The problem is, that is the only reported placed in which the data leaks happen; but no one knows if that is the only place where they happen. By using Ubuntu, or any other distro that is based on it, you basically have to trust them that no more information about you is being collected and sent elsewhere. It depends, if we're talking about the real feminists, I would actually argue that pussy riot fall into that category, because all they were doing was fighting for free speech and basic rights like that which I can agree with Either you don't know much about the Pussy Riot, or you are having some real issues with yourself. Democracy is a terrible basis for a system of government.
I go out to dinner with 3 of my friends. At the end of the meal, the bill comes. I say "let's split this equally", another says "no, let's just pay for our own", and another says "why doesn't 5flags just pay for it all?" We discuss it, and take a vote. All three of my friends vote that I should pay the whole bill.
Does this create a right? Do my friends have the right to have their dinners paid for? Does it create an obligation? Do I have an obligation to pay the bill?
Most people would answer "no" to both those questions. Majority will creates neither rights, nor obligations.
