901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to tell if a new coin is worth investing in! on: August 19, 2023, 06:49:53 AM
If a coin introduces a completely new technology that enables a different function and is sustainable in the long term, does it have the potential to be a worthwhile investment?
Yes it is.
The only question is, is there any project who did that? There might be some in the past though I can't say the projects because I forgot them.

I've seen projects in the past that offers a completely new technology, and it seems sustainable in the long run, but for whatever reason it is, it ends up as a failed project. Nowadays, a completely new concept is very rare already, and most of the new projects that are popping out of nowhere are just either a clone of an old project, or a project that integrates 2 use cases from 2 different old projects. I don't want to say that it's bad to copy, but that strategy will not be sustainable in the long run, and that's the reason why most of the projects are failing I think.

Anyway, to answer your question on how to tell a new coin if it's worth investing in, there's no way to know it since you don't know the future of every new project. What's certain is that most of the new projects are ending up as a scam whatever the concept is, so in short it's hard to know.

Yes, it's understandable.
Whether or not a project is worth investing in, apart from innovation and the need to verify that the technology can achieve its goals and is not just an empty dream!
A representative of a new project. Cheesy
Your username speaks on the project that you want to advertise here. I guess good luck with your new project. Hoping that your project will be a successful one, your project will be different from what we are seeing already, and you will not scam investors. Tongue
902  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a possibility to Fix Neutral Trust? on: August 19, 2023, 06:29:32 AM
You admitted that you used ChatLGBT. Ohhh I'm wrong it's ChatGPT my bad.
Can I ask you OP. What will be the benefits of you using ChatGPT in order to make posts here? Merits? Attention from other high-ranked members? So that you can get accepted from a signature campaign?

It doesn't make any sense as to why users need to use ChatGPT into their posts. Well, it's still good that you only get neutral trust with what you did because there's still no rules that's being created regarding users using AI with their posts, but I will not be surprised if our admins here will make a rule regarding that in the future since it's starting to be used by many here.

Being ignorant really is a bad thing, so change your habits OP, and learn. Your question is kind of wrong though because there's no other way to improve that neutral trust since you already did a mistake. It's like a lower level of plagiarism for me. I have neutral trust as well, but I don't care since I didn't get those for doing bad things or using ChatLGBT.
903  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Suggest for newbies investors! on: August 19, 2023, 06:16:50 AM
Here's an imaginary merit for you. Tongue

Don't invest early
This is a subjective one, and the result isn't always the same.

Sometimes, investing earlier than other investors can give more profit to them especially if they are lucky to invest their money into a new project that became successful. On the other hand, not investing early might prevent the investor from getting scammed because we know already that most of the new projects currently are mostly ending up as a scam or an abandoned coin. Either way, since I'm an investor who mostly invests my money into established coins already, I'm agreeing with this one since I'm a conservative type of investor. Cheesy

Do not trade to soon
Do not trade to soon? Can you please elaborate this.

I guess if you're pertaining to "Don't trade to soon, unless you have the knowledge already" then I guess I'll just agree with you because in trading, knowledge is a big factor. Aside from knowledge, experience really helps as well because there are some times where in order for you to make a better decision, you need to experience losing in trading. Just my opinion only though.

This is because you are new to the crypto market
I'm not new to the crypto market, and I know already how market moves. Tongue
904  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading signal channels can be quite clever, so exercise caution ! on: August 19, 2023, 05:33:31 AM
I also have a bad experience with regards to these trading signal channels back in 2018 I think or 2019.
I really didn't want to do it at first, but curiosity got me, and tried joining to a trading signal channels which I paid only 5$.

Their scheme is that, the one that I purchased is their level 1 trading signal channel meaning they will post the signal a few minutes late, and by the time we saw the signal there, the coin pumped many times already. We don't know this at first until we saw it first-hand that we are receiving the signal late until I stopped relying on that shitty trading channel, left on that Telegram channel, and just focused on learning in trading.

