Too many nodes still using mainnet0016 , Please check the how to above and update asap, only a few hours left. After deleting the folder and reinstall to the latest version is says "version=mainnet0016" in my config file. if i understand it right everyone need to manually edit that file to xxxxx0017? |

you need to run a node so the wallet knows where to grab all datainformation. firewall issues is not a common error and may happends if you got alot going on(you probably already know how to fix it if you got that problem). i have not tried the light-wallet yet but the blockchain is not big(in size) so i recommend you to run a full-node.
Syncing procedure takes a lot of time for someone who start syncing their wallets for the first time. Next syncing times will be faster than the first one. Do I need to download the entire blockchain? what i know yes(3.37gb) but i saw a light-wallet version that i havent seen any issues with so far. i just wait a few minutes if i havnt run the node for a while. |

Just found out about this project and glanced over it and it is very promising. I wanted try mining BIS but I am a CPU miner and based on network hashrate, it doesn't seem worth it. However I will try to buy some from Cryptopia and will set up the node.
You are right. CPU-days are over a long time ago. The coin is still low at the moment so buy them is a good option. Do not buy too many due to I will buy a few in 2 weeks =) Good Luck anyway |

Everybody loves active development, but at some point the user experience could be better prioritized...
does it work or not? i always delete the old version(i do have a backup of wallet) then download and install the new one. works everytime for me. I can't "Send" coins now. - unlocked the wallet - hit "Send" - dialog pops up, cannot edit any values Am I missing something? that's probobly a bug so help the community to report it. text the details with version and os so they can fix it. have you tryed to delete the folder and reinstall it fresh? |

Wish the team focus a little bit more on marketing. More exposure means growing community, higher capitalization and flourishing ecosystem, which is in turn better for project development. We all know bismuth has a solid team and innovative product, but it's being forgotten in this bull run.
they are building from the ground up. this coin is still young in my eyes and might be "mature" for everone in at least 6 more mouths. better to make misstakes now when its 90% soild supporting people then if the misstakes came when its 30% and 70% drops off and never will go to this coin again. i like the speed of this and im sure it will be a soild coin in the furture. the "noobs" and casual miner/traders hopefully find out of this coin after 12 mouths from now. that would be the best. what do you think? |

can i mine direct to an exchange? which ones? ty
a list exist on eggpool homepage but do not cover many gpus so that would help a lot of people. about mining direct to an exchange is not a good thing to do because you cant put an text message(required) and the exchange dont know where to put the coins. exchanges uses the same address to avoid transfer fees for every trade, |

you should get around 5.5-6 bis a day at the moment so every second day a payout with 11-12 bis. |

I Really see this project as one of the best for a very long time, but there is always something that should be addressed. In this case, 10% Pool fee that goes to pool owner and development of miner. Really this is a problem that should be addressed or this project need other miners and mining pools quick. Would like to hear others opinion, but 10% for pool owner in all future seems crazy for a coin.
in their defence poolowners: ok, they earn alot of money. but still no options for us miners. the owners "work" with the pool and good support no matter the question. no other pool are better at the moment. dev: they also work with this and in the end. money makes people active. many updates to the software all the time. i see your point. but time will fix those "problems". 5% pools can happend at any time and devs 10% will dissapear when the coin has no big major update. |

gildinglite: if you type in wrong numbers then cryptopia store it in the wrong account. if you get an error in wallet then the amount of numbers might be wrong. no space or special char before or after your id? if not try the latest version of bismuth. if its not working then something is wierd. then im not the man to tell whats wrong.

[cryptopia msg id] Any ideas? the openfield shall contain the id cryptopia gave you. there is no way for cryptopia to know wehere to put the coins if you not doing it. should be around 10 digit code/id that belongs to you. |

Been having some problems sending funds from the browser wallet. Others that having the same issue?
What issue? Coins not beeing transferred? Always wait atleast a few blocks until the transaction will be confirmed. I think it is already solved? it doesent work. I still have the same funds at the wallet after the transaction. Yes i use "message" on cryptopia at the open field data. the time i used webwallet it showed no balance change after i send coins. i tried f5(update) the site and nothing happend. after like 10 mins it updated with all my updates =) if nothing lost then try again. webwallet is a 3rd party app and i suggest you to use node+wallet and copy your keys. when the time has come to use the coins then just run it all to move some money. |
