421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: June 03, 2018, 12:45:07 PM
I guess you can invest up to 30% in the cryptocurrency. However, it always depends on the situation. Probably you and your family need the money urgently. In this case, 20% will be the perfect variant.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EcoPole - agricultural investment (Russia) on: June 03, 2018, 11:57:47 AM
The project has good potential, because it is not just an idea, but an already operating business. Only there are too little advertising, which will not attract the attention of large investors.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: June 03, 2018, 11:49:42 AM
I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

#Datarius

That’s difficult question. On my mind buying during ICO is not a wrong action. At the same time I am actually used to purchase coins when they are ripened a little. It is more clear then if the coin is worth to be bought.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO or litecoin on: June 01, 2018, 10:16:37 AM
From many investors I heard good response for NEO and Litecoin. I know both are great altcoin in today's market. But in case of investing and to get profit quickly which coin do you recommend.

Litecoin is known as the coin that suitable for mining. I don’t clearly know why but LTC is mined by many farms that located in northern China for example. So I prefer Litecoin, just because it is more popular.
425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Be Scared Of Hackers If I Have Lot of BTC. on: June 01, 2018, 10:13:44 AM
The safety of your bitcoin/assets relies on you. Put some antiviruses on your device and make sure its always updated so you wont get phished. Do not store you private keys or passwords on a cloud storage. If necessary, write it on a notebook and also make sure it wont be lost or get wet. Do not trust anyone by sharing your private keys. People changes when it comes to money. Hackers today are so aggressive so always be safe.

The device cannot have several antiviruses. And as you know most of them are not so much effective. I agree with you that the private key must not be stored in a cloud storage. Meanwhile, no one can get an insurance against hackers' attacks.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: June 01, 2018, 10:05:24 AM
Long term investments are better if you are planning to support project. You can divide your portfolio on tro parts: one for long term investments, another - for short term and speculations.

For me, long-term investment is something that is much more reliable than these short-term operations. I have been dealing with the cryptocurrency for several years and I am patient enough to wait.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple BULL RUN on: June 01, 2018, 10:01:54 AM
You forgot that Ripple are still adding 1Billion supply every month that is added in the market, one reason why Ripple will not be a good buy even if they have a big event every week.

Honestly, I have the same question to the author of this curious thread. Ripple will be gaining but only because the other cryptocurrencies will do the same thing. Additionally, I do not think its bull run will last long.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you lost during this bloodbath? on: June 01, 2018, 09:57:53 AM
I just simply stopped to trade and relaxed. I took some days of the rest. Now I see most coins are gaining, and I feel very happy.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding BTC vs Day trading or short term trading. on: May 29, 2018, 12:21:14 PM
Day trading is very intertaining and fun if you and you have plenty of time and a good skills in trading you can simply earn a good profit in day trading daily. But if you dont have a good skills in day trading you just lose your money.

You should definitely have the skills and the experience for day-trading. You can start these activities only when you are in a trading business for at least a year or even more. The newbie should better hold.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: May 29, 2018, 12:10:47 PM
Hi guys,

I was trying to invest around 5K in Etherium. The price at the moment is around 1.2K and as it looks it is still growing. You think is it a good time to invest ?

Ethereum is still one of the best cryptocurrencies on the market. Some users think that Ethereum will replace Bitcoin within the time. But I am not sure about it. But the second place is for Ethereum definitely.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: May 25, 2018, 11:35:49 AM
maybe waves will add more features on their platform and if that good it will definitely make increased value of waves

The platform devs have been working at the developing of Waves smart contracts. I am sure, it will add the cryptocurrency even more popularity. As the result, the price of the altcoin will grow a lot.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: May 25, 2018, 11:33:13 AM
See a vote on this one  Grin

Curious, the question was asked almost 2 years ago, and still, some people compare Ethereum with a bubble. BIG NO. ETH is the coolest cryptocurrency, people!
433  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin actually protecting fiat money? on: May 25, 2018, 11:25:44 AM
I don't understand how bitcoin is protecting fiat currency, at all.

Bitcoin is an alternative to fiat currency, and is literally known to be that. The biggest competitor right now to fiat currency is probably BTC itself, and it doesn't make any sense that bitcoin is also protecting, instead of rivaling(which is the case) fiat currencies. Simply absurd. It may be different if bitcoin wasn't decentralized, but it is.

If a country has attractive tax rates and regulations for the crypto industry, then its economy and its total output may be positively affected. But its fiat currency, does not.

I am with you, man. The question seemed to me very odd. HOW can Bitcoin become a protector of traditional money? It is a digital currency - BTC cannot do it.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: May 25, 2018, 11:20:37 AM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?

It depends on how much your earning is and what kind of business you want to put up. If you're tired of working as an employee, plan your strategie how to put up business before passing a resignation letter to your employer. It's hard to be jobless.

Sure, if your business does not require the rent of some real estate or the land, you can easily earn some Bitcoins to start it. I do not have enough BTC now to deal with the business.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: May 25, 2018, 11:20:14 AM
When they really need to. But they'll fight it hard! Apple's business model is to lock everything down -- very closed indeed. This does not align with the goals of bitcoin, at least, how I perceive them.

tl;dr Apple = closed. BTC = open.
I do not think apple needed using blockchain technology. Because apple is a huge corporation. If we compare apple with Bitcoin then I think Apple is more famous and popular than Bitcoin

Apple is one of the richest companies, and it has been always been a pioneer. I can admit that they can create their own cryptocurrency, and start using blockchain.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO $ 5000 on: May 25, 2018, 11:16:38 AM
Maybe in a few years Ethereum will take $ 5000, but it will not happen in the near future. Since investors are less.

It does not depend much on the number of the investors. The market is not very strong due to a deep bloodbath that lasted too long. ETH will cost 5K but in several years.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHATS YOUR TOP CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR HUGE GAINS? on: May 25, 2018, 11:13:12 AM
So we're talking about expectations here?

Then.. for me, projects who I truly have faith on are : Nano, Tron, Ethos, and BNB.
If crypto market didn't crash this year, I'm pretty sure these 4 would be outstanding this year. My expectation would be at least x5 for each mentioned.

Actually, there are few more projects which in my opinion would have huge gains as well such as : ethereum, substratum, quanstamp, and ncash .. but I don't really have faith on these. Just my opinion though!

These are really very cool altcoins, and I also have some of them in my wallet. I would also recommend you to pay attention to Napoleon X, Gladios
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you choose Altcoin .. ?? on: May 25, 2018, 11:10:44 AM
Good day. I choose alts that has a great future. You can see them on their whitepaper. I always check updates of the project on social media like twitter and Facebook and its good to join their telegram channels. There's where the action is. Interact with the team and the whole community and get your questions answered by the developers themselves. There you can decide if its worth investing.

I suppose a newbie might not understand anything from the whitepaper even when he reads it several times. Just (for the beginning), follow the recommendations of skilled traders.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: May 21, 2018, 10:20:49 AM
There are possibility that Philippines will banned crytptocurrency because of many news that many Filipinos has been scam by bitcoins scam investments but there's also a possibility that bitcoin will introduce by government because many Filipinos are jobless and bitcoin might be one of their source of income.

There are too many different rumors that Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies can be banned in this country. However, in my opinion, it will not happen ever.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH beat BTC someday? on: May 21, 2018, 10:14:32 AM
Is there any chance that Ethereum will cost as much as Bitcoin in 2018?

I can believe that one day it will happen. probably, when all 21 million of Bitcoin is mined, Ethereum will start playing the greatest role in the crypto world.
