in fact aren't they guilty of a serious crime if they LEAVE ISLAM? If so how can someone say they are not Muslim.
I have said number of times there is no punishment if someone leave Islam in Islam. Are you sure? I'm no expert but punishment for leaving Islam seems to practiced and preached quite a bit though many liberal muslims obviously tend not to believe in it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostasy_in_IslamIt is Riddah. What I am saying is about leaving Islam. Riddah is a different thing than just leaving Islam. There are different punishments for Riddah but not death penalty AFAIK except maybe in newly created religion. in fact aren't they guilty of a serious crime if they LEAVE ISLAM? If so how can someone say they are not Muslim.

I'm no expert but punishment for leaving Islam seems to practiced and preached quite a bit though many liberal muslims obviously tend not to believe in it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostasy_in_IslamIt's probable there are vast differences in the practice of Islam in various areas. But that's all the more reason one should not attempt to speak "For All Islam." It is not various areas. After death of prophet, some people started to create new group-like which spread wrong beliefs and/or wrong rules such as Salafi, Mujahid Islam etc... Do you theists realize that you do more to disprove religion in your discourse than any atheist ever could? We proceed from logic. You deny it. If there were a god AND this god wanted to be worshipped, AND it was all powerful, there would be precisely how many religions and how much ambiguity and sectarianism?

lol no, whatever. These lists are secondary. I could make one about US soldiers but i wouldnt know where to start nor have the time to carry on such debate. These so called terrorist are as sheeps as US citizens soldiers are, believing whatever BS their leader tells them. One side believes bringing "democracy" and the other are just fighting "imperialism". 911= INSIDE JOB. Bin Laden being a Bush buddy. And im not even talking about WT7 or the golden insurance Mr Silverstein got out of it, whilst he should have paid about the same amount to remove the asbestos. Problem solved right? bonus being invade countries, and get the oil (and protect Israel ). Point is it's all just a money & geostrategic game, and religion has nothing to do with it. Religious people are good, fair and respectful. Otherwise it is called a cult/sect. Peace to my brother muslims. The perfect definition of a Christian... Thank you yep, in fact i'd add that people believing in nothing are the most dangerous. disrespectful self-centered pricks. All atheists in the world belong to the same church then? Yeah, we do. Didn't you know that? We set around in our splintered cabals and research ways of denying the various gods. Oh, wait, we don't do that at all, do we? first off, it irritates the hell out of me when people say that atheists believe in nothing. There is an immeasurable chasm between not believing in unprovable assertions and believing in nothing. I have no real desire to illustrate my own personal beliefs, as they are both personal and irrelevant to the discussion, but to say I believe in nothing because I fail to believe in the impossible is insulting. Secondly, statistically speaking, atheists have the lowest crime rates of just about all such artificial groupings. Even when we're talking statutory crime, though I think we're a bit more likely to disobey "because I said so" edicts than theists. I can't prove that, so take it with a grain of salt. It's just my observation. We don't derive our moral compass from some moldy old tome that thinks it's ok to dash babies against the rocks if they happen to be a different tribe or religion, but rather from a desire to peaceably get on with our neighbors and a sense that some things are simply wrong REGARDLESS of where the belief comes from.

I Don't hate Islam. I dislike all religions including Islam. My dislike may be slightly greater for Christianity, but that's probably because it's the religion I know the best. I do have a pretty good hate on for Islamic extremists such as the Taliban and Al Qaeda.
This is almost amazing. Why would anyone dislike Christianity? Here is what Christianity does for the world. Everybody, EVERYBODY, makes mistakes and does things wrong. Everybody sins. Christianity might be the only religion that forces onto EVERYBODY, forgiveness for sins in this life. In addition, Christianity gives to its people everlasting life in joy with God. Why would anybody dislike that!? Without Christianity there would be no life alive on earth now, because everybody sins, and God can't stand sin. And without Christianity there would be no salvation from death. Even the people of other religions should love Christianity, because it is the reason that they have their freedom in all the ways that they have it. Let's attempt to be real here, shall we? Everything, let me repeat that, EVERYTHING that makes modern people hate on Islam was done in the name of the Christian god way before Mohammed got to running around. Chistianity has mellowed over the centuries. It remains, at it's core, one of the most divisive and evil philosophies ever put forth. READ the bible. Not it's "what the captain meant was" apologists say, the actual book. You can't get much more horrible than that book. There is a reason why the majority of horror films are based on christian legends.

My sister in law is Muslim but she doesn't make any waves about it as our whole family is Catholic. I don't dislike Muslims and have had great food at their events. This extremist crap is what I abhor. If it came down to Muslims as i see some of them or Evangelicals, then I'd have to choose neither. I really do not like Evamges and can't see myself sharing a table w/ any of them and having a splendid time of it.
I have done both, and seem to never had a problem. I do recall one dinner where a fundamentalist women said something like "as soon as we can get the Democrats out of Washington we can fix the abortion issue." I responded that it should be done at the state level, otherwise her approach would just yield another style of big government ordering people around. The whole table went silent. Obviously not small-government advocates, that bunch. But that was an exception and stands out as such. Americans forget what the full name of their country is: united STATES. That was prior to the seventeenth amendment. The defacto abolition of the senate rendered the pretense of separate states under a confederated banner a dead letter. The American Experiment, as it was often called, ended in 1865. the name didn't change, but the fundamentals changed from a contentious republic to an empire. Not in all respects. For example almost all law on "murder" is at the state level. Therefore it seems obvious (at least to me, but maybe I'm an idiot) that if the lady thought abortion was murder she needed to focus at the state level.... Roman Provincial governors had a lot of autonomy as well, but all must bow to Rome. It's pretty much the same in the USA. In your specific instance, the lines continue to blur on a daily basis. The FBI is now routinely called in on murder cases, which when I was a kid only happened if it had somehow crossed state lines or involved a political figure. Basically, the pretence is maintained. At some point, the USA is going to have to stop pretending to still be a Republic, and those will be very interesting days. I've long wondered who the first "caesar" will be.

