Nouriel Roubini - Lives in a bubble

Obviously knows nothing
"...What’s more – it is also used by criminals, for their shady business."..

This old chestnut - Oh duh, so is any bank or fiat dollar

.."He also said the blockchain technology should be separated from bitcoin"...

Still trying to wrap my head around that one

When you see this article it so obviously proves fake news

fun rant

1122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 08, 2017, 10:34:42 AM

Bitcoin = digital gold, who knew! But it as well shows it again might be driven in the hands of banks when we won't be able to increase the tx/s (blocksize / layer 2 / Graphene like efficiency increases, etc).

maybe this will do it

http://www.rsk.co/

Ginger is the public release of the open source Testnet Network. Powered by Bitcoin, the most secure distributed network in the world, users will be able to run their smart contracts in a platform that can scale up to 2.000 tx/sec on chain and 20.000 tx/sec off chain, providing the scalability needed for global financial solutions.
1123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 06, 2017, 09:47:19 PM

We are the few, the enlightened, the ones who See.

And that's not even an exaggeration.

meh
i make no claims

Last thing I remember these things were $300 a pop and I was making dick-tree jokes. I'm not even clever. Food for thought.
Well, genius and madness are almost the same thing. Only that one of them is useful.

I know nothing in terms of the amount of knowledge that is out there, but what i know compared to the general masses scares them.

Well then what about The Last Jedi?

It hasn't been released yet. So will this iteration of the franchise mean the end of bitcoin as it's run has come to an end in the new trilogy? Sad

http://www.rsk.co/ Ginger Release is Here

^You're welcome Smiley

Looking at Monthly and weekly RSI, we are quite overbought.

Yeah, not that I'm advocating that we pump the breaks for a bit, but, uhh, maybe we should consider... ah, nevermind.

TO THE MOON !!!

Achievement unlocked.

With this not even happening yet, when the news hit about $6000 USD,  is this the new floor

1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s everyone’s opinion on Ripple (XRP)? on: October 24, 2017, 08:16:53 AM
I use this one as an example and reflects any similar ones  "Ripple is over hyped and price manipulated coin"

Who cares, just play the game like they do with fiat

How much of a scam is your national dollar

Controlled by a central authority (bank), heavily involved with Government, manipulated currency, always in debt, allowed to make money out of thin air and lastly

CENTRALIZED

Now what if you were one of the ones to get in on the first floor in a debt riddled pyramid schemed economy, you would be very wealthy

Now all that matters is to choose the best scam.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s everyone’s opinion on Ripple (XRP)? on: October 24, 2017, 05:57:44 AM
Ripple

premined coin, software built (about 3 years ago) to be a payment exchange for crypto/fiat dollars to compete against bitcoin's lack of infrastructure

any coin that is premined (SCAM)

but developers did well with a good product and gained serious investors

https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/ripple-labs/investors/investors_list

Ripple has licensed its blockchain technology to over 100 banks

http://fortune.com/2017/10/23/bitcoin-ripple-brad-garlinghouse/

Current market report from ripple
https://ripple.com/insights/q3-2017-xrp-markets-report/

on the basis of these investors, community and growth i would buy some ripple

1130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 24, 2017, 02:40:26 AM
Money flowing back into alts post BTG...

why?

sell off should be Thursday, Friday as bitcoin gold all done

fake sell off, profit taking (likely, excellent amount of buy orders to sell into)

this dump has me stumped

1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO before the end of 2017 on: October 23, 2017, 09:54:39 AM
My bet for now is Universa and maybe BitClave. There is a lot of hype about the second one. The first one is pretty new, but very promising.

Worth looking into

This one really interesting. 50 Free UTN Tokens when you register...

