21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for Jupiter (JUP)!!!! on: February 05, 2024, 11:35:04 PM
Honestly, I don't know or don't follow this news. What I know is that airdrop hunters are very happy when they get JUP tokens, especially when JUP enters Binance. I'm sure the price will increase significantly with the tokens entering Binance. I only know that news.
What about you? Did you take part in the airdrop and enjoy the tokens? Also give us your opinion too
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good time to buy Aptos on: February 05, 2024, 11:22:22 PM
Aptos is another huge altcoin rise most of us missed. Being a new generation L1 utility coin Aptos still might be a good investment for the future.
Aptos has risen upto $18 last year and is currently in a lower price of around $9. The reason why this coin is in this price is due the the series of unlocks and release of previously frozen funds for developers, investors and for the foundation. The release don't mean all of it would be sold but it certainly increases the liquidity of the coin.
The release took place in december, january and there are planned ones in february. so, I believe it's a good time to accumulate on aptos when they are below $10 as they could be the next one to hit $100.

It's true that there are lots of factors for Aptos to rise in the next bull run, such as Move Smart Contract, Proof-of-Stake and others, especially since Aptos is also called the Solana killer, that's my view about Aptos.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: February 05, 2024, 11:07:39 PM
September is the last decline this year so far, because in October and November Bitcoin and the market continued to rise, but at the end of this month there are still more than 20 days left, we will not know whether Bitcoin will continue to rise or will fall.
buying now and building your portfolio is not a bad thing.

That's right, I agree with your opinion in February 2024, build your portfolio from now, if you start today, build your portfolio before the impact of the halving arrives, in installments from now on, don't ever wait or time the market in altcoin installments that according to your research have the potential to rise, remember based on your own research so that your portfolio growth grows rapidly
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do? on: February 05, 2024, 08:49:22 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto is a famous figure in the crypto market, and perhaps worldwide at the moment, because he created Bitcoin - the first crypto and opened the blockchain & crypto era. There have been many searches for Satoshi's true identity but no one has been successful. There is someone claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto but cannot prove it when he cannot move BTC from Satoshi Nakamoto's address[1].

For many people, Satoshi's anonymity is one of the most important assets of the Bitcoin blockchain because it keeps Bitcoin from being an asset managed by any individual[2]. However, today I think of a case when Satoshi Nakamoto reappeared and made the crypto community vibrant again in many ways: discuss on crypto forums, move a few satoshis from his address, send a message to the crypto community via Inscription...

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would probably send the entire 1M BTC to charities around the world. I would not dare to appear and have my identity revealed for fear of endangering my life. Bitcoin has succeeded beyond all initial expectations  Grin

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
  • Would you dare to appear in public?
  • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
  • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
  • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
  • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
  • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?

References:
[1] Who Is Satoshi Nakamoto?
[2] Why has Satoshi Nakamoto remained anonymous?

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto I would stay behind the scenes with the Bitcoins I have I would not sell any of them I would share them with all the world in need I would not reveal my identity to anyone and would not accept invitations to any country or country. anyone and continue to support the development of blockchain so that the whole world uses this technology in the future and regardless of the name fiat, that's my view if I were Satoshi Nakamoto
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What memecoins are you holding atm? on: February 05, 2024, 07:08:34 PM
Many of you know that memecoins are all the rage right now, but with so many to choose from, it can be hard to know which ones are worth investing in. If you're thinking about jumping on memecoin, it's important to do your research and understand the risks involved.
So personally, I'm currently holding two memecoins that I believe have the potential for significant growth: $WIF and $BABYDRAGON.

I know we are all going for the gains in memecoins, so I currently have these two, which can possibly give me some gains. And $BABYDRAGON is one of the memecoin I'm  looking out for most, since it has some momentum and is about to be introduced to platforms like Bitget market, with potential opportunity for an uptrend.

You guys can also give me suggestions on memecoins, like what key factors should I consider before investing in it?