I assumed a crypto expert would be able to find it. Let me know if you need any more help. That's volume. It is still more than a little odd, to have the entire supply traded multiple times, but it isn't necessarily indicative of malfeasance. I would suspect on the "good" side that either there was simply a LOT of activity across a few whales, a stats issue at the exchange, or people catching dumps. the bad side is a hidden premine. Code monkeys?

Evening GMC people Periodically over the next couple of days, the GMC! pool will be in maintenance mode. I'm adding some functionality and tweaking the settings. During this, the miners and shares will be fine, but there will be times when the front end will either be incorrect or unreachable. I don't anticipate any problems with mining, but if you see stats being out of whack, don't panic I am going to add IRC functionality, probably change the logos, possibly add a forum, and try to make the home page a bit more interesting. All of this is cosmetic and does not affect the actual mining in any way. Just for the sake of safety, and this should be the case whether or not maintenance is happening, you should ALWAYS have a failover pool set up. As I'm new to this particular coin's community, I have little idea of the general expertise of the miners. If the above and below are obvious to you, just pretend I wasn't talking to you If anyone has any troubles setting up their miners or reaching the pool for any reason, never hesitate to contact me in PM. Also ask your fellows. There are some very helpful people here. I'm personally quite familiar with cgminer and sgminer and can help with issues that may arise in it's use. Also Gridseed and Zeusminer ASIC machines. BFGminer has always given me issues, though it works well for others. I'm afraid I can't be much help there. To those of you who have already joined the pool, Thank you! To those who haven't, come in, the water's fine

Some mod really didn't like the superhero thing My comment got deleted and didn't even have a picture. EDIT: I thought mods weren't supposed to do shit in self moderated threads? Since Press was in on the joke, they definitely are out of line. Can it be connected with the DMCA? no, apparently someone hasn't been taking his cunt pills lately and has been delete happy in the alts forum... ive had a lot of post deleted recently that would lead me to believe a certain mod has an agenda and should no longer be a mod. in other news, sorry been afk all week.... came down hardcore with stomach flu only to end my week with my father having another heartattack early yesterday morning. fuck a doodle doo Oh, man! sorry to hear that. My dad had a heart attack 8 years ago. He beat it, but that's some scary shit Here's hoping all goes well going forward. ...and yeah, I think the mod you're referring to is not, well, mmMPREPared? Definitely Can't Understand Normal Thinking. No way it was DMCA, since it was an oblique reference. X-men fans would recognize it.

For reasons unknown, the pool got screwed up yesterday. I have put everything back as it's supposed to be, and the self checks are passed. I am not sure what happened, but if any of you notice the pool misbehaving in any way, please shoot me a PM here. I will be adding a chat box to the pool in the future, but that's fairly far down my extensive to-do list. I'm almost always logged in to BCT, so I'll get PM's here in short order. Sorry for the inconvenience. I do my best to run a good pool, but this is the first time I've run a public pool

Given the amount of money raised vs. the amount of money spent... I'm pretty sure he can afford some very well trained thugs to walk with him.

what's the coin now ?any news ?
All technical issues (aside from some trivial ones) have been fixed. We're up on at least two exchanges, and we're working on some crazy shit behind the scenes. That being said, I would like ideas from the community about how we might get GMC integrated into various gaming platforms, gambling sites, or anything else to get the marketing side rolling. We have a lot of ideas in the core team, but without the community, we are only a few people. As we go forward, it appears I am going to be one of the key communications people. I won't ever shoot down an idea without serious consideration. And as usual, it's YOUR coin. Do what thou wilt to promote it and implement it. If the Foundation likes your idea and is able to do so, we'll likely back your play, and we certainly won't stand in your way.

If you are having bandwidth problems enter "strictincoming true" & "strictprotocol true" into the debug window.
what does these both commands do? also when i did "disablestake false 999999" output has stake requirment set? = false what condition i have to put in the disablestake syntax thanks for the info or pointing me towards it strictincoming will block peers that request the same data over and over, we have seen this happening since the fork a few months back. strictprotocol will only keep you connected to peers on the most recent wallet. if you enter "disablestake false" then the wallet will continue the hashing process as usual. if you enter "disablestake true" then you have shut off staking. if you enter "disable stake true diff > 25" then your staking will be disabled if the diff is over 25 and it will say "stake requirements set? true" and once difficulty is <25 (rarely) thn staking will become active by itself, right? Yep, thats how it works. You can also do it with your wallets total weight. "disablestake true weight < 100000" for example lets rock the party, when you'll be launching another coin with 1000% PoS I had an idea for a 50k Coin, you could launch it with a long 0 mining reward and taper up a bit and let trading takes it's course, when it hit's 0 it gets delisted and you get bags or BTC, maybe throw in some random blocks, super compound! sounds rather familiar. Couldn't have been inspired by a guy named Homero, could it ?
