1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: August 20, 2018, 11:37:53 PM
If you are holding a good coin already then, you better believe in that and be patient on keeping it until bull runs come. Because you'll definitely regret it when you sell it right before it pumps so hard. I remember I also have Verge; I bought it at a reasonable price, then I was so impatient. I sold them all then afterward it increases up to $1.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the vehicle, we run it on: August 20, 2018, 01:49:46 PM
That is right. Bitcoin was created to solve the problems in our financial sector, but it never meant to harm or to use in illegal activities. It is up to the people using it whether it will be used in good or bad. And we cannot prevent or avoid those people to use it in bad since we all have our own free will to do as we please.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin affects your emotional and mental aspect of your life? on: August 20, 2018, 01:27:15 PM
Given the fact that Bitcoin's future will be excellent, I believe that. However, with this extended period of bear market we are experiencing right now, it makes my emotion on a roller coaster ride. Though it does not bother me too much because I consider it a long-term investment, but then, of course, I still wanted and hoped for the bull run to come so that everybody is happy.  Grin Cheesy
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is the difference between rich or poor? on: August 20, 2018, 01:09:27 PM
Rich people are more courageous and resourceful in terms of making money. That is why they are rich because they are not lazy. They work hard to achieve what they have achieved. Most of the poor people are lazy. They tend to blame all the problems to other people. In fact, the only should be blamed is themselves.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: August 06, 2018, 09:45:59 AM
I am thinking about this also. How will Bitcoin be of use when its price is too volatile. But I realized that when Bitcoin becomes our currency, I think its price will stable since there is no buying and selling of Bitcoin. The only thing that affects price is when someone buys or sells Bitcoin.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: AI replacing human workers? on: August 05, 2018, 02:23:49 AM
Artificial Intelligence is undoubtedly progressing rapidly. And we have right now they call Narrow AI wherein it performs a specific task, like Identity verification and validation, data security and control. Even driving a car can be done using AI. So with these tasks that an AI can do, human labor is affected. Yes, it will surely be beneficial to humans, but then humans replaced by AI will make unemployment rate high.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: July 30, 2018, 04:37:18 AM
Before when Bitcoin costs only a penny, they do not care because they think that it will never get big. But now it got their attention because it's price surge unexpectedly. And the technology behind it is really innovative that they cannot ignore. Bitcoin and the blockchain technology are built to improve or correct the flaws in our financial system.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: July 30, 2018, 01:02:25 AM
A good question. The government can easily ban Bitcoin, that's the only thing they can do since technically speaking, they cannot destroy it totally. But they didn't because I think we all know the answer to this question. The government doesn't ban Bitcoin worldwide in some countries because they are realizing that Bitcoin is an opportunity and not a threat. Banning Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies would be futile. I think the smarter move would be creating regulations that make a win-win situation for both the government and the technology.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF, seems going to get approve this time.. on: July 28, 2018, 10:58:59 PM
We are hoping for that. They say it will be in August, but some say the decision will be in September. Anyway, if this ETF got approved then bull run will now be confirmed. We all are waiting for this. Green days are coming.  Grin
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is really life is beautiful? on: July 21, 2018, 11:02:17 PM
With so many problems we face every day, sometimes we just want to give up and think that life doesn't seem to be beautiful. Life is beautiful even though we struggle a lot. It's normal to have problems, it makes us human. It makes our life more challenging. So if we have so many problems, just talk to God and he will never leave your side.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone forgot the key to their bitcoin wallet ? on: July 02, 2018, 11:50:36 PM
Not into my knowledge that we can retrieve the private keys once you have lost it. So better not to misplace it. Print it out and keep it in a safe place with your personal documents so that you'll never misplace it.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Good business is a business that begins, not questioned continuously on: June 29, 2018, 05:30:37 PM
I don't see anything wrong with asking for suggestions about what business is good to start. Though it is imperative to have courage, still it is critical to know the factors that we should consider in building our own business.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 29, 2018, 02:22:22 PM
It's mandatory, and we should comply otherwise we get punished. Taxes are the backbone of our government. Without money coming from taxes, the government is useless. So whether we like it or not, as a responsible citizen of your country, we should pay our taxes regularly.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: June 29, 2018, 02:12:41 PM
That's right. There are still many coins that we should take a look aside from Bitcoin because, like Bitcoin, they all have potentials too in the future. However, I still have an eye to the new coins in the market. I believe these new coins in the market are more improved than the older coins that might have more potentials too in the future.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: June 27, 2018, 11:53:27 PM
No. I am a Bitcoin lover but I am also Altcoins lover. So I do not advise that we should sell all our alts and put it all in Bitcoin. Because holding alts (potential) for a long period of time will give you a good profit as well.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: June 27, 2018, 02:59:43 PM
With its high volatility, then it's definitely for those who are willing to take the risk. Cryptocurrency is still in its first phase but then we are waiting for mass adoption. If countries all over the world already accept crypto and blockchain technology, then those who patiently hodl their position will enjoy the rise of crypto.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Better Late than Never? on: June 18, 2018, 02:07:16 PM
My dad owns a few bitcoins, now he told me a few days ago that he is looking to sell his house in order to buy bitcoins, i told him that he was insane.

No one knows if bitcoin is going to crash or not, but risking a house is something very DIFFERENT from investing a few hundreds or thousands.

If you are looking to invest less than $10000, then do it, there is nothing to loss in there, you can easy recover $10k in a few months.

But if you are going to put all your life savings in here, do not do it, you are going to run with a huge risk.

I definitely agreed on this one, its just no one really knows but in bitcoin you have to be a risk taker but wiser too. If you are a newbie don't invest too much at first, try to tske it slow and learn the ways of bitcoin 😊

Agreed. I know it makes us excited to imagine you'll win in this game, but that's not that easy. It is great that you got the courage to jump in and take the risk but you have to make things under your control. You are right bro, take it easy. Study the flow of the market. Invest little by little, do not be impulsive. Invest more on knowledge before your money.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you selective when you participating in ICOs? on: June 08, 2018, 11:28:31 PM
Yes, Of course. I do not participate in ICOs that I do not see any potential. Even in participating in campaigns. It is like participating in ICO also. I study and look at the bounty campaign before I join. Because I don't want to endorse or advertise a certain token that I don't see any potential in the future. It is not worthy of time and effort.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: June 08, 2018, 11:18:44 PM
I hold them until it gets to the big exchange. When it enters already in the big exchange, I wait until it reaches my desired profit. When it hits my desired price, I will sell half of my tokens and will hold the other half. I will sell the other half before the year ends, because every December, all coins are in their All-time-high.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Weak Hands lose money, strong hands makes profits in this game! on: June 08, 2018, 10:19:10 PM
That's the just the plain truth. After my portfolio dip as a result of fomo and poor research, I have made up my mind to wait even if it took 2 years for the market to fully recover. The code is invest in solid projects with use case and forget it till it buys you lambo.

Agree. If you hold with a solid project, then you do not have to worry when its price goes down because you know it will recover again in the future. So the struggle of investors is to which projects they should invest. If you are a holder, then make sure you are holding the good ones.
