in Traverse City in the fall, it really gets going and they are so so good.  Real treasure indeed, and creating is so important to me personally and to mankind.  I have to stay balanced in my speech because your talking about deep shit here so I need to be concise.

Do I have any ideas for blockchain?  Sure, most of them are not mine, idea's of other brilliant creators that I agree with, like Andreas Antonopoulos.  Do one for music publishing and royalties distribution.  End ASCAP and BMI because they are both centralized money collection service's for song writers and musicians.

BlockCAP - For Composers, Authors and Publishers

Im also interested in anything relating to distributed file systems and network file systems. Maybe a place where any drives running any of the existing file systems (FAT, FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, HFS and HFS+, HPFS, APFS, UFS, ext2, ext3, ext4, XFS, btrfs, ISO 9660, Files-11, Veritas File System, VMFS, ZFS, ReiserFS and UDF)  could easily link into one file system that "reads" or interlinks them all, for secure transfer, storage, backup and remote access from any OS. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clustered_file_system#Distributed_file_systems

Blocksys (BlockNOS) - Network file system used to migrate files from all current file systems.  *Quick link from NTFS to HFS+/APFS

Both of those are original idea's Wink

Some really awesome idea's in there.

all society's globally don't just unite, there must be incentive plus a uniting force.
A crisis is needed.

We don`t need society`s to unite, we need people on this network to unite not the governments.
Also a Crisis is not needed, We are already in one.

Your right, we don't need it, but expecting all these guys to come together under the same vision may be an expectation that was set to high by you.  Remember incentive, Satoshi did.

A crisis is needed for change, you see what most don't, you know its a crisis now, most don't.  Most people will only know its a crisis once it directly affects their daily lives, then and only then, will we see anything change.   That's what i meant by smell smoke, they cant just see fire, it has to be at their door step to cause change.

Ask the people of LA and Ventura county.  They didn't evacuate when they first heard about the fires, they evacuated when they watched the Santa Ana winds whip up hell on earth.  Then it was real.

I think your post is valuable to the community, i'm not sure why a discussion hasn't started yet.  Your way of thinking is next level block (everything).  I wont need to question the legitimacy of anything in your world, I can just quickly verify its authenticity.    Your talking about eradicating some of the greatest strongholds mankind has ever faced.   Salute.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2.0 Attention all Alt coin devs UNITE on: May 09, 2019, 08:20:59 PM
Some really awesome idea's in there.

Have you looked into what it would take to start implementing some of your ideas?    To be blunt, all society's globally don't just unite, there must be incentive plus a uniting force.  I know your thinking, how much more incentive do they need with the state of the current system?   Even Satoshi knew we needed incentive or we wouldn't have even cared about bitcoin.

The common man still doesn't care about much more than what he has to face in reality each day, and the people will not unite until they smell the smoke and see the orange glow on the horizon and they will shout, wait, stop, we didn't want this! We need to fix it!

We need a uniting force to change, we resist change at all costs while advocating we are of sound mind of judgement.    A crisis is needed.

Everything before this, very fascinating, i'm intrigued.   This, a fun fantasy.  No one ever planted a tree in a suit and tie, just held some dirt on the end and smiled for the camera's.

how about this, we take all the world leaders and me, put us in a arena. throw weapons all around the arena, If I win, we go with this idea.

I am not to worried about trump, or trudeau, or putin, none of them will stand a chance even if they all teamed up on me at the same time.

If I win we our granted our freedom.

What Fanatic said, exhaust all of it.  Any space those are in should have either free and open space for heat to escape or negative pressure generated by a big ass exhaust fan.

"Tesla Batteries" could pertain to a variety of differently spec Lithium Ion cells, most likely your referencing the 18650

DT,
it started off intriguing and interesting but then you lost me, your just rambling, copy and pasting and quite honestly your reaching and grasping at any hope that someone here will believe your story.   You understand your words are meaningless here DT?   Im embarrassed for you and anyone else who would come to this forum claiming to have received the 2nd bitcoin Tx ever, WITHOUT ANY PROOF!   You say your here to tell the truth, but your truth will always be only your truth because this forum will never believe you without proof.

I still own all my computers and hard drives from the early 2000s DT and you seem to have an excuse for everything, including why you don't have the private key.   If you want your truth to be this forums truth then shut up and get your ass on a plane to wherever you left your computer and prove what your saying.  I wont be responding to any of your reply's until you provide real evidence, until then, your just another person demanding you know who SN is.

I have a question for James if he is still here, I fear he fled for reasons that are clear.

@jabowery  Hi James, you have already publicly denied being Satoshi Nakamoto and I believe the community acknowledges you made that statement, even though DT did not.

Do you remember sending 10 BTC to Craig around the date of January 12th 2009, as he claims?

19  Other / Archival / Re: Jordan Peterson BTC Donations on: February 01, 2019, 10:09:54 PM
Most of you guys really have no idea who he is.   No idea how he has changed so many peoples life's (including mine) and influenced true good in this world.   Dr. Peterson being involved in bitcoin is good for bitcoin and crypto, lopsided win for us, not the other way around.  He deserves 100 BTC and i hope he gets them.  We should influence him to spend them as BTC though and not exchange for CAD or USD.
