Well, I hate those types of question (Ethereum or Bitcoin, Gold or Bitcoin, Fiat or crypto), you must develop your question. Otherwise, it is certain that Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best profitable cryptocurrencies in the whole market in terms of every characteristic and advantage, Like, Volume, Price, Market Cap, and even their users, and everyone who want an ensured profit has to choose these two currencies their only way is to choose these two currencies for holding and investing especially in a long term (more than 5 months) because there is a big drop during this period.
In fact, I am pretty sure that those best crypto will have a brillant future especially when we will se the recognition of the governments, and this is expected to happen and maybe after a few years.

For me, the big issue in the majority of people (especially traders) is searching for everything in an easy way (large gain, Comfortable job... and other things) unfortunately this is the weak point of many people and the scammers exploit it and by easily deceiving people, they can earn a large percentage of money. I hope that everyone will avoid that issue (easy profit), and even the greed which always leads to losses and bad consequences.

In addition to that, I am always staying away from telegram groups which are related to trading (tips) and even the social media (Facebook, Twitter..). Furthermore, If you want to achieve your goal, then you must make a great effort, feed your mind with something useful, and help yourself with your own self.

Well, I think that there are two categories of profitable investment and they will be as the following:
First category (Acceptable profit at all times), investing is cryptocurrency who exist on the TOP 10 and they have many characteristics such as, Big value of Market cap (more than 10 Billion Dollars) and the huge value of Pirce, and it is certain that the best coin in this category is Bitcoin , Ethereum and Litecoin.

Second category (Huge gain in a long term), choosing the digital coins who have an acceptable value of Market cap (more than 2 Billion Dollars) and a weak value of Price (less than $ 2) through investing with a large proportion of money in them, and the best example of that is Ripple (XRP), Tron and Cardano.

In my opinion, patience is the key of a large profit in cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin, and despite this long period of decline but it is sure that this bad development is temporary  and after a few months ( 1-3 )  Bitcoin  will certainly rise to the moon and why not we will see more than 15K as  a price within this year ( maybe at the end of this year ).
As a matter of fact,  I think that the main cause of this big issue in the market is the manipulation and the game of the whales, and it is unfortunate that they control the whole market in order to achieve their goals especially in a long term ( Big profit )  .

Honestly, maybe this is one of the best opportunity to buy cryptocurrencies because the market in a total decline, and the current price of Bitcoin is less than $ 6400. Plus, who wants a large profit in the future, he/she must take advantage of this big drop in a smart way and without rashness, and it will be through choosing the appropriate coins to a an acceptable gain especially in a long term due to it is very difficult that this collective crisis will end soon.

n the other hand, I think the best cryptocurrencies to buy during this period are who exist in the Top ranks on the market, and it is certainly the better examples of that is the king bitcoin and Ethereum because the profit in them is guaranteed, especially in a middle term, and if you are patient then you must buy a large amount of Ripple (XRP) due to this currency has many characteristics (like, the high value of market cap) and it is certainly appropriate to huge profit in the long term (more than year). 

In general, it is true that there are many fields of cryptocurrencies but everything is related to what you want exactly (goal), for example, if you have enough time, then you can start the field of trading, especially when you have an acceptable knowledge in crypocurrencies or the market and it is sure that trading is a good choice in order to earn a big profit of money particularly when you behave well. In fact, the selection of investment, buying, selling and even holding, is dependent on how to deal with every new event with a smart way.

Absolutely yes, we must stay away from the media (and not even hear or see it), because there only goal is manipulate the users of cryptocurrency through some fake/false news, information, predictions, and all that in order to achieve the interests of the whales and the governments. Furthermore, I think the only category who know what will happen in the future are the whales (who have a huge amount of cryptocuurencies especially Bitcoin) and they can even PUMP the market in an easy way if they want that.

In my opinion, we cannot predict what will happen exactly in the future because there are always unexpected events. Plus, the era of cryptocurrency has become very important in period, despite that rejection of many governments, especially for Bitcoin and their bad attempts to destroy it, but there is an acceptable development because some countries have become dependent on cryptocurrencies especially for blockchain technology.
As a matter of fact, I think that after a few years, most of the governments will recognize the digital currencies, and when this prediction will be achieved, then we will see the total success of cryptourrency.

Actually, I hate the airdrops because  many people  are easily fooled through their  high fake  value,  and due to the majority of people are very greedy, so they lose a alawys their money  because of  those  scammers and cheaters. We must be careful guys before choosing the right ICO for Airdrops.   
Unfortunately, the scammers are everywhere in many fields, and their number in increase over time. So when you do not have any knowledge in the field if ICO then there is a great possibility that you will be fooled by the scam ICO's . Furthermore,  I saw that many people want to earn a large porportion of money in an easy way and the best example of that is the Airdrop , that is the issue.
Believe me , you cannot  be rich without a big effort in any field. 

Well, do not start in that field without good knowledge in the basics of digital currencies (Altcoins). Furthermore, I think you must learn how to read the analysis in a smart way, and I advise you to choose some useful books because they can certainly help you to learn and understand many things related to cryptocurrencies.

In fact, you must avoid and get away from the media because they always manipulate the beginners of traders through many fake information and news, o do not believe them and try to help you with your own experience and trust me, no one in your place.
Moreover, I think the best first decision for you in that field is starting with a low budget because possibly you will lose a big amount of money in the beginnings, and believe me, through the failed experiences, you can learn well the crypto, and with them you will earn a good amount of money in the next attempts.

