Testnet live on powermining.pw. stratum+tcp://pool.powermining.pw:9980. You can use "donate" as user name to test, or create a testnet wallet. Example:
Code:
t-rex.exe -a x25x -o stratum+tcp://pool.powermining.pw:9980 -u donate -p x

Mine SIN @ Powermining.pw from block 170.000
~31.05.2019

Only .8% Fees when mining SIN on Powermining.pw
European Based, with stable connection and DDoS protection.
Payouts every 3 hours for balances above 0.001

Few mining softwares have developed support for x25x hashing algorithm, among them we recommend these;

T-Rex(nvidia) https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/releases:
Code:
t-rex.exe -a x25x -o stratum+tcp://pool.powermining.pw:3937 -u WALLET ADDRESS -p x

Wildrig Multi(amd) https://github.com/andru-kun/wildrig-multi/releases:
Code:
wildrig.exe -a x16s -o stratum+tcp://pool.powermining.pw:3937 -u WALLET ADDRESS -p x

Tips:
- If you need separate workers to identify, you can add <.WORKERNAME> to your username.

OC only works on the Giant B with this mod.

AAmmmm.... no. I think you should read the thread right times.  Cheesy

OK guys. Realy good news. After hours....and hours....and hours..... I can confirm OC at BK-X  Grin Grin Grin

A big thanks to cod3gen and toby32c. You've done an awesome job.

Like tboy32c says, does not mather what you change on definitions in code, the hashrate output is only "static"/estimated value based on compiled clock speed.

If I may ask, how did you change the STM32 firmware?

That would also interest me very much.

Hi cod3gen,

in the file "algorithm.c" there is a mistake. Canīt create the sgminer file.
Line >>>1607 and 1611<<< there is a double.

And in file "driver-baikal.h" line >>>56<<< is missing a ")"
After fix that, it works and create the sgminer file.

Goes on  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed..... sgminer does not work .... after 2-3 sec the miner always crashes.

best regards

Updated. Feel free to apply fixes and create pull requests.

Nice work! How long have you guys had these running?  Grin
Personally since about May, on a single hash board. At that time I needed to transition to another unrelated project and promptly forgot all about crypto for a few months. flexmeister wasn't the collaborator I was originally referring to and I'm guessing only for a few days for them since their solution seems to use the same firmware & sgminer that I posted, if I'm not mistaken. Here's a screenshot of the Groestlcoin network hash rate around that time:

Sure thing: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1c6klf2gfuawZqOiOC7cHuWijc_iUxqXc . I apologize for not having the time to do this earlier.

Too bad you did not share....  Cheesy Grin

Greetings,

After about a month of trial and error every day have finally managed to get the X10/BK28 to mine MBC.

Nice work! How long have you guys had these running?  Grin

tboy32c; Didn't get Skein2 to work.. Groestlcoin works. This firmware, and or software makes the miner a lot slower, roughly it mines at 7-8 Gh/s on pool side. +10 Merit!

flexmeister; Didn't even bother to check if it works or not. Too high fees.

Not to be an asshole, but i have done a lot of work on making Baikals sgminer open source. Make sure to post link to your github or any other that includes any of the source code with changes that where orginally provided by me. This is licenced under GPL3.

Nice.. This one sounds really interesting. Great efficiency!  You located in US right? Would anyone ordering from Europe be affected by the recent export taxes?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: October 07, 2018, 07:22:05 AM
So when they ship this units do they ship to your house or do you have to go pick it up somewhere? What's the process?

I guess that would depend on your location, but i have always got my miners directly to my door.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: October 06, 2018, 05:38:03 PM
here is my feedback.

got the miner 3 days ago

to make it go online had to change the ip to .10 instead of .100 and put manually DNS server name

then tried different pools. nicehash, MPH, powermining. all same performance, 1 board not hashing fine.

changing frequency doesn't seem to do a big deal, with 900 one board stays dead all the time, with 800 dies after a while.

sent message to crypto drilling (shop I bought) and told me to freq 845 (which I can only put 850)

waiting for their technical team to reply..

this is my configuration

any feedback or suggestion, very welcome

The Z1's seems to send a lot of stale shares(these are being shown as rejects on powermining pool, and seems to be doing the same on nicehash i see). That is software related issue, so i hope they will supply an update soon to fix this.

