1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: August 07, 2021, 09:47:02 AM
Blockchain is a non-traditional, disruptive technology, and Bitcoin has the first mover advantage. It has the potential to be valuable if adopter, or nearly worthless if it isn't adopted. Only you can decide if its worth.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: July 28, 2021, 12:57:49 PM
What convince me was that i thought Bitcoin was a 'harder' currency than the USD or EUR. Harder currencies mean more valuable and stable like how the Venezuelans use Bitcoin instead of their terrible Bolivar currency. Examining the differences with western currencies is more difficult but that's what research is for..
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: July 27, 2021, 12:14:14 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency with zero government regulation; hence you can use it from any parts of the world without maintaining any strict restrictions or regulations. more flexibility a user can enjoy in the case of bitcoin compared to fiat money.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to Invest in Bitcoin?? on: July 26, 2021, 12:01:08 PM
Many people consider this just the start of the bull market, but.....

None of us knows the perfect time to invest or can predict the price. the intelligentsia of the market is the combined knowledge of all humans and algorithms which is more than knowledge than can anyone can have. Also bitcoin is so scarce that a single wealthy investor can significantly move the market in secret and announced. Rather than trying to time the market,  Let time work for guys...
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining vs Holding on: July 24, 2021, 07:53:49 AM
Do you think mining is kinda tied to btc? Because back when btc was struggling, people mining were barely making profits after deducting the electricity.

Also, normally do miners hold the earnings in btc or they sell out for fiat immediately?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about Bitcoin? on: July 23, 2021, 01:55:05 AM
The first i heard Bitcoin when my friends talks about it. if i remember " they told me it in around November 2018 or 2019, i'd also seen some mentions of it online before that but never looked into it. oh how i wish i could go back in time..,
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's causing the decline this time? on: July 23, 2021, 01:36:12 AM
The declined have also coincided with the delayed deadline for tax payments, which could have caused selling pressure as investors looked for cash to off capital gains tax liabilities.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW is safe? on: June 21, 2021, 02:09:20 PM
There are lots of scams targeting MEW ERC20 wallets and coins. Be careful, If it sounds too good, Do your research and find reviews and others people's experiences. Don't fall into the trap of "guaranteed mining results." GPU mining can be very profitable if done correctly.

11  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: June 16, 2021, 11:29:31 AM
First of all, it must be understood that there are different type of wealth.

In the end money is only a means, not an end. the infinite quest of some people to get more and more money leads them to misfortune. indeed, They will never feel happy. They will never be satisfied.

Money is a means that should give you time. time to do what you really want to do day after day.

Real wealth is being able to live your life as your wish day after day. Sooner or later this will lead you to happiness.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Own a house or rent one? Quick survey! on: June 16, 2021, 04:16:26 AM
First off, lets get something straight. Renting is not a waste of money. Sure, giving your money to the landlord may mean you're not investing in homeownership. but your paying to live somewhere! And as long as your paying to live, your money is being well spent. Though renting as a way of life is not something we recommend, there are a few situations in which renting is the better option.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: June 15, 2021, 11:45:31 AM
It depends on your definition of "poverty".

If you have an absolute standard in mind ("Daily income more than $10/day in inflation adjusted dollars") then absolutely, yes. Worldwide incomes are rapidly rising including among the poorest of the poor.

If you mean" people in the bottom 10% of the income distribution" , then by definition no. I don't see a way to have all people earn the same amount, at least not with real humans on the real Earth. Maybe in the 23rd century with free energy and replicators but that's far enough from reality as to be irrelevant.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: June 05, 2021, 12:16:52 AM
Many countries have declared restricted measures, such as lockdown, shelter in place, or stay at home orders, to contain the pandemic at a local level. however, the wildly differing responses and response timelines have left people wondering if authorities failed to take the situation seriously early on when they could have done more to slow down the spread of coronavirus.

Working from home may seem like the dream set-up for some, as it offers the possibility to tap into that latent creativity from the comfort of a cozy, familiar environment.

However, it can also bring a unique set of challenges - especially as an enforced measure.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on Monero? on: June 02, 2021, 10:34:32 AM
If your looking for the least amount of friction, start with Litecoin.

It's not because the other tokens are bad, but if you want to invest in MONERO, Zcash or XRP, you can't invest directly into it with USD. so because you already have to purchase another cryptocurrency before buying Monero ,Zcash or Ripple, anyway, you might as well start with Litecoin.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best Altcoin to buy now on: June 01, 2021, 02:07:45 PM
Ether has been the second largest crypto in the market after bitcoin, and it is no surprise it ranks as one of the best altcoin to trade in 2021 despite encountering stiff competition from other altcoins like NEO and EOS.

But try other Altcoins

- LTC
- XRP
- BNB
- BCH

Remember that investing in cryptocurrencies involves high risk due to the market's volatility. it is best to do your due diligence before investing in a specific altcoins.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC on: June 01, 2021, 09:38:37 AM
Ethereum is undoubtedly the king of smart contracts right now. every metric proves the domination of ETH network in attracting demand for decentralized apps, at the moment.

the core statistics of both ETH and BSC networks are showing everyday BSC lead in transaction volumes until now. this could prove the statement that people are tired of paying for gas and are looking for a solution that would help them to trade cheaper.

Also, its important not to forget about small traders, who sometimes need to pay half of the transaction volume as a gas fee.
18  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How do I create and design simple website? on: May 29, 2021, 01:45:11 AM
You can create a website for free in just a few minutes. However, there are limitations to this and you may not be 100% satisfied with the outcome of tossing something up in matter of minutes.  in most cases, you can expect to spend at least three to five days building your website. the exact amount of time depends on the complexity of what your creating and how fast you master the platform. but its a good baseline to have in mind if you're creating your first website.