Is there anybody here who became successful, or at least earned huge profit just by following these trading signal channels? Because what I know is that these are just scam attempts to those who wants to earn in trading in a quick way. Either way, I already stopped trading for months, and I will never, ever try to join to these trading signal channels. I just want to know if there's anybody here who got profit because they followed paid trading signals.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 19, 2023, 04:44:10 AM
I don't what to speculate but it should be around the money I guess. Maybe he was promised to have a good money this season. But the owner turn his back on Harden.
Words are very powerful, and they should be honored. If James Harden is promised good money without conditions, then he is due for that. However, sometimes these businessmen are very clever; they tend to use their power to influence a player's decision but ultimately may not stand by their words. Nowadays, the system has already changed, as players can make demands. In the case of James Harden, being a superstar, I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing. He understands that he won't lose his job, even if the 76ers decide to trade him, which they have refused to do until now.
NBA = business. That's what these businessmen see the league right  now. On the other hand, there are these players who are acting like they're the boss of their own team, and demands a trade if they wanted to, or speak if they wanted to.

With regards to Harden, I guess the Sixers don't want to trade him anymore, or at least at the start of the season depending on how he will act at the start of the season until the mid-season. Harden already said that he will not play with the Sixers, and the team don't want to believe in him since he's on his last contract already. If Harden will not play, there's a high chance that his value will go down, and other teams will give him lower contract. I know that Harden is a superstar, but he's a player with lots of drama on his back, and his demand isn't as high as that of Durant, or even Irving or whatever superstar it is.

If there's any team that will be interested in him, it would be teams that's desperate of winning a title that what they only needs is a Point Guard who can run the team. Teams like the Lakers, and the Clippers are the 2 teams that I think he will be fit in, but between the 2, I would pick the Lakers. I mean AD, Lebron, and Harden with the same team is just a good team. The Lakers don't have a PG right now since they've traded Schroeder already. I guess if the Sixers will trade him mid-season, I just hope that he will go to the Lakers.
906  Economy / Speculation / Re: take advantage of opportunities on: August 18, 2023, 10:11:09 AM
~
Are you also taking advantage of this opportunity, friend?
No because unfortunately, I don't have spare money to be used in buying Bitcoin, but if I have, I will take the opportunity.

Anyway, this is just a small dip at least for me, and whatever the reason is, I just hope that those who had a Long trade in their futures are just OK right now because of what happened. For sure they're the ones that are having a hard time right now because they got liquidated. Anyway as for those scary people out there, I'm pretty sure all or most of them are newbies, and don't understand still how Bitcoin's price moves. Over time, they will learn it, and they will adjust from it that's for sure.

Golden opportunity? No I don't consider it as one because what I can consider as a golden opportunity was in 2022 where the market are just going down, and down. Now they are starting to go up, and up already.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SpaceX sold $373M worth Bitcoin, reason of current dump on: August 18, 2023, 09:16:07 AM

I will lean more to this chart of S&P 500 on the daily chart than SpaceX selling their Bitcoins (if they really did sell because some say they didn't).

We know that the price movement of Stock Market, and crypto are somewhat the same, and I believe that these is the reason why Bitcoin is going down during the last couple of days. Bitcoin is forming a falling wedge as well which is a bearish sign, and it did happen. I will not be surprised if Bitcoin will go lower than $25,000 this month knowing that Bitcoin really doesn't perform well in the month of August for the last 9 years or more. We'll see.

As for SpaceX selling, if they really did sell then I don't care. Cheesy
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 18, 2023, 09:00:20 AM
I agree, Sixers are not "that" far away from being a championship contender, they just needed to focus on making the team better and they could keep Harden that way. The problem is that Sixers told Harden to get a pay cut so they could get better players to surround him and Embiid in order to win a title, he agreed and then they got nobody. This is why there is a trouble and with Harden gone then why would Embiid stay. I am guessing that Harden will want out because he has been lied to, but if Sixers could manage to get some great players, then Harden could be turned to be happy, might be too late though. This is not a good idea for either side, nobody will get anything out of this.
They got Tucker with that pay cut that Harden did, and he did well at least as a role player. The problem is Harden himself because he choked at the time when the Sixers needed him the most, and that is Game 7 against the Celtics. He made the winning shot in Game 6, but was almost non-existent in Game 7. It wasn't Harden that's the problem at that time, but Harden himself. They've got good role players that season.

