221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 09, 2023, 01:45:14 PM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin

I hope you really can make that motivation to play with money that you can afford to lose, that's what newbies used to say when they are starting to play, but keep on adding to their bankroll and increasing their bets, the best casino to play for newbies like you is Bitvest they are one of the oldest casinos in the industry and they have a long marketing campaign here, you will not go wrong with Bitvest, its interface is very simple and you have a lot of coins to choose to deposit.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 10:01:25 AM

So I was wondering if some folks here too feel the same way or it was just a matter of grudge and hatred for the particular fellow to stir up such arguement.

This is childish, you should be responsible for all your actions and not blame people who introduce you to gambling, once you reach adolescence you should be responsible for all your actions and stop blaming people who have no direct influence in all your actions.
Once you start blaming other people who teach you how to gamble you just prove yourself to be more irresponsible for not putting control on your gambling activity, we have to grow and be mature if we're into gambling.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling? on: December 08, 2023, 10:21:38 PM
If you work as a staff member in a physical casino as a dealer or in a sports bookie, I know that there are subtle ways you can use to encourage responsible gambling that will not go against the terms and conditions for staff.

For example, suppose you encounter a gambler who has wagered $200 at the table and is currently winning $6k. Would you express to them, "Hey, you're up $6k, and you initially entered this table with $200. Walk away, Take your winnings, go!" or will you say, "It is very admirable to know when to stop"?

What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling?
You're not being loyal to your company so want your company to lose profit, you have no business saying this to clients, you are betraying the trust of your company, players do not want to tell them to stop and take their profit, it can come from others but never from a gambling staff, it's unusual for staff to do this, players will perceive you as someone who hated the company you're working if you tell them thee words and he might report you for giving unsolicited that puts the company in disadvantage.

225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: December 08, 2023, 12:46:11 PM
Well, I think the best thing to do here is to wait and hodl if you had no other choice like Altcoins that offers cheaper transaction fees. For me, Doge, XRP and Shiba Inu has direct support from our local e-wallets though I am not sure if these coins are supported by the gambling site because most of the time they only accept Bitcoin.

The majority of casinos have anticipated this and they know that the majority of gamblers are also investors and supporters of altcoins so they made sure that players have the option to choose what coins they want to deposit, It's very rare to see casinos that only accept casinos, they will lose players and profit in times like this and I doubt if players will continue to play on Crypto casinos with only Bitcoin as the only coin they accept.
The most popular altcoins, players choose are Tron, Doge XRP, and USDT you can see this on the majority of casinos.
226  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Invitation to Collaborate on a Breakthrough Project on: December 08, 2023, 09:28:16 AM
A professional guy who he claims to be will not do what he did you don't go to a forum or any online community without putting up his credentials and asking to get funded this is like begging, in the case of this Michael he did not how to properly present his ideas this is just an attempt to maybe scam because he is not putting his credentials to show readers that he is honest with what he is asking.
This is unprofessional and unethical for someone who claims to be professional and obviously, he has no idea what Bitcointalk is and how harsh people will deal with this kind of offer.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 08, 2023, 12:28:17 AM
I'm better now than when I had just started, I just realized my priorities and my priorities are my jobs and my relationships with people I am close with, gambling takes away my priorities, back then I spent a lot of time and money which is not right because you eventually forget what matter most in your life, glad that I overcome it after so many months of struggling.
Gambling is good in the first few weeks but once addiction starts that will cause a lot of dissatisfaction and depression, so every new gambler should watch out for the warning signs, or you will struggle to get back, to the life you once enjoyed.

they've been online since 2014 I once used it when I was managing a page, a friend recommended this to me, but I cannot guarantee a drop, there are two options here you can earn points and use that points to grow your page or you can deposit and buy points to buy likes.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 07, 2023, 12:47:26 PM

A friend of mine collected $10 from me earlier yesterday and I wanted to use the money to gamble, but based on, he is my friend. I gave him the $10 he asked for, and the guy said he would return the $10 back ASAP after 3 hours, but he didn't and the $10 was the amount and same money I wanted to use and stake a bet (I have some coins but don't have cash and I don't want to sell any penny of my coins for any reason). But letter on, I used 1000 naira ($1) to stake the bet and I won 49,814 naira (about $50+).

Now I am angry at my friend because he didn't keep to his words. Although I am still happy about the win, I wish he had given me back the $10. Then, I would have win bigger money.

You just move on and charge this to experience, it's only a small amount why make a big fuzz about it, your friend may have a good reason why he failed to return the money in time, but next time if you are going to use the money for gambling do not lend it even to your friends, do not get angry with your friend because of small issues its hard to part ways with your friend because of gambling especially if the amount is only worth $50.
230  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win tron bets are secured up 70% win tron everyday on: December 07, 2023, 12:01:15 PM
This is a Ponzi scheme plain and simple

Quote
Win TRON every day everybody win 30% 🎁
You can win up to 100x of the bet winnings are automatically paid out to the same tron   wallet from where the bets placed.
All players win, the smallest amount that can be won is 30% of the amount, so you can only lose up to 70% of the bet.
For example: with 1000$ bet you get 300$ always back.
The bet are your single transaction what you make on tron blockchain.

