1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge potential earnings in bitcoin, still not interesting for others on: June 05, 2018, 12:10:52 PM
As i began my journey through the world of cryptocurrency, it comes to my mind why other people are just ignoring the opportunities that bitcoin gives..

Can you give me some reasons why it's not that interesting for others?
There might be numerous reasons as to why people are not interested with bitcoin's huge potential earnings. A reason might be because they are afraid that bitcoin might be a scam. Another reason is because they are afraid of the risks and drawbacks that come with the huge potential profits in the bitcoin industry. And lastly, they wanted to invest on much more established investment firms.
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin on: June 05, 2018, 12:04:58 PM

Blockchain Technology was driven to fame by its application on Bitcoin Gold due to its encryption that has been considered hacker proof. Bitcoin has been used as a reference to its success, providing a secure network for users.

The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?
Blockchain is a versatile technology. The security it provides could be used to any type of technology out there that needs security. Most especially social media sites and even on the banking industry. It would improve the existing securities of the said objects. That is why blockchain could survive without bitcoin and vice versa. Bitcoin itself is a very secure cryptocurrency.
1003  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where does bitcoin end up this year on: June 04, 2018, 01:56:48 PM
Bitcoin is starting to climb up again. Where do you think think does it end up by the end of the quarter or eventually by the end of 2018.
As of now? I'm seeing bitcoin to be a great and still dominant cryptocurrency. I think its either will go down below a $10000 or will be higher than last years blast which is $20000, i don't really think it can reach $50000 now although it could but if you look at the market right now ? the media broadcasting false news ? I think not.
1004  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippines to develop rules on cryptocurrency trading? on: June 04, 2018, 11:50:09 AM
For sure, it is a good move. Money laundering is still a crime kahit ano pang paggamitan mo.

Security measure dn parang sa mga stocks ng companies. Kailangan maging regulated, hindi dahil pinagbabawalan kundi may nakikita silang potential sa crypto market as it is.