With regards to Embiid, he will stay for another season with the Sixers, and if there is still no development, or progress in terms of their performance in the playoffs, it's almost certain that he will request a trade to another team. Overall, Harden will play with the Sixers, and he must play or his value will go lower. "NO" teams want him anymore, and if there is, they probably are trying to negotiate with the Sixers already. I mean Harden is an all-star player, but his drama is too much to handle for the team, and it's much worse than Irving IMO. On the other hand, I will not be surprised if there will be teams that will be interested in Harden especially those championship caliber teams right now.

909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong way to accumulate. on: August 16, 2023, 02:13:35 PM
~
You also risk investing beyond what you can afford to lose which is not what any wise bitcoin investor would do. Bitcoin accumulation is not supposed to be a stressing and self-pressured process but some persons doing it in that way thinking they had arrived late to bitcoin and have to meet up, but that's all a fallacy. With bitcoin you're never late, you only arrived at your right time.

What are your own thoughts on wrong ways you think people follow in  bitcoin accumulation.
I think the problem with most of the investors right now is their way of thinking when it comes to investing into Bitcoin.

This isn't intended for newbies only, but there are some investors in general who are going all-in into crypto because they believe that they can earn money faster when they invest into crypto compare to other types of assets out there, so what they're doing is that they will invest a certain amount of money, and they will think that they need to maximize the profits thus, investing more and more money for maximum profit until it came to a point that they can't afford losing that money anymore. What's worse is that some of them are panicking when they saw their holdings going down even as low as 5% only or sometimes even double-digits. This types of decisions really ruins the investor. Investing what they can't afford to lose, and panicking when they saw their portfolio going down. Both of these are recipes for disaster for the investor.

Thoughts? I guess I already said it. What I will add up is that, having a strategy in accumulating always works 100% of the time. DCA or whatever strategy it is, you must have a strategy, and strictly follow that one. That also comes in selling, and not only in accumulating. You must have a strategy in accumulating, but at the same time, you must have a strategy in selling.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 16, 2023, 01:37:32 PM
I’m more 76ers updates from Philadelphia, James Harden is now saying he’s open to play for a different team than just the Clippers. He wants out…
The question right now is, is there any team that wants him?

It seems like GM Morey will call Harden's bluff, and will not trade him. On the other hand, it's Harden's last year of his contract, and after that he will be a free agent. If Harden will not play this season with the Sixers (if he will not get traded), his value will decrease for sure, and other teams will give him a smaller contract instead of his actual value. It's because he played awful, or didn't play well, so Harden has no choice but to play, or his career will be affected.

Now I'm thinking that there will be a team that's interested to get him. I just hope for that team to not give good players, or just give role players plus draft picks because this is Harden's last year of contract, and that team might end up with nothing just like the Mavericks did with Kyrie, but the good thing is Kyrie signed with the team which is good. The team that will be getting him might end up with nothing if Harden choose to play with another team again since he's a free agent. Either way, I'm leaning to the fact that Harden will be forced to play with Embiid, and the Sixers.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: August 15, 2023, 01:27:26 PM
~
It seems, this year will be full of memecoins. What do you think? Why memecoin launching is increasing so much in this year?
Maybe it's because they see that meme coins are the easiest way to earn profit?

I mean I don't know the exact reason as well because I don't invest into meme coins anymore, so I guess its' the profits that cause these investors invest into it, and since investors wanted to invest into projects that can give them huge profits in a short amount of time, developers are taking this opportunity, creating a meme coin even though it doesn't have any use case at all, launching it to the public, and hoping that their memecoin/sh*tcoin project become successful like PEPE.

