1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 30, 2020, 04:31:23 PM
Australia's population is very limited compared to US and their per capita income is much better than any country in this world, so gambling those huge amounts in USD is not a big deal for Australians as they spend money so wisely, their wins pay off too. I am shocked USA is not in the list, though.

That's a good take on the statistics. I think something similar can be said about Norway. Both Australia and Norway have a large amount of natural resources that can be sold over seas and generates a lot of wealth for the people living and working there. Without this high capital inflow from other countries I would be hard to sustain such high gambling rates.

I don't know whether the statistics on the opening post are accurate or not, what I do know is that Australia's natural resources can make
Australians prosperous. Because Australia does have quite abundant wealth, here means that the Australian population has a sizable income.
So it is possible that a large enough income can make some Australians seek entertainment by playing gambling. And without realizing it,
the demand for gambling  in Australia is quite high. If so, it is very possible that Australia is a country that has high gambling activity.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC has replaced XRP for the 4th place on: December 30, 2020, 07:23:06 AM
Many people underestimate the potential of XRP, I believe XRP is able to return to taking the 4th position again in CMC. It is true about
bad news happening now, make prices XRP fell quite deeply, but I believe XRP will be able to rise again after proving innocent in all of
the SEC charges. I have known XRP since 2016, and XRP has always been in the top 10 cryptocurrencies until now. So the XRP team
will do something, show us all that XRP is not a scam.
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: US Economy finally rebounds in the right direction. on: December 29, 2020, 11:44:18 PM
Even though I am not an American citizen, I always follow the news that is happening in America. And I agree that currently the US economy is
getting better and is in the right direction, this of course must be appreciated. considering that America has experienced an economic crisis
throughout 2020, maybe this is because the vaccines have started to be distributed.

So pushing the American economy in a positive direction, but like many people I also have doubts in 2021 with the American economy. Maybe
because one of Biden's policies is to lock down, hopefully Biden changes his mind. Because I agree that the lockdown will only make the economy
worse, because not all businesses can work with work from home.
1284  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin price start Falling? on: December 29, 2020, 10:39:26 PM
Because I had a bad experience buying Bitcoin at its peak in 2017, then finally not long the price fell and made me suffer a big loss at that time.
Of course the rise in Bitcoin at the end of 2020 makes me think back to what happened in 2017. It makes me scared and traumatized to buy
Bitcoin in the current bullish trend.

So I will wait for Bitcoin to fall first to buy Bitcoin. And the movement of Bitcoin this year is difficult to predict, so I can't tell when the Bitcoin price
will fall. Usually a sign Bitcoin will fall if Bitcoin's dominance in the market decreases, but now the dominance of Bitcoin is still very high and continues
to rise. Which means that demand for Bitcoin also continues to increase, we have to be patient waiting for the price of Bitcoin to fall.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 29, 2020, 09:36:04 PM
~snip~

Sevilla 2 - 0 Villarreal
Barcelona 1 - 1  Eibar

Sevilla had a convincing victory over Villareal; while Barcelona struggles continue with a home draw against 15th placed team Eibar.

To be honest, I was quite surprised that Sevilla beat Villarreal, even though I predicted the result would end in a draw. But it turned out that
Sevilla could win the match convincingly, and made Sevilla move up to 4th in the table. Then Barcelona again wasted a point against Eibar's,
maybe Barcelona are not lucky because Martin Braithwaite missed a penalty and his goal was annulled in the 25th minute. This might have
caused Barcelona to mentally drop, and Eibar players took advantage by entering a goal first.

