61  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2017, 05:56:47 PM
Coming out of lurk-mode to take part in this generous ATH contest. My prediction is 15th May 2018.
Reason:
I think we are now in a sideways and probably slightly falling trend. This will be a boring market for some time where we slowly fill in the trading area we moved so quick through on the way up. I see we might even go below $2000, but very slowly. Then we will hit the 1&2 yearly moving averages. This will trigger some major buying and within a month or two after this we should see new ATHs. Yes I am a bit negative short term, but this will be very healthy and set up a move to 10k and beyond.

We are now halfway through August and still nothing. Sad that my prediction from April in the old thread seems to becoming true.

This is really starting to remind me of Phenix Coin from a couple of years ago. Also a coin with a lot of promises about a poker room, casino, exchange etc. Lots of hype, lots of missed deadlines and turned out to be a complete scam with the developers running off with all the money.

Not saying this will be the same, but I think all you investors should study up on the history of that coin, and see what could end up happening.

Here is the thread exposing that coin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=267301.0

I am extremely worried that you are avoiding the question about the names of the team. Here is the question someone else asked:

1. Who are the "the current team" members? What's their names?

Please try again to answer this. If you can not answer this simple question it is a huge red flag.

Also you need to answer this question with a full address.

2. What is your registered US address?

I will be buying at 1320 BRO / BTC, providing we can get the BRO team to transfer ownership to my private key.

Are you serious? You will proabably be able to buy every single BRO coin out there at that price.

You must be pretty confident the BRO team will not be able to transfer the ownership I guess  Wink.

67  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitStamp - hacked and down on: January 08, 2015, 09:58:42 AM
its possible that this hack has been planned over several months ...........its very possible the hacker registered using a stolen identity or fake passport etc

Agree with this, but that still does not mean he would withdraw fiat as you need to withdraw to an account in the same name of the ID you have sent to Bitstamp.

Hey crazy rabbit you have been around for a long time, why do you always come into threads like this being so incredible naive?

Here is a post from you from February:

I highly, highly, doubt Gox is going belly up. They handle an enormous volume both in trade and deposit/withdrawals. Obviously there is some sort of issue that needs to get solved. Maybe there is some sort of issue that only crops up with very large withdrawal volume. Either way, chill out. :-)

Seems you have not learned much. When stuff like this happens the correct response is always to act fast and be very aggressive. Everyone with money stuck on Stamp should really take the advice of smoothie and Nagel.

Oh really? Maybe it's more of a strong indication that they have reason to worry the hacker might have been in the system earlier than they think, already sold bitcoins and was hoping to withdraw FIAT before being caught.

You must never have tried withdrawing from Bitstamp or you would know their KYC/AML routines are very strict. Do you really think a hacker who is sitting on 5m in Bitcoin would give up his identity to withdraw a little bit of fiat?

DON'T QUOTE THIS POST

A tip is enough...  Cool

Nice of you to post a summary of all the doge pictures that get posted on reddit, but it would be even better if you gave the original creators credit for their work. Especially when you are begging for tips Wink

Best of all - theres no constant bashing or flaming of other coins like every other fucking thread on this forum. DOGE accepts all.
i bow to such wow.

It's like the old saying goes "top doges are rarely haters". You don't see Michael Jordan or Usain Bolt running around hating on others. Top doges to busy being awesome to have time for that BS.

Clearly something very bad going on from Cryptsy. No one here has got their deposit through and whoever has had it go through would never leave a 10 DOGE order at 1BTC. They would insta sell those 10 for 0.1BTC. Very fishy that only a couple very small deposits seems to have gone through. This is clearly manipulation by Cryptsy and very bad stuff for an exchange to do.

Guys! If you play any MMO games, try to spread The Word of Doge there! Like "WTS 100k gold for 100k DOGE!"

Was playing online poker today and some dude kept begging for $5. I said if he googled dogecoin and got an address Id send him 5 dogecoins. He did and I solved the problem of his annoying begging and at the same time spread the dogecoin word. He probably still trying to figure out what to do with those coins Cheesy