With the hype of meme coins slowly going down, I will not be surprised if there will be few, and few meme coin projects that will be launched until the end of the year. Overall, ever since it's been  hyped a few years ago, I already said to myself that I will never, ever invest into meme coins with the exception of DOGE. To those newbie investors, just beware because these scammers are taking it as an opportunity to scam you. Don't be an ignorant investor, and learn to research first before investing.

Re: What are the cryptocurrencies worth investing by 2023?
Bitcoin no doubt. If you will go with altcoins, I always say Ethereum because out of all the altcoins out there, Ethereum is the safest to invest though I'm not saying that you can get guaranteed profits by investing into it.

3 Billion Supply, developer's pictures are just like AI generated logos. I guess these alone are already red flags (at least for me).

You will use our funds so that you can develop EV's? Why we need to invest into your project where in fact, there are many companies who are doing it already, and there might be some who already made some EV's. "Designed to be profitable". This phrase is almost the same as the word "guaranteed", and that word is what most of the scammers are using. What do you mean designed to be profitable? So there's no chance for an investor to lose their investment because it's programmed to be profitable for us investors? It's a red flag if my understanding is right. Can't even spell the word "Panel" correctly.

Newbie account, advertising a new project in their thread. I've seen this many times already, and all of them didn't even become successful.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Whitepaper just Buzz Word in Alt and Meme coins? on: August 15, 2023, 12:30:34 PM
~
Just wondering what is your take on it!
Whitepapers nowadays are just kind of useless already if you are a type of an investor who wants to invest in new projects.

I still remember back in 2017-2018 where investors like me uses Whitepaper as a factor whether we want to invest into a new project or not. Scammers took opportunity to it, copy and pasted some of the whitepapers, made some revisions, and put it into their own project until it came to a point where even though you've read a whitepaper that's very good, there's a chance that they will scam you, and I've seen this many times back when ICO's are very popular.

Right now in 2023, whitepapers are just a bunch of papers, or a bunch of text that is for me useless. I don't know what are the basis of these investors in which new projects should they invest since I'm more focused on established coins only. Maybe there are some investors who still reads the whitepaper of a particular project, and decide base on it, but if you're a bit conservative when it comes to investing like me, I'd rather lessen my stress, and just invest on established coins. Cheesy
914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a legit way of income for beginners or just a marketing tactic? on: August 15, 2023, 07:40:00 AM
Copy trading is legit, and many brokers, and exchanges are offering it. The first time that I heard this term is from eToro, and it seems good if you heard it for the first time especially if you lost huge amounts of money already in trading because you can just copy what those experts are doing, and you don't need to read the charts, or make some analysis because the experts will do it for you. Well, that's what you think at first, but it doesn't work that way "always".

Is it a legit source of income? Yes, but is it a reliable source of income? It's a NO because there's still a chance that you might lose money copy trading those experts. In the end, it's always good if you yourself know how to trade, and you can make more profit from it compare to just copy trading them. Is it a marketing tactic? Kind of because like I said, those who lost huge money in trading might see this as their way to make profit without doing too much analysis, and chart reading thus, they will register to that broker/exchange, deposit money, copy trade, and let the magic begins. Cheesy

TBH, I might try copy trading in the future. I will put a small portion of my money, and do copy trading for at least 6 months up to a year.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 15, 2023, 07:21:57 AM
Kawhi has always been one of the biggest "what ifs" in the history of NBA, of course there are a lot more as well and this isn't at the top for sure but he is a big one. This dude won 2 fmvp's and is not even considered remotely anywhere the top, not even in any top 10 topics ever, I am not saying that he is not in it, I am saying he is not even considered to be in it at all, ever.

How many other 2 time finals mvp's can you name that people wouldn't even consider a small slight chance of them being in top 10? Nobody. That dude spent 2 years as bringing championship to his team, and all rest of his career as spending time resting his injury. That's really not normal and should be considered a bit weird but unlucky at the same time.
The king of "Load Management".