Threat? No I dont think it will be a threat. Magandang bagay sumunod tayo sa ibang countries about this.
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 03, 2018, 12:32:22 PM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I think it is because it has a high volatility so bitcoin as a payment would be less effective. Imagine if bitcoin is used mainly as currency everything should be adjusted every hour or span of time to update the prices and value. It would be very confusing specially to users and investors so they are taking bitcoin as an speculative asset obviously to have profits.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: April 27, 2018, 11:44:46 PM
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Didn't we had enough of this?
Even though ethereum fails a lot of times. It have huge comebacks in its history in the market. That's why it is unarguably one of the biggest major altcoins in the market. It has the same flexibility rate as bitcoin so you could ensure that even when prices are low, you could expect an increase in the coming future weeks or months. I hope this clears up some misconceptions.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: April 25, 2018, 08:16:00 PM
Bounty or Airdrop? what is the most easiest way to earn tokens?
I believe bounties are a but at a vetter spit than airdrops are right now. Which is clear wgen you consider how congested tge airdrop community is right now compared tp bounty campaign community. Moreover, the compensation you get from airdrop is too low compared to bounties that sometimes even give bonuses, which seldom to never happens in ICOs advertising through airdrop.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should now sell coin or not on: April 23, 2018, 11:31:09 AM
you guys give me an idea with me keeping my XLM free I'm puzzled Huh Huh Huh Huh
don't sell the coins you invested in just yet just because the price is at a very depressing state in the past few months. As you can see right now the dips are starting to fade and these coins that are afflicted in the past month were now gaining value and is recovering from the decreases it has received. So don't sell right away. Wait for the coin to rise nb value then sell.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: April 23, 2018, 10:07:50 AM
Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
What you're doing is great for a beginner I must say. Now what you should do to become a successful investors are as follows. You should not cash-out when the price is at a decline. This will endanger your cryptocurrency profit. And the coin you are investing on as well. Moreover, you should also study the market and read cryptocurrency news fron reliable sources to be able to gain valuable information which you can later on use.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good amount to invest? on: April 21, 2018, 06:03:07 PM
For me, there is no right or optimal ampunt to invest on cryotocurrencies. Just as long as you are not financially hurt by investing your wealth on the cryptocurrency you aimed to invest on and you are not in danger of getting homeless or poor in case your investment fails for a few months. There is no suggested amount. Just the amount you are willing and are able to invest to.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in altcoin still worth? on: April 21, 2018, 04:38:51 PM
Of course it is still viable to invest on altcoins eben with the curewnt massive increase on bitcoin's value. There are a lor of ubdervalyed coins out there that requure crowdfunding abd will be a waste if  we don't fund these ICOs, because a lot if them offer huge and ambitious yet possible and promising projects that are powered by a respectable team of dedicated members. I hope people will see through this and use altcoins as a mode of investment as well.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: April 20, 2018, 11:55:50 PM
If you are planning to gain more money from tge tokens you have earned working in a bpuntt program for a certain ICO, then you shpuld hold or trade the coins you have earned. Otherwise, if you are afraid that your hard-earned coins would drop when you need it the most, tgen sell it right away after you have earned your coins. This would ensure you earn the maximum profit as much as possible either way.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: April 20, 2018, 10:06:56 PM
Of course it is. Even if Ethereum drops in value it is still okay to invest on it. This is what we call dip buying in the cryptocurrency invesmtent where we buy more when the price is low because ut's easier to buy a whole coin when the price is droppimg instead of when the price is constantly rising. This is what kind of happened a few weeks ago and here is tge result, ethereum recovered drom its prixe losses.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Altcoin? on: April 18, 2018, 02:52:27 PM
A lot of people are starting to gaim trust and interest over altcoin and altcoin investment as well. A way of these investors to ensure and secure the value of certain altcoins they are rooting on is by pumping money on the project and waiting for the coin or token to be crowdfunded eventually leading them to profits on the investment. This is the reason why a lot of investors on certain altcoins buy coins and hold them.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: April 18, 2018, 11:34:00 AM
The reason I invested on cryptocurrencies are the fact that the value of a lot of cryptocurrencies in the market are very profitable at the moment. Which makes them very good ways of earning more money. Apart from this, the fact that the technology behind bitcoin and a lot of cryptocurrencies out there are very revolutionary and in turn will be very relevant to the future scenario of the currency world.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think this year 1 eth will peak at $ 2000 on: April 17, 2018, 12:45:23 PM
We can't really tell whether this is gonna happen anytime soon but it is nonetheless possible. When considering the  ever-growing community and number of  investors in the cryptocurrency scene, we could clearly tell that there is a very bright future for all cryptocurrencies. That is if the support and funding bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies receives remains continuous all through the years.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH also a bubble like bitcoin? on: April 16, 2018, 03:11:23 PM
Ethereum and bitcoin is not a bubble like a lot of you bad investors think it is. Just because a product drops in value every now and then doesn't mean that it is not a good investment method anymore. The value may drop but that doesn't mean bitcoin itself will die immediately. The reason for huge drops on bitcoin's value are the people who immediately cashed-out during last year's all-time high. Hope this comment clarified your thoughts.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins are worth buying NOW on: April 16, 2018, 02:06:21 PM
I would say that if you want to invest on the cryptocurrencies that are well-crowdfunded, then Ethereum and Litecoin is the right altcoin for you. The crowdfunding on these cryptocurrencies are quite high when compared to any existing altcoin. But there are a lot of ICOs out there that offers tokens and altcoins with promising projects powered by a very good team and a lot of them are still cheap at this point. I suggest you seize this opportunity.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: April 15, 2018, 02:41:54 AM
IN this type of investment there is no ideal number of how much you should put on to be able to  profit effectively. But I do suggest that you should invest the amount that wouldn't hurt your finances so when price drops came in, which I should tell you always come in this industry, you wouldn't suffer huge financial losses and you still could sustain yourself nonetheless.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025? on: April 14, 2018, 01:44:56 AM
This is a good sign of the implementation of bitcoin as a currency globally. Since as we all know, a lot of cryptocurrencies present right now weren't intended to be investmebts but instead was designed to become decentralized internet currencies thaf could be used. I just this comes sooner but nevertheless this marks a nearing success for cryptocurrencies as a whole.