I actually don't like memecoins, but I also have only 2 memecoins, namely doge and shiba. I have been buying them in installments little by little since last year. Moreover, these two dog coins are Elon Musk's favorite coins which can be said to be doge father. I'm sure this dog coin will be I hope it will have its golden years again, just like in 2021
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: February 04, 2024, 09:03:05 PM
If it is with the mentioned importance, then answer is no. Meme coins are most of the time not having utility and therefore not haaving enough usage to pull investors towards this industry. However, it is a profitable coin as we saw on the previous years such as with SHIB, $PEPE, and more. It just happened to be most of the time manipulated by whales due to high token supply and low market value. Succeeding memetokens are having high market price increase on its listing with different exchangers especially big ones such as Binance. Problem is the fact that not all meme tokens are having the same outcome upon listing so better be careful of going all out. It would be much better to wait for corrections in its price. If I would be asked, I think meme coins are only okay for short term investments.

I have experienced doing some swing trades with meme tokens and fortunately I gained decent profit. However if it is a coin to be advised over major coins, then I doubt of it especially those which are still on price ceilings at this point. A good alternative for me if it is among other altcoins in this industry but not having that much of an impact in general.

I really agree with your statement that meme coins are a short term investment, just like gambling. In my opinion, meme tokens are not worth buying because the risk is very high. This is just hype or a trend, while it is better to buy altcoins than memecoins. I think that's the case. I'm just sharing my view. I am against memecoin because memecoin is not one of the most important in this industry

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chances for approving a spot Ethereum ETF? on: February 04, 2024, 08:58:28 PM
What are the odds for the SEC to approve a spot ETF for Ethereum by May? Gary Gensler used to say ETH is a security back then, but things could change now that Bitcoin spot ETFs were recently approved by the regulating entity. Market prices for ETH have been going down lately after BTC's downfall to $41k. So I'm wondering, is now the time to buy more ETH or should I wait for another dip?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Now is the time, I think, don't ever time the market, it's better to pay in installments rather than wait and wait and have regrets later. That's my principle in investing in cryptocurrency because no one can predict that.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC future growth potential on: February 04, 2024, 08:55:56 PM
I hear a lot of voices saying that BTC's price will go through the roof when the monetary system goes down.
I've heard predictions of BTC going 4x in 2024. Others say 33x in years to come.

Is there any estimated guess on how high Ethereum can go?
While the growth of BTC depends on the loss of confidence in regular currencies (dollar, euro..) it seems that the growth of ETH is not dependent on this.
I often hear people talk about BTC value explosion, while it seems that growth of ETH price is more gradual and linear. So basically a lower expected return on investment.

Also, after BTC surviving for more than 10 years and not even the Chinese government being able to stop it, I am quite confident it can not be stopped.
But can ETH somehow be stopped? Confiscated or devalued when exchanges are attacked

The investment I can afford right now is 1 BTC and 1 ETH.
I barely have fixed costs for the next 2 years so I can slowly stack up.
But I don't know if the same amount is better invested in let's say 0.5 BTC and 5 ETH. That will depend on growth potential and safety
Also if the government somehow finds a way to attack BTC, owning 5 ETH can compensate for the other investment that didn't work out.
I would like to diversify, but don't find many suited options to diversify in.

It depends on you, in my opinion, if you want to maintain your wealth, pay it in installments or keep buying Bitcoin, but if you want to build your wealth, maybe ETH is the answer, now Madi, there is quite significant upside potential, that's what I think.

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: February 04, 2024, 08:50:15 PM
Many people have gained trust that we are automatically back to the bullrun, this made them to be free in choosing altcoin and newly launched tokens without knowing that cryptocurrency price action and movement are so unpredictably. It could be high at this very moment and In the next few moments we may witness a serious dip without knowing what propelled to such rejection in price.

Deep down inside out minds we taught the halving is already there, so therefore we are free to still make whatever choices we want since any coin we buy and hold makes progress during the bullrun, It would likely affect us by making wrong choice. Do your research and never rely on anyone to give you accurate information about any projects because it's your money and by no chance did those people contributed to you.

Good luck and stay safe while we patiently wait to swimming into bull season.