Well, this is a risky and hasty decision for you (OP ), because the profit in altcoins is not ensured like Bitcoin, and due to there is a ton of shitcoins on the market, then it is hard to achieve what you want (Big financial profit )  through those coins. IMO I advise you keep the majority of your budget in BItcoin ( 70%)  and the other value (30% ) in the other best cryptocurrnecy ( who exist on the TOP 20 ) and of course the best examples of that is Ethereum, Ripple, Cardano, Litecoin and Tron .


In addition to that, you must understand that Bitcoin is the future of cryptocurrency (not the Altcoins), and the other crypto are just the followers of the king BTC in every evolution. Furthermore, believe me dude, if you stay hasty in taking decisions, then there is a great possibility that you will lose all your money. Use your mind.

In general, I think that one strategy in trading is not enough in order to  guarantee  an acceptable gain. Plus, IMO the best thing is how to deal with every new event with a smart decision and not hasty( such as, this drop during this period ). I disagree with a category of people who think that trading is an easy way to earn a lot of money.
On the other hand, I guess that the best strategy in this  difficult period is holding the majority of your budget in Bitcoin, or you must take advantage of this opportunity through buying and investing a large proportion of money in that currency.   

In general, I do not think that this long term of crisis will end soon, due there are many problems which hinder the advance of Bitcoin, like the attempts of governments in order to achieve the disappearance of BTC and cryptocurrencies  on the market and the manipulation of the whales. Furthermore, I expect that this big drop will continue in a  few months ( 1-3 ) and in that period maybe we will see a little pump ( $ 8000K ).

As a matter of fact, it is unfortunate that this is a the worst year for Bitcoin in bad developments and statistics, but despite of everything, I think that the king Bitcoin will back stronger than before and their price will rise after a few weeks in a quick way. and I am pretty sure that at the end this year, the price of Bitcoin will reach between 20K and 30K.

Well, it is not good to live always in the imagination (illusion) OP, it is true that Bitcoin is one of the best profitable currencies in the whole market, but regrettably, there are many attacks and they always lead to a significant devaluation of this currency and the main reason for this bad consequence (big drop) are the big governments, and the best example of that is what happened in the beginning of this year until now (crisis).

On the other hand, I think that 40K as  a price of Bitcoin, maybe will happen when the governments will recognize it as a legal and single currency in the world, it is difficult that this prediction will happen, but in the era of Bitcoin there are always unexpected events. So everything is possible.

In my opinion, the countries ( governments ) are who control the financial of transaction through the FIAT ( like, Euro, Dollars, Yen..), Unfortunately, there is always a large value of taxes  and  this is certainly an exploitation of users, that's why many people choose Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, because that era has many characteristics, and due the governments cannot control the transaction of digital currencies and they cannot even benefit from them, so their only way for them is the non-recognition  of crytocurrencies through collective ban by the social media ( Facebook, Twitter .. ) and their bad attempts in order to destroy Bitcoin.
Plus, I expect that in the near there will be a total recognition of Bitcoin  as a legal currency in the majority of countries, and what that will be achieved , then it is sure that the era of cryptocurrency will develop in a good way.

Well, it is true that there are many shitcoins and scam ones  in the market but I saw a great proportion of  good projects  of some Tokens/Altcoins and it is certain that who exist on the Top ranks are profitable and valuable like, Ethereum, Litecoin, Neo, Tron.. And IMO IOST token ( Ranked 58th )    is one of best project which is related to Blockchain, and despite that their price has decreased with a big value ( like, the majority of cryptocurrencies ), so this is an appropriate opportunity to buy or invest a large amount in this currency, because there a huge possibility that IOST will rise in quick way after this crisis especially when Bitcoin will back to the rise.

Honestly, I think that there are many problems led to this big crisis in the whole market and due to Bitcoin in a total decline, so the majority of cryptocurrencies or followers are related or linked to that coin  in every development , so they are in a big drop too. Furthermore, I think there are two main reasons for this collective  falling.

Firstly, the manipulation of the capitalists or whales (who have a big amount of Bitcoin and the other best cryptocurrencies like, Ethereum, Ripple, Tron.. ) in the whole market, and they even control the media through giving some fake expectations and information in order to affect on the users of cryptocurrencies especially the beginners.

Secondly, the bad attempts, or attacks of the governments on the cryptocurrencies through collective ban in many countries, and unfortunately, their only goal is destroying Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because simply, the development of Bitcoin lead to financial losses in many countries biggest victim is Banks (FIAT) but I think that they cannot achieve their goals because the era of cryptocurrency is very secure. and it is certain the governments cannot control the transactions of money, that's why they afraid of Bitcoin and even do not want to recognize it as legal currency.

Well, I agree with you OP in many tips or strategies, and everyone (especially beginners) must also avoid the idea that trading is an easy field in order to get a large proportion of money in a simple way. Furthermore, it is necessary to learn the basics of trading before starting on it, because if you rush then there is a big possibility that you will lose the majority of your money.

In fact, everyone must have many strategies in every situation (bad and good) due to there always unexpected events (like, the big drop in this difficult period), so you must deal with them in a smart way.
As a matter of fact, IMO the risk is essential in trading and without it you cannot gain what you want (large financial profit), and patience is one of key of success in that field.

On the other hand, it is true that we cannot know what will happen in the future, especially in a long term (like, 2025), and possibly, this future strategy of UK governments is a game from the media (fake news) in order to achieve the goals of the whales (who control the media). and IMO we must avoid always some news of the media because they always want to manipulate the users of crypto through some false predictions.