Hard to see your image https://www.screencast.com/t/8cvezEcAnD, but seems like lots of chips that does not work? If so, try to reduce frequency slightly.. You won`t get advertised hashrate, but maybe some more than now if those chips becomes active again. You would probably have to return the faulty hashing board

Just received the Z1. Got it connected to network. Put the IP4 to static.

Tried to setup with different pools. But no luck, it stays offline.

When I go to Dashboard Widget, it says - THE MINER MAY NOT BOOT.

Anyone has an idea how to fix this?

Hi to all of you guys in this my first message on the forum and sorry for my bad English,

Well, I'm thinking about to buy the Zig Z1 but I'm very afraid of scams and I don't know this miner manofacturer and don't know anyone ho has one. Please, could you give me some information? anyone has bought one? in what store? Any problems with the miner, good or bad quality?

Thanks!!!

We have multiple on our pool, so they do exist atleast. Here are one of the stores they are available at: https://asicminermarket.com/product/28nm-lyra2rev2-asic-miner-dayun-zig-z1-ship-now/
I have always received my products with asicminermarket, but they're customer support is rather terrible or almost none existing, so if you find other trust-able stores you should choose them.

I have some dayun zig z1's coming soon and I'm gong to pair it with Bitmain APW3++ PSUs. My first time using ASICs but the label on the PSU looks like this:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IRWfMKgP_t-aeW4Mk_T4jNyGnMnQFCMf?usp=sharing

I live in the USA so I have 120VAC outlets. Bitmain's site says it can switch to 120VAC and I also see products with the label stating 120VAC but this one doesn't. Should I stay away from this? Also, the miners work on 120VAC outlets right?

If i remember correctly, APW3++ is capable of delivering ~1200w on 110VAC, so you are cutting it really close since the Dayun Zig Z1 requires about 1200 watts. If APW3 output voltage drops a bit your miner may get unstable so i recommend that you monitor it carefully the first hours.. Oh, and when you get your miners, come joins us at powermining.pw  Grin

Hey, so I just got one of these this afternoon from my Chinese supplier (pretty good price too) but it is LOUD.  I am trying to figure our how to edit the config file to set the fan at 65% since it was only running at about 36 degrees until I can build an enclosure for it.  There appear to be 2 separate files, and I am not sure which I shuold try and change, or HOW to change it.  Any help is appreciated.

Miner.json (importable)

cgminer.config

Anyone know what command line I use?

Currently I see this in the Miner.json:
"stop_lower_fanspeed_in":"100","stop_lower_fanspeed_out":"100"

but have no idea if I just edit that, or something else

Have not seen this kind of settings before, have you tried to adjust both of these to 65%?
Quote
"stop_lower_fanspeed_in":"100","stop_lower_fanspeed_out":"100"

I was trying to look at cgminer commands generally to see if I could add a command, something similar to

Here is what appears in the JSON file.  I am assuming that what that means is that the intake fane is the "in" and the exhaust is the "out".  I am just not familiar with these commands.  Unfortunately I have to wait because I am short a PSU... I have a 1200W platinum HP PSU, with 8 6 pin connectors, and I need 9...  I am sure I could just not run 1 hash board but I have never done that and have some concerns that it would may cause an issue...Thoughts?

lyra2rev2-cutofffanspeedin": "100", "lyra2rev2-cutofffanspeedout": "100",

Sure you can disable one of the hashboard by leaving it disconnected. Disconnect the cable between hashboard and controller board too.

Are you finding both this: lyra2rev2-cutofffanspeedin": "100", "lyra2rev2-cutofffanspeedout": "100",
and this: "stop_lower_fanspeed_in":"100","stop_lower_fanspeed_out":"100"

Have you tried to replace them with;
lyra2rev2-cutofffanspeedin": "65", "lyra2rev2-cutofffanspeedout": "65",
and this: "stop_lower_fanspeed_in":"65","stop_lower_fanspeed_out":"65"
