141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: first term "HODL" on: December 01, 2018, 01:36:19 PM
There is no general consensus or agreement as to which is the right path to take while investing/trading,it all has to do with which is convenient for you and likely to yield you profits after you must have studied the marketcap and make your own speculations/predictions

There are investors with a life long investment and wouldn't even sell if the price hits 50kUSD, there are also some who are waiting for a minor pump to sell off, decisions vary so does investments(capital)

Traders aren't much of hodlers and they are in for the short term profits, while investors trade long term (mostly invest with larger capital than the normal trader)and maximize larger profits

That's right. Many people just hold onto their assets or coins since it's the best way to save your investment from being hit by a definite loss. It's like you're just waiting for the perfect time on when to cash out depending on the status of the coin in the market. The usual is that most people, especially these days, try to patiently hold so that they won't experience a loss if they sell for a lower value from the price point they bought their assets for. Since the market is always shifting in trends and is changing prices, mostly decreasing, it gives an investor the bird's eye view to see the market as a who while waiting to see if selling would be a good move or not depending on the status of the coins and them market.

I know that the largest investors often become hodlers, not simply holders. It means that they are ready not to sell the cryptocurrencies for at least 2 or even three years. They HODL.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should investors trust ethereum anymore? on: December 01, 2018, 01:33:45 PM
I still have confidence in ETH although currently the price is very low but maybe when Bitcoin goes up then ETH will recover and attract more investors.I think that ETH will good for long-term goals.

I suspect that Ethereum price will not change sufficiently this year and this winter. However, in future, this altcoin will return its fame and popularity. I trust this project, and I am ready to invest in ETH.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where To Invest 500$ on: November 23, 2018, 11:12:12 AM
You should invest in Bitcoin now probably the most reasonable when the crypto market drops a lot. With $ 500 i think you buy Bitcoin will get a lot of profits when the market returns.

Now, I will better wait a bit to understand clearly, which of the cryptocurrencies will be the best gainers next year. When I realize it, I will invest exactly in these altcoins. I make stakes on TRON.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: it's time to buy ethereum on: November 23, 2018, 11:08:42 AM
Yes now is the right time to buy etherium as investment for a long term , because once it goes high in value you can gain more profits from it. Etherium is like bitcoin in terms of gaining more profits in a long term , they are for a long term investments and for a long term gaining of profits. Now that the market is in dip , its not only etherium to buy for invesment , there are also many coins to buy and good to invest for long term and for short term.

Yes, still, the prices for this altcoin are extremely low. It means that Ethereum is going to start the race. Thus, it will be better to choose exactly this cryptocurrency - the returns will be high.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does making investment right now is still safe? on: November 23, 2018, 11:06:30 AM
There is no such as safe investment in crypto. ICO market is not regulated and  current market conditions are not favoring
the investments, but still there are many good new projects, we just have to find them and analyze them.

Each one, who want to invest in the cryptocurrency must remember one thing: it is never safe. The risk that you can become a loser, especially when you are beginner is always very high. meanwhile, you can earn a lot also.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2018, 11:04:04 AM
if you look at prices from the beginning to the present, the current situation may be just a cycle, you know why this situation looks bad? because we were used to rising prices yesterday or seeing high exchange rates, so when prices go down we all feel unprepared, angry and disappointed, but if you are a true investor you must already have a strong mentality to deal with this situation, hopefully there will be good news later this year, and this storm is fleeting so that loyal investors don't get disappointed again and we can reap the rewards of our patience , actually I am a little disappointed with you, if the senior at least what you post gets more trust from the reader and the source of reference, you should post something useful and give encouragement instead of complaints and fears like this, do you want to contribute to this situation? Do you want all this to end?

I believe that this is the truth. If you examine the market and check the cryptocurrencies rates for many years, you will see that even the worst periods happened before. The bulls will come for sure.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Bitcoin owners? on: November 21, 2018, 11:10:14 AM
In my opinion, most people who have a lot of bitcoin are hiding their identities, because the anonymous nature of bitcoin is an option for many people in the world or maybe other people who have many famous bitcoin celebrities.
that's right, I agree with you because not nearly everyone does not want to show that they have bitcoin or are involved in cryptocurrency, everyone has their own reasons and for me in a country that has not received bitcoin then I do not expose that I have bitcoin.