Fortunately Barcelona was able to equalize through Dembele's goal, but until the match ended Barcelona couldn't score another goal. And they
have to accept the results of the match ending in a draw, even though Barcelona should be able to beat Eibar with differences  in the quality of
the players.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP - The 2nd Biggest Scam in Digital Currency History on: December 29, 2020, 01:28:22 PM
It is even more terrible to see the current condition of XRP, imagine that XRP has lost 70% of its market cap after the SEC accused XRP
that its security was not registered. Even Peter Schiff also commented on Twitter regarding the problems that XRP is facing, if XRP loses
in court it will end. Although I am not a supporter of XRP I am a little convinced that XRP is able to prove that their suspicions are wrong.
Because it is impossible for the XRP development team to let its 6 years of hard work go to waste, especially when XRP has the support of
many large banks.
1287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: December 29, 2020, 12:12:03 PM
All traders definitely want to stay in the green, but the fact is we can't always stay in the green. The movement of the crypto market is
very volatile, so for sure we will one day experience staying in the red. Even professional traders are not perfect and can't always stay in
the green, therefore we need emotional control and risk management. I agree with you the key to successful trading is having a good strategy,
if we trade without a strategy will only make we lose money.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Electricity Consumption on: December 29, 2020, 08:11:59 AM
The most important things for Bitcoin to work are the internet and electricity, if neither of them is confirmed Bitcoin will die. Actually, to make
Bitcoin transactions a large consumption of electricity is not required, which requires a large consumption of electricity when mining. Usually
there are many mining farms in countries where electricity costs are very cheap. So that's the reason why I sell all the mining equipment that
I have, because Bitcoin mining is no longer profitable now. I can't cover the electricity costs that I have to pay, because in my country electricity
costs are quite expensive.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 28, 2020, 11:25:03 PM
Inter are going to play a home game against one of the worst teams in the league, Crotone. Inter still continue winning and their winning streak increased to seven matches after beating Verona away 2-1. I think this will be a so easy match for them and they won't have much problem on winning here.

It's true that the Inter Milan vs Crotone match is very easy to predict, what can be expected of Crotone as the second worst team in Serie A.
Inter Milan will win the match against Crotone, and hope AC Milan drop points against Benevento. If that happens Inter Milan could rise to
the top of the table. Moreover, Inter Milan's performance is in the best condition with 7 consecutive wins in Serie A.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When This Scam Will stop?? on: December 28, 2020, 10:55:58 PM
The interesting fact is that scams cannot be stopped and will always exist, therefore always be careful in choosing projects.
Do some research before choosing projects, at least this will help us find out which projects are legitimate. Regarding the rules of
this forum to overcome scams, it has been done, but scammers always find loopholes to do scams. So if you really want to avoid
scams, you don't need to join a bounty campaign and invest in Bitcoin to make money.
1291  Other / Archival / Re: ... on: December 28, 2020, 09:57:18 PM
I agree that the corona pandemic has made many people switch to investing in Bitcoin, and think of Bitcoin as a safe investment.
Maybe because many people are starting to realize Bitcoin can avoid inflation which is experienced by traditional currencies,
Moreover, the current pandemic situation has forced the government to implement a policy of printing large amounts of money to
restore the economy.