Try here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2282340.0

TOP 10 UPCOMING ICOs 2017 Q4

read through the thread

check them out on coinmarketcap

see if they are on exchange

may be best to buy after ICO and wait till it hits exchange

lots of scammer shills and viruses.

research developers and investors behind coin
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long since you entered the crypto market on: October 22, 2017, 11:20:27 AM

4.5 years

many opportunities to get some wages, money or investments

e.g. found a cloud mining company with free account and got 0.1 btc per month for 12 months in 2014, thats now worth over $6000

be careful of viruses, scammers and shills - diversify investments (you will lose some but not all)

one thing is for sure

banks, industry and governments are now making their own crypto coin, everything is going crypto

smart contracts, banking, currency, shares/stocks, assets etc etc etc

stock exchanges are next with wall street using ledgerx digital blockchain
https://ledgerx.com/

this traders speculations are a good pick sometimes, remember they are only speculations

1134  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WEX.nz on: October 15, 2017, 04:57:11 AM
Although that might work, I choose not to participate in illegal or false claims that could make things worse in so many ways. I try to do whats right. I think I will be taking this matter to our government.

while your at it ask Donald to return my coins
1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 13, 2017, 06:54:44 PM
We might be seeing something stricter for bitcoin from few governments worldwide now. $5750 is not a joke any more.

Stricter than a ban??? LOL
No chance pal!
There is nothing governments can do except setting up laws they themselves probably won't follow!!And the people who want Bitcoin will always find ways to get it!
You can not stop that happening anymore!
Adopt or get left behind! That's it!!

how they are trying to stop the internet
Peer to Peer networking

War on file sharing
War on encryption
War on information
War on cryptocurrency

time for peer to peer currency to rise
1136  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WEX.nz on: October 13, 2017, 06:39:50 PM
Did anyone notice that in order for Wex to payout the tokens IOU's they need to go through the verification process? Anyone from the US basically won't be able to recover a full 1:1 from Wex essentially correct? I have a large amount of tokens but I don't want a nearly 60% loss on them.

You should take what you can get out in crypto quietly instead of announcing to the world that you are from the US in clear breech of WEX Terms of Use risking account suspension and loss of everything. Just be thankful the staff of WEX don't read this forum.

I'm sorry where did I state I reside in the USA? I along with many others are apprehensive about verifying due to the past history with btc-e/wex. I do not want all my documentation for them to have so as a result I might not have the chance to fully recover all my token value if I do not verify. So essentially I am in the same boat as the Americans. Just because I made that statement you implied I was a US citizen, shame you make accusations like that.

these are the risks of the new financial economy

high risk hopefully high return

the risk now is transparency, if not you must be a tax evader or criminal (statist control)

verification is the new tool and crypto is the tracker

first your tax, then where you are

the risk at non verification is low volume transactions, dodgy exchanges or running around for privacy or to minimize tax

1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blockfolio ~Bitcoin and Altcoin Portfolio App~ Android and iOS on: October 12, 2017, 03:48:14 AM

only issue is privacy, third party can see everything.

other than that looks great

1138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 11, 2017, 09:38:51 PM
It begins
https://www.acchain.org/en/
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1908143.0

digitization of your assets

from what i have heard

they created a token for tea in a warehouse and sold it as an ico
tea
https://www.acchain.org/en/news_detail.html?id=84

they bought land in texas and created a token for the land and sold it.
real estate
https://www.acchain.org/en/ret_ico.html (invitation only)

Is this the SDR special drawing rights of the IMF to enter the blockchain

and will it result in making bitcoin illegal?
1139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 11, 2017, 06:39:46 PM
Because events like this unfold, I protest the root of it by supporting something better. BTC
To me it feels like the only solid recourse I have to fight with outside of speaking to others what I see.
Bitcoin is more deadly than guns for the 1% and if we succeed, it will be because enough see it the same way.

Amen! I just don't want to play the same old game. Wondering what is and isn't government manipulation, or if the means could ever justify their "end".

I am not really paranoid or care much for the charade upon charade of politics (especially US). I just want my books, a sailboat and financial freedom.

thoughts and prayers though, of course of course

Ancient Slavery
Yesterdays Monarchy
Todays Governemnt

Getting better everytime

it is always there, something/someone trying to overpower the herd

live within the repercussions of the time and always do it your way