That's right, because no one can predict whether the market will rise or fall, keep researching before buying, avoid investments that you don't know what you're investing in, so you don't experience losses in investing and don't equate investing with gambling, it's very different, be a smart investor so you can make a profit in investing
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will still be my choice this year. on: February 04, 2024, 06:39:18 PM
If they ask me to make a choice on altcoin to invest in this new year, Ethereum will still be my choice because I know that their team are strong team and they are capable to make Ethereum the king among all the altcoins in the market for investors to continue making it for their choice. If you look at the altcoins market very well you will see that Ethereum is about to reach $3k and if it happen this year it will help those of us that are lovers of Ethereum to make another huge amount of profits from the market. I know, we still have some good altcoins in the market to invest and everyone has his own choice to make in the market to invest in any altcoins of his or her choice which I chose Ethereum as my choice this year, what is your own choice in altcoins investment if they ask you to invest again in altcoins?

Do you think I make a good choice this year or I should include BNB so that if one is delaying me in the market, I can try the other one to achieve what I want .

I really agree with you, ethereum is the most altcoin in my portfolio, 80% of my altcoin portfolio is in eth, why eth, because eth is the king of altcoins and the bitcoin killer, according to the crypto community in the world, I'm sure eth will break its all time high when bullish markets are the same as events like 2021, hopefully it happens again, I'm very optimistic about eth, but remember, this is not financial advice, keep doing your own research.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When it comes to selling , is it best to convert or sell for cheaper fees? on: January 30, 2024, 10:59:24 PM
A few of my altcoins are pumping and I want to take some profits to put into others that have not pumped yet but wondering what is the best way of doing this on Coinbase?

Is it best to convert from one altcoin to the other or is it best to sell the altcoin then buy the new altcoin I want to invest more in?

I think you should sell altcoins that are profitable and buy altcoins that are not yet profitable, but this complicates your choice a bit. My advice is that you take profit first or profit from altcoins that are profitable then buy into other altcoins
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between new tokens and old tokens, which would you invest into? on: January 30, 2024, 10:55:50 PM
The bull market is approaching and after that, the altcoin season will start as it has done in other bullish time for the market. Everyone has to be planning for what they'll buying in preparation for the bull run therefore I have a question for everyone. What altcoins will you be buying in preparation for the altcoin season if you only have limited option to choose between investing in old tokens, projects that were launched before or during last bull market or tokens that were launched between last year, this year and the next year. Let assume you only have $1000 and you can put this money in 1-5 projects but they all have to be either old tokens or new tokens that you'll be buying. Which one will you go for, for those that will think they can choose the two type of projects, that won't be possible. I'm trying to see where the attention of investors go when selecting tokens to invest into for the altcoin season.

maybe if I had 1000$ to invest in altcoins I would go all in on eth I think it's worth it but you asked me to divide it into 5 so I did it
1.ETH
2. SOLANA
3. RNDR
4.BNB
5. ARB
that's the token that I predict will fly during the bullish market in my personal view but keep in mind this is not investment advice, keep doing your own research so you don't experience losses
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world soon become tired of the US dollar? on: January 30, 2024, 10:51:52 PM
Just like that, BRICS now controls almost 28% of a global economy that's worth  over $28.5 Trillion.
The economy keeps getting worse and the hike both as concerns interest rates and crypto transaction fees has increased and keeps doing so yearly.

Recently, we see countries like Saudi Arabia,  the UAE that has been making waves with several investments that may include multimillion dollar soccer stars signings, building the tallest building in the world, development of tourism and attractions that bewildered the mind. Also, Iran,  Egypt and Ethiopia has officially joined BRICS and although Argentina rejected the invitation, one question is this,

Are we seeing a time where BRICS currency and cryptocurrencies are the answer to a world tired of the us dollar?

https://watcher.guru/news/brics-welcome-2024-by-officially-adding-5-expansion-nations

Please remember, this is just my personal assumption, so what I say is what I think right now
I think yes, the purpose of creating Brics Sara Rasa is that these countries want to be free from the dollar and want new things in the world to not be tied to the US dollar anymore as a means of foreign buying and selling transactions, even some countries use the Chinese currency yuan to keep them rich. Sara, if you want to get away from the US dollar, Bitcoin and Brics are the right choice

34  Economy / Economics / Re: My life plan for wealth and btc good idea on: January 30, 2024, 08:48:25 PM
All i need Are one good person who actually knows btc prices so all i need is just to know btc price.
When i buy low sell high and same time i load up alt coins so i make huge money.
And world is kind of finances Crisis i better don't do btc money but working with btc but for this we need to know exacly btc price movements best If someone can teach me how to know btc prices or If not Im ready to Pay for it.
Im not here to gamble Im here to do sure money and for sure profit.