That's what some people call him right now, and that's true. Ever since he went to the Clippers after winning a title with the Raptors, he's been doing this load management sh*t that ruins the whole team. What's worse is that, he only says that he will not play just minutes or hours before the game even starts. I mean like WTF!!. You're being paid, and you will choose whether you will play or not even though you can play?

Anyway with regards to him being considered in the top 10, he's easily on the top 10 on the list of current active players right now "IF" he's healthy. We already saw how good he is back when he was in the Raptors, and he won a title there. I mean with his skills on both offense, and defense, I can put him in the top 10 conversation no doubts. It's just that injuries really ruin one's career, and that includes him. We know his potential, and how good he is.

2 Finals MVP's don't matter if you play like that. Always getting injured, can't be a leader, always silent, and at the same time, don't know how to laugh Cheesy. Kidding aside, Kawhi no doubt is a top 10 player, and there was a time where even Lebron is afraid of him when Kawhi is in the court because of how good he is defensively. I already said the problem with him, and I hope there will be a cure with that one.
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on Weekly looks Dangerous on: August 14, 2023, 08:29:29 AM
What is the expectation now, we are still below $30,000, but the price is still resisting to reach above $31,000, which we can consider as the strongest resistance level before we reach $41,000 (which is an unexpected scenario based on current trading volumes)

Personally, I hope to see levels less than 25K in the coming weeks. I want to buy a little, and therefore buying at these levels is much better than 41k levels, so my hopes are different from what some people here want. Grin
Looking at the price trend now, it looks like Bitcoin is slowly getting its momentum and gaining more volume as day passed by.
We might not see Bitcoin at the price of $25k again as its able to hold to the support level of $29k. I expect a more bullish trend in the coming weeks.
Despite of the ghost Month, Bitcoin is able to survive the threat of a dump, we should continue to watch the price and decide what's the best for your strategy.

Yes. BTC must be out of the $ 30,000 price. On the other hand, if it fails, and breaks below $ 30,000, BTC will potentially weaken to the US $ 29,500 to $ 28,500 area which can also be considered the next entry area, and many experts estimate that Bitcoin prices will reach $ 33,000 at the end of this semester.

I think this is also very closely related to where there are still a number of potential issues that could hold Bitcoin prices down, such as fears of a potential increase in US interest rates, which are predicted to continue to rise until the end of the year.
$30,000 is acting again as our psychological support, and yes it needs to go above that price, and stay above it in order for Bitcoin to go even higher.
The question is what will be the catalyst to that because right now, we aren't hearing that much news with regards to Bitcoin, and the US Stock Market is on decline as well, and we know that these 2 are kind correlated with each other. Overall, there aren't news or anything right now that might cause the price of Bitcoin to go up.

We saw Bitcoin pumped a bit a few days ago, but is now slowly declining again. August is considered a Ghost Month by some people, so I guess we expect more of a sideways movement. The final 4 months will be the most exciting months. What I expect to happen in the next weeks? if there will be no news that might cause the price of Bitcoin to pump, we might see it's price decline gradually, but yeah I agree as well that the price of Bitcoin seems dangerous. Bitcoin to $16,000 again!!! Cheesy
917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: August 14, 2023, 08:14:52 AM
I am in crypto for a few years and i have good knowledge of the crypto markets and their behavior. For the past few years, I am mostly invested in some top crypto project and held it till I get decent profits. You can say i am a holder. Now i want to try something different. I want to try day trading methods to generate a daily income from the spot market.

Is that even possible to earn 50$-100$ every day with spot trading? If yes then what methods you are using and how do you manage your risk?
50$-100$ in spot trading? Yes, but I guess you need at least $10,000 or even more to achieve that. Do you have that amount? If yes then maybe try it.

I might not be a good trader, but profits in spot trading is very slow compare to futures trading. I mean if you really want to generate a "DAILY" income from trading then trading in futures is the way because you always have a chance to earn even higher than $100 as long as you have the money, you have the knowledge, and you have the courage because yes profits there are very easy especially if you did a good entry, but your chances of losing there is way higher than the spot market, and you might get liquidated easily by just entering at a wrong time, and not having a stop-loss.