They don't have a platform, everything is hidden there is nothing to confirm your deposit, and there are no games to play, this should not be in the casino board it should be in the scam section because it's a pure Ponzi scheme.
If a platform guaranteed you a winning its not considered a gambling platform but a Ponzi scheme.

234  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers Signatures : A challenge or Respect on: December 06, 2023, 04:38:30 AM

Well, Theymos has given a grace period of one month, to wind up all these things including signature campaigns. Now the question comes whether we show respect to the theymos decision and remove our signatures as soon as possible for everyone benefit and to show that we respect the forum decisions or will you people will keep wearing the signatures till 31 December so that you earn every penny you can. Also it means that most users are not willing to let go mixers signatures as they keep them till the last seconds.

The same challenge goes to the campaign managers to announce this or this current week as the last one to wind up things  (in favor and agreeing to theymos) or still be willing to go till the last week of December Huh

Just because you are still wearing the signature does not mean you do not have respect for Theymos' announcement, the participant is also respecting their obligation to their campaign manager and they are honoring it by continuously wearing the signature, what is disrespectful is still wearing or promoting mixers after the announcement date, I don't see it as disrespecting Theymos by not taking the signature out before the date.
235  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help , Sobrang taas ng fee Pano mag send ng mas mababa and fees? on: December 06, 2023, 01:18:08 AM
Mang aabala lang sana ako mga kababayan , balak ko sana mag send ng BTC now from Green Wallet to  Binance kaso sobrang taas ng fee , ang lowest is 163 sat/vB  and ang pinaka mabilis is 246 sat/vB , balak ko sana i costumize pwede ko kayang gawing 50 sat/vB or lower  pa? di naman ako nagmamadali pero iniisip ko lang na baka abutin naman ng ilang linggo pag sobrang baba.anyway salamat sa mag share kung ano ang ibang option ko para hindi naman halos maubos yong isesend ko sa fees palang..

236  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 05, 2023, 11:41:11 PM
I have experienced this just once but since then I have not had that issue. And remembering it now and saying to myself that I was to be blamed for the issue. What casinos should do is to make try as much as possible to make the KYC requirement to be a prerequisite for funding the and playing. This way it will not seem like the casino is being shady. It removes confusions and make the gambler aware from the onset what is expected of him before he can make full use of the casino features.

There are casinos where you can verify your account or ask them if you can do KYC before depositing huge amounts of money, OP mentioned the name of the casino that is not very popular here in the gambling community, if the casino is reputable and you have no problem with your documents I doubt if there will be an issue if you win a huge amount of money but you have to do KYC the reason is if you're not a minor playing in their platform which is a violation of their terms if you can prove that you are not a minor you can withdraw your winnings with no issue at all.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 05, 2023, 02:11:36 PM
It will be a year since this thread was created but until now no one who relies on or tested AI has a positive or accurate results it just proved that AI is not highly accurate to use in gambling betting, but AI is a big help in other sectors but not on gambling sectors there's too many uncertainty compared on other sectors where the users can grasp the facts.
When it comes to gambling there are no proven facts everything is dynamic here one athlete or team will perform better in one match but there's no guarantee that he can perform the same the next match.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 05, 2023, 08:45:56 AM
Now, you may be wondering about the connection between mixers related issues and casinos. The thing lies in casinos capability to facilitate untraceable transactions, enabling scenarios like depositing and withdrawing without a trace, potentially leading to money laundering.

The important question here: how will casinos respond to this new landscape, and what measures will they take and implement to face the challenges posed by recent developments? Probably many users will join casinos for an alternative of mixer.
They have already very strict measures for that I have a friend who was asked for KYC because of an unusual movement of funds and they asked for a lot of documents and a money trail to prove that the funds were not being washed, in the end, he proved that the funds come from a local exchange the criminals will have second thought using reputable casinos to wash their money, once caught the casino will ask the money trail or if they ignore the casinos will confiscate the money, the casino will benefit if they caught money launderers, some casinos will confiscate the money or they will have a good reputation in the gambling industry.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Include Or Always Include Gambling In Your New Year's Resolution on: December 05, 2023, 12:25:43 AM

My question do you include gambling in your new resolution, and what's your New Year's resolution about gambling?

Let's talk about it.

I only made one entry in my New Year's resolution and that was four years ago the time I was just starting to bet on a lottery, its addictive especially if you're keeping a combination of numbers you need to keep it up and follow it up I was betting 7 days a week with two tickets that's almost $1 and I incur a big amount of money considering that I was not earning enough.
Now I just bet occasionally and believe that if it's meant for you it's for you, sometimes having a New Year resolution is good unless you are dedicated in fulfilling it.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the End for BC.GAME? on: December 04, 2023, 12:13:15 PM
BC.GAME is quite good, but I am not there very often so I dont know what developments there are, but we'll see what efforts the casino will make to improve its own reputation.

They have a dedicated thread about solving the many issues
You can check it Introducing BC.Game Support Team: Building Trust and Transparency The thread is already locked but you can see that they have resolved a lot of issues and those issues that are not yet resolved are because they can not get into terms with the accuser and BC.Game, right now they've launched their signature campaign, in the hope that the gambling community will trust them again.
