Advertising Bitcoin as an easy profit is a really bad idea. That is not why Bitcoin was created! I'm fine with people treating Bitcoin as an investment but I hate people who are not even trying to understand it and blame it every time something goes wrong (hard forks, high fees, slow transactions etc).

Some people are afraid of losing money but they also want to earn ton of it without doing much. I have risked a lot of money few years ago and it paid off. Now, I run a mining farm and trade because I have a lot of spare time. I decided to quit my job and study more about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Even if China would release their own cryptocurrency it would differ from Bitcoin. It wouldn't have a fixed supply and it would centralised. So there's no point for them to replace their fiat with cryptocurrency. As far as I know, cashless transactions thanks to Weechat are widely used in China so it won't be difficult to introduce it.

That is quite impressive to see Bitcoin reaching again its ATH. We have had a few of them this year, haven't we? In my opinion, we will reach $10000 easily by the end of this year. I can't wait for the 2018, it will be even better than 2017 which was already great for cryptocurrencies.

You are wrong. Bitcoin does have a limited supply. As you said, every person here can create their own hardfork of Bitcoin so why didn't you create your own Bitcoin in order to exchange in to the real one? That's quite simple. Someone is willing to pay for hardforked coins because such person thinks they might be worth more in the future. No support from community = your hardfork is worthless.

I use blockchain, jaxx and mew wallets. In my opinion, these wallets are one of the most reliable and convenient. Although of course you cannot be sure of reliability by 100%
I wouldn't recommend you these 2 wallets. Many people have been complaining that their money disappeared. I would recommend you to use a software wallet such as Electrum or Bitcoin Core. Having control of your private keys is really important. That's why web wallets and exchanges are dangerous for keeping your bitcoins for longer period of time - you have no control of your private keys.

I'm using Ledger Nano S right now and I'm not satisfied. The build quality is terrible. The device scratched easily even though it was laying on my desk all the time. I decided to order Trezor T mostly because: - I use only Ethereum, Bitcoin and its hardforks, - Touchscreen - faster pin/passphrase typing, easier to view destination address - MicroSD support, Ledger runs out of space after installing only 3 apps! With MicroSD you will be able to store your data which will be encrypted.

No, of course you are not too late! It's been 9 years since Satoshi Nakamoto published the Whitepaper which described how Bitcoin would work. Every year the price of Bitcoin has been increasing. Just look what happened this year! You should consider investing in BTC because it has a huge opportunity to revolutionize banking.

As far as I remember, Bitcoin price has decreased much higher than 20% a few times. I wouldn't be worried about my life savings. I would be angry that I haven't sold my BTC at the ATH in order to buy it after the price decreased.

These days, earning with Bitcoin doesn't equal doing illegal things. People used to associate Bitcoin with illegal activity some time ago but it has changed. Now, many people are investing in cryptocurrencies, mostly in mining which by some people is said to be one of the most profitable methods. In my opinion, investing directly in Bitcoin is more profitable.

I'm not really surprised that some people prefer to use Bitcoin over fiat. Bitcoin is much faster, safer and more anonymous when it comes to international transfers and the most important: such transactions are available 24 hours a day unlike conventional banking in my country. I wouldn't use Bitcoin for small payments because they are too slow for that.

Blockchain.info wallet is not safe, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you can't afford buying a hardware wallet then I would recommend you to use a software wallet. Unlike the web wallet, software wallets such as Electrum or Bitcoin Core give you full control of your private keys and they don't send it anywhere else. You can even use them offline!

Bitcoin is definitely a good investment. There is no inflation on Bitcoin. Nobody can create additional bitcoins from nothing. That is why I think that cryptocurrencies will replace current financial system. It will take a lot of time and effort but in my opinion it is worth it. It is just a matter of time before people will dream of having 1 or maybe even half BTC.
|
|
|
I also think that Bitcoin won't be replaced by any altcoin. Bitcoin was the first one to be known by so many people. Almost every altcoins price depends on Bitcoin value. If Bitcoin value increases, altcoin value decreases.

There isn't any specific time to buy Bitcoin. We are just after correction so there is high possibility that Bitcoin price will increase anytime soon.
|
|
|
And it is another hardfork which will be ignored by the vast majority of Bitcoin users. I wouldn't even bother to transfer my BTC somewhere else in order to receive free Bitcoin Diamond.

Nothing impressive at all. A lot of newbies have already posted such examples of low Bitcoin price in the past. I haven't invested in Bitcoin in 2009 because I hadn't had any idea that something like this existed. That's why I'm trying to mine and buy as many bitcoins as possible. I spend a lot of time on bitcointalk and on other websites related to cryptocurrencies.

Nothing to worry about. Bitcoin always recover from correction. Some time ago it took weeks to get the price back to its original state but know Bitcoin became so popular that people start to buy it when Bitcoin is affordable for them. It is really easy to earn on corrections but you have to know when to sell and when to buy. This is the only difficulty in this process.

Many different people use Bitcoin in many different ways. I personally prefer not to use Bitcoin for daily purchases. I prefer to hold my Bitcoin. The only things I'm using it for is paying my electricity bills. I don't have to worry about sending BTC to an exchange, selling it, cashing out and then paying income tax. It was too much hassle for me.

We can't really tell who Satoshi Nakamoto is. We have not enough evidence to be 100% sure. In my opinion, it is good that we don't know his real identity. I would rather see Satoshi Nakamoto with helping us to solve some kind of difficult problem which could halve the community. Time will tell us, we have to be patient. There is a rumor that Satoshi is a group of people.
