Merculet has built an open content platform that is based on consensus and driven by Tokens, becoming the sources of user attention, and encouraging all the users in the ecosystem to actively promote the positive cycle of the global content ecosystem as participants. This and more is why I believe strongly in a strong team. With recent strategic partnerships as a result, this project is definitely positioned to disrupt its niche.

I read the whitepaper and not so surprisingly, each time I read it, I find one new thing that blows me away. Egretia integrates Egret’s proven workflow into its blockchain interface layer, thus all HTML5 games have access to the world's first complete blockchain development suite. Furthermore, this interface framework, not only supports Egretia’s own public chain, but also can be extended to support Ethereum, EOS and other public chains in the future. This is awesome and holds a huge potential for mainstream adoption.

Merculet has a combination of top team, top project and an impeachable roadmap. This was carefully orchestrated by a highly motivated and technically competent research team. Working with a reputable management company such as krypital also brought so much energy and the needed enthusiasm to the community. I am waiting with a great anticipation for the launch of TGE. Incredible idea!!

Going through the whitepaper, I was thrilled by the deep contents and how adventurous the team is.. it gives me goose pnimples, especially the part that underpins user attention. Merculet provides a full solution to help entrepreneurs issue UATs (User Attention Tokens), which is the designated tokens for each entrepreneur. The UAT will be anchoring the basic MVP token with different rates, enabling the synergy and the value exchange between entrepreneurs. This is absolutely phenomenon.

If one puts thoughts towards such a thing as airdrop, one would consider the nitty gritty stuff involved in filtering out the coins with less or no potentials. Some airdrops are good indeed, but most airdrops air worthless imo. To be able to catch the good ones, you have to either be whitelisted in an ICO that sold out during a private presell, on a platform that hosts Dapps or an early bird to a promising ICO. Admittedly, there are good opportunities to grab a huge token with airdrops but such huge payouts are rare lately. I suggest you look into good ICO listing websites, join ICO public discussions and with a little extra work you would be able to pick good projects to invest with a promise of a fair ROI. At the moment Merculet and Egretia are good options to consider if I should offer some subtle perspective.

ICO is just like going to the factories to buy products before they are brought to the open market. Such strategy is not entirely safe 100% of the time. You may be genius at picking good products at ICO stage and when they hit the market, you smile home with a huge ROI. You could be wrong some other time and the project goes under at birth. This is both thrilling as well as risky to say the least. On the other hand, if you dyor and participate in bounty campaigns, at least you won't be investing your money to receive some coins and if the project succeeds, it becomes a win win for you. Finally, signature campaign is awesome if you are at least a full member. The percentage allocated to signature is shared among a handful few participants compared to social media with thousands of participants.

This question made me chuckle and ponder for a while to be sure I got the perspective of the OP. Just as @Xester already made it abundantly clear why it is difficult or almost impossible to pursue such endeavor due to the decentralized and open source nature of bitcoin, I would also add that the key institutional investors would not need any sort of bounty to look the way of bitcoin. At the moment, the key to mainstream adoption imo, has a lot to do with media. Media more often than not sway peoples' emotions perhaps deliberately to favor who pays the piper. However, rather than worry about a free giveaway that albeit could be achieved by a targeted bitcoin charity organization, we can focus on educating folks about the core objectives of bitcoin. With a good education and perhaps a fair media support, bitcoin does not or would never need a traditional bounty campaign. People in this forum have a fair knowledge already.

If you are a noob, it is important you engage yourself consistently with alt coin discussion fora on telegram and social media platforms. That way you would be able to follow key analysis and public opinions first, then you could pick up a select few ICO and research further privately. Also, some websites like icodrop publish ICOs under different categories. They invest in some of these ICOs and you would at least have an idea of what is a fair project before focusing on 'em. Regarding Merculet that you mentioned, imo, is a phenomenon project with passionate and adventurous team. I am also a fan of Merculet atm. So I think it is not a bad start for you.