Which results in hyperinflation of traditional currencies such as fiat money, therefore some large companies are aware of this,
and start continuing to buy Bitcoin for long-term investments. But this does not make Bitcoin replace the role of fiat currencies,
because the government will never approve of Bitcoin replacing fiat. Bitcoin is currently widely used as a digital asset, not as
a means of payment.
1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: December 28, 2020, 08:45:43 PM
I don't agree with the opinion that says buying Bitcoin now is stupid, because if you are used to buying and holding Bitcoin for the long term.
So buying Bitcoin now is a good thing to do, because the Bitcoin movement will continue to go up. Try to do your research properly before arguing,
I have studied the movement of Bitcoin since 2016, know that to get profit from Bitcoin we must have patience. Without patience maybe buying
Bitcoin at its current price is a bad decision to make.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 28, 2020, 12:01:22 PM
I once tried to make gambling a source of income and hoped to make a living from gambling, but it didn't end well. The capital that I used
to gamble always ran out, even though I felt that I had tried various strategies, nothing worked. Surely if I make a profit if I continue playing
gambling again, it always ends in losses. From my experience, I conclude that gambling cannot be used as a profession, it is better just to be
used as entertainment.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: did I make mistake? on: December 27, 2020, 11:58:49 PM
You are doing the right thing, because ETH will definitely go up following the price of Bitcoin. But ETH holders must be more patient,
because the increase will not be as fast as Bitcoin. Moreover, based on the results of the analysis that I did, alt seasons might occur in 2021,
waiting for the Bitcoin price to stabilize and its dominance in the market to decline. So don't sell the ETH that you have bought, just wait for
the ETH price to be pumped. My prediction is that ETH will hit a price of $ 1000 by early 2021.
1295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Best Crypto Trading Strategies on: December 27, 2020, 11:40:22 PM
Many choose Holding as the best crypto trading strategy, but for me holding coins is very boring. I prefer scalping which can generate
profits faster and of course more attractive, because scalping is much more challenging. But the risk of scalping is indeed much greater,
so if we want to trade with a scalping strategy, we must have a very good analysis. Because we have to monitor the movement of coins
every day, so we can find out the right time to buy / sell coins.
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The 4 steps of the bitcoin boom. on: December 27, 2020, 11:10:48 PM
I am very worried if central bankers decide to buy Bitcoin, Due to the limited amount of Bitcoin supply, central banks easily control
the Bitcoin market. By buying Bitcoin in large quantities, they are able to manipulate the market for their personal gain. But the good
news is that it is unlikely that in the near future central bankers  will buy Bitcoin, so we can feel safe as individual investors.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 27, 2020, 10:40:10 PM
I expected LFC to win and failed, and a draw between West Ham - Brighton which happened. Now I will see if a draw between Spurs and Wolves will happen or not Tongue

Edit: do I see early goal for Spurs!?!
And I saw a late goal by Wolves so 1-1 draw at the end as expected Smiley
Overall the final score for my predictions are 2 - 1, Liverpool ruined my (rare) hattrick Tongue

Indeed, there are always surprises in boxing day matches every year, now the surprises that happen Liverpool are playing a draw with the WBA.
Even though I think Liverpool will win the match easily after Sadio Mane scored a goal in the 12th minute. It turned out that the WBA was able
to score a goal in the last minute, even though the ball possession was clearly controlled by Liverpool, reaching 78%. But as Liverpool are unlucky
they have to lose 2 points, I like you too regarding the Wolves vs Spurs match predicting the end of the draw turned out to be correct. I feel sorry
for you because you failed to get a hat trick. Cry
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop wishing Ethereum dead or overthrown on: December 27, 2020, 03:37:46 PM
There have been many projects created to beat Ethereum but Ethereum is too tough to beat. Ethereum's large support community is
the main reason why Ethereum is still become the best altcoins. And many new projects prefer to use the Ethereum network over other
smart contracts. Therefore, I never hesitate to invest in Ethereum, because Ethereum's performance is indeed quite good this year.
1299  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Company are holding more than 10000 Bitcoin on: December 27, 2020, 02:47:00 PM
I prefer companies that hold a lot of Bitcoin than individuals, because it is common for companies that buy Bitcoin for long-term investments
as reserve funds. So there is very little pump and dump will happen compared to individuals who want to get personal gain and there will be
price manipulation in the market this will be very dangerous. So knowing this good news with many companies that have started buying lots of
Bitcoin, this is of course the reason why the price of Bitcoin has continued to rise. I hope that more companies decide to invest in Bitcoin.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally reached $20k on: December 27, 2020, 01:25:39 PM
I'm glad Bitcoin has now managed to hit $ 28,000. This is the best Christmas and New Year gift for me, for those who buy Bitcoin
in March 2020 like me, now they can get huge profits. I don't want to be greedy, that's why I sold some of the Bitcoin that I owned.
So if Bitcoin is corrected, I can buy Bitcoin again.