Many celebrities do not hide that they own Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. For instance, Paris Hilton, Mike Tyson, Ashton Kutcher, Donald Glover state that they have already made money on the crypto.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoins are down... by a lot on: November 21, 2018, 11:02:56 AM
A lot of my coins have also dropped significantly in price but I think we can wait a few more months. If after the beginning of the growth of Bitcoin tokens do not begin to grow then I will sell tokens
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you HODL because you believe the price will go up? Or are you lost too much? on: November 21, 2018, 10:57:06 AM
I wonder if you HODL because you believe the price will go up? Or are you lost too much already so you don't see any reason to sell because you won't be satisfied with the money you will cash out?
I have this self-conflict for a few months already
Many do not sell their bitcoins because they believe that the price will rise and it will be possible to earn more money, some simply do not know what will be right, sell or hold the coins. It seems to me that you can leave some of the coins for the future, and use some for trading.

I have also lost a lot, but I believe in the cryptocurrencies as well. I know that finally, the market will rise, and the investors will return their money. Thus, I have become a hodler.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm afraid of losing money on: November 20, 2018, 04:00:21 PM
Everyone is afraid of loosing money, especially being hacked is the worst.  But the most safest way to keep funds in cold storage.
I remember that saying, no risk no gain:)

Telling sincerely investing in cryptocurrency is a risky deal. That's the clear thing, we all know it. But if your fears disturb you too much then you must leave crypto or find out the way to tame your feelings.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: November 20, 2018, 03:57:26 PM
I am not against innovation, because it is totally necessary for any economy, the problem comes when you create many alts that are the same, for example, we already have bitcoin cash, bitcoin, now a new fork, then dash and although they have slight differences, practically have the same purpose.

In my point of view there are too many altcoins on the market. This is not a problem or maybe this is a problem for young inexperienced users. In any case these small unknown cryptocurrencies will fade away within the time.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: November 20, 2018, 03:55:04 PM
I think most investor's are being skeptical to invest on ICO's at the moment because most project are not that quite good enough to satisfy or convince them that the project will succeed. Also one factor is that because the crypto market is falling and i don't think it's the right time to invest on ICO's.

Cryptocurrency market is too difficult. Many professional investors prefer to invest their money into assets which are more predictable. At the same time many inexperienced users are very interested in crypto.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: November 20, 2018, 03:52:48 PM
For me, Bitcoin or other Crypto can help my financial be better, I'm getting Bitcoin/Crypto with Trading
or following to the various campaign in this Bitcointalk forum and the result of it I use to fullfill needs of my life.

Everything started with Bitcoin for me. It was the greatest beginning of the new life that I have now. I can say that the cryptocurrency has given me the second, very tough and profitable job.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The whole market is red, but is it worth panicking now? on: November 20, 2018, 03:50:48 PM
Soon it will be time to panic when the market really starts to panic. I think it's not over yet.

What is driving me and keeping me going? That is my belief that cryptomarket will grow in any case. Some talks about crypto like about informational boost and nothing more. But it is a foolish idea.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumbest thing you did in Crypto as a noob on: November 20, 2018, 03:48:32 PM
Things would have been more than one dumbest. I sold the coin to the scammer - but there were not so many coins.
The worse thing was when I sold coins under the price of $ 0.65, and for two months this cryptocurrency was at $ 14 (I had over 4300 coins).

At my beginning, I had many doubts about what I am doing. Where are guarantees that I will win, I thought? Now I understand that made the right choice to stay in this area and work in it for some years.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ALTCOINS going green! on: November 20, 2018, 03:45:06 PM
The current situation of the whole coinmarketcap is red and the Altcoins are the same. I hope Bitcoin will quickly return to the $ 6,000 level, the situation of the new Altcoins can change well and Altcoins can be green maintain.

Check the cryptocurrencies prices regularly, and you will see that they change all the time. The time of the red bloodbath is over, and most of the crypto holders waiting for the bulls.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learning is earning! on: November 20, 2018, 03:42:31 PM
While many of us wants to earn from cryptocurrency, we must also take into consideration of going through the process of learning about it of course. Learning is always the first step. As you can see there is "EARNING" in the word "LEARNING". So that's it, we have to learn if we want to earn.
Do you believe me? What do you say?

I work on different information about cryptocurrency very hard for a long time yet. For me it seems very important. And I am responsible for every my decision. So it should be reasonable, with arguments.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you selective when you participating in ICOs? on: November 20, 2018, 03:40:09 PM
I select some ICOs from crypto differ, Ian balina website and ico drops.
In this case I am sure in quality of icos and don't need to make deep analysis

I don't look on advertisements searching for good reliable projects. Much more important is to find the people who are talented and responsible. So, see the project team. It is core idea that bring success.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ? on: November 16, 2018, 05:35:06 PM
Long time ago I made investments. And I don't regret. Long-term holding and investing in good famous reliable coins have made my life stable and give me more free time for self-education.