Overall, that's achievable if you have the money, and the knowledge. If you want to go trade solely on spot then you need huge amount of money to achieve that daily profits. Good luck OP Smiley.
918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you use AI trading assisting tools? on: August 14, 2023, 07:53:33 AM
TBH, I'm one of the many traders out there who end up losing their money in trading.

Now with regards to AI assisting tools, I might give it a try, and if I see that I'm profiting while using it then why not. I mean it lessens your stress, it would be easier for you to trade because there is somebody that will help you. The question is, is there some AI tools out there who can assist those traders, and transform them from unprofitable traders to a profitable one? If there is, maybe you can share it here, so we can benefit from it. Cheesy

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure there are some that will say here that they don't need AI because they can be profitable in trading without using it. It's fine, and congratulations to you because you are profiting without the use of AI, but there are many including me who can't be. I don't know what's the problem within me, but AI certainly helps me with my trading decisions "IF THERE IS ONE." With AI growing, and evolving at such a rapid pace, I will not be surprised if there will be AI tools out there who can be better than trading bots that we are using right now, and just let them trade for you. I know it might sound impossible, but nobody foreshadowed a few years ago that a thing called "ChatGPT" will be created. Smiley
919  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should we see bitcoin as? on: August 14, 2023, 07:16:04 AM
Bitcoin the only decentralised cryptocurrency that is dependable and guaranteed return on investment which is undeniably the truth about it.
Guarantee? Most of the time, this term is being used by scammers who are luring newbies into their scam. Words like instant payout, guaranteed returns, quick withdraw etc. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like you are saying that Bitcoin can give you "GUARANTEED" returns, and the reality is it doesn't guarantee because there's always a chance that you will lose money investing into it. Don't mislead newbies here.

Bitcoin as a source of income or as an investment plan, which is better?
(It has many advantages and disadvantages, but advantages superceeds the disadvantages). Putting the disadvantages into consideration and as a person that want to lower their risk of loss, will bitcoin be suitable as a source of income (not fully, like part-time job), or investing fully in them and wait for a large profit since many users here in the forum foresee it that, at halving the price always go up above the current All time high.
Both.

I guess it will all depends on how you will use Bitcoin. There are some who are using Bitcoin as their source of income thru trading, and there are many who are successful into it. On the other hand, there are some like me who are just investing into Bitcoin, holding it, and wait for it's price to increase, and reach my target price then I will sell it.
920  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The things that improve a quality post on: August 14, 2023, 04:41:42 AM
Since I registered in the forum I observed one of the things that brings setback to the beginners like me, I will like us to look into this tips of mine I seen like some of the barriers that contributes not to have a quality post. I don't know if someone have outlined this tips before, but this is what I think that is beginners problem of not having / making a quality posts. For we to make a quality posts we have to consider the following.

● Sentence
● Spelling
● Research
● Environmental observations
● Arrangements
Why the need to share this in a longer form where you only needs to things in order for a user here to make a quality post.
Well, this might be my own opinion, but for me, the only things that you need in order to make a quality posts are "Having an idea on the topic where you are posting with." and "Punctuations".

You said research which is the same as the first one that I said, and I agree with that, but with the other 4, well they kind of needed, but not necessary. I mean spelling can be easily corrected because if you spelled it wrong, it will show red zigzag lines below it. As for the 3, it isn't a necessary that you know it, as long as you know what you are saying towards a particular topic, I guess you can make a "quality" post from it.

As for punctuations, for me it's a big factor especially the comma because that punctuation can change the idea behind a sentence. There was a time where I really need to study about punctuations because there are times where I'm wrong with it especially when I'm posting here. There might be times that I'm still wrong, but I can say that I'm better now in terms of using it.

Overall, as long as you know what you are saying, you are knowledgeable with it, you have idea on what you're saying then I guess you can make a quality post off of it. Of course punctuations matters still. Cheesy
