Honestly, I think there are a huge number of cryptocurrencies with a weaker price ( less than $ 2 ) . For me, the majority  of them are unprofitable. So you should think carefully and research before buying any currency and be careful about the scam's.
Furthermore, the characteristics of a profitable currency in a long term , will be as the following:
Low price and an acceptable value of market cap like, Ripple (XRP), Market cap : more than 34 Billion dollars, Price : less than $ 1 .
it will be on the TOP 20( like, Tron, Cardano, Tether, IOTA ..)
It is better  to have  a high value of  volume (more than 100 Million dollars) .

In general, the main reason for deleting topics ( threads ) is the spread of spammers in many sections, especially Bitcoin Discussion and trading, and this is a good step for moderators,  also they  give a great effort to reduce this issue.

Do not post in a thread who has 2-3 pages of  the same shit replies,  because it will be deleted  by mods after a while .

Unfortunately, people (gamblers) consider gambling as a full job and this is a wrong belief and the truth that this field is just for fun. Furthermore, the fact that gambling portrayed negatively through the most of the people, because they became addictive due to use this field in a bad way. And they cannot even control themselves, especially in every great loss.

In fact, I think  the big issue in the mind of people. For example, Why people cannot quit gambling?

For me, the financial quantity is not important when do not behave well in different situations, you may lose a large proportion of money  because of your bad choices, and you can earn a huge amount of money despite that  you initially started with a small  financial proportion . So the most essential thing is the quality not quantity.

On the other hand, if you are beginner in this field, and even before the financial ,you must first learn how to behave in the market,  and  you should read and understand the analyzes. And do not rush to begin in trading without any knowledge.

In general, I disagree with you. The governments control everything (inside their countries) and even if they do not recognize Bitcoin, it does not mean that they will not tax their users, there is always exploitation. Their goal is to profit from every financial transaction, that's the issue.

In my opinion, if bitcoin has risen to more than 10K , then I am pretty sure that the market in recovery , because when that happens, all currencies will go up with an acceptable value, they are the followers of bitcoin in every development. Also  I do not think that this small jump in the majority of cryptocurrencies  is a  joke.

Furthermore, I think this current jump in the whole  market  is very important to avoid or  get away a bit from the  previous crisis ( big drop ).