So this how my Life dream and yours Also nobody don't need to work If they know btc prices.

Firstly, no one knows whether the price of BTC will rise or fall, this is just a prediction or people's personal view of BTC. You have to study and research it yourself. Bitcoin will rise or fall based on what you know. Never be fomo about something on the internet. Do your own research, never listen to what other people say on the internet, that's my advice so that you yourself know when Bitcoin is going up or down

35  Economy / Economics / Re: Passion for skills. on: January 30, 2024, 08:25:38 PM
Hey people.

So just for fun and a little bit of insights for people who aren't into any skills yet, I created this thread. It can also serve as a means of motivation for those who haven't started learning any skills yet.

So, we all know how important skills are not only on an individual basis but also on that of the economy, and many of us without doubt are either in the process of learning or already earning from skills. Needless to say, many global brands started as a result of skills learned and used to benefit people. The creators of Adidas,  puma, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and even sports professionals, etc all learned and practiced their skills more than enough to become the best of the best.

So, my question is very simple. What skills are you currently learning or have learned and are earning from, and what is the reason why you picked it?

I am currently studying information technology and I am also studying AI. I am studying these two things because I think these 2 skills will be very useful in the future with today's technology which is getting more advanced day by day. That is the reason I am studying information technology and AI.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is the only crypto you should BUY on: January 29, 2024, 11:37:12 PM
The way I see it, all bullshit token and coin abandons are done for this one reason; they only have one purpose which I will explain better...
We saw Luna and FTT are made for a reason which is to support those companies themselves, the day these companies drop their token or their currency will drop too.

That's why for me bitcoin is perfection because this previous one is multipurpose and its foundation is to avoid intermediaries there are no companies managing it, we will not be able to match satoshi due to the price drop(thats a clever move for him to stay behind the scenes).

Because we know that satoshi does not depend on a company to reinforce bitcoin.
And with this I finish all the currencies are a scam(meaning that the price can disappear) for me, personally  the legit ones they are btc and tether.

What do you think?

I agree with you because crypto is decentralized, what's more, bitcoin is not tied to the government or anyone else and satoshi can't even make bitcoins, plus I think it's just purely tied to a computer network without a third party peer to peer, that's why we have to buy bitcoin. Bitcoin is also flexible to carry everywhere, just memorize or remember the seed phrase 12 words, we move countries, our assets all move, how flexible BTC is if you take it anywhere, it's really worth it to buy BTC with its features and uses.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is cheaper with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general on: January 29, 2024, 11:31:28 PM
I don't know about you guys, but for me, I have discovered that the longer one save in fiat, that is, hold fiat, the more life gets expensive, this is because fiat is known to lose value overtime for several reasons, when fiat loses value, they lose purchasing power, goods and services become more expensive, which in turn makes life more expensive.

This experience I coined from the current economic hardship my country is going through.
The naira lost significant value against some other major fiat currencies, most especially the dollar, this has made things in the country very expensive, which has also made life very expensive to live here in Nigeria.

But for those who have been saving investing, saving in bitcoin, and maybe some other major cryptocurrencies, life is cheaper as we all have seen that overtime, the price of bitcoin increases, and when this happens, major altcoins too experience the boom, thereby making good profit for those who spent fiat accumulating when the prices are low.

This is why I personally implore us all to be wise in how we choose to save our money,
Keep one million dollars in the bank for 10 years, by the time the 10 years is over, you pull out your one million and discover it can't buy much because things are no longer at the same price as they were 10 years ago.

But keep one million dollars in bitcoin for 10 years, by the end of the 10 years, one million dollars must have turned into 5 million dollars or more, and even if things have become more expensive in the market, this money will pay for it all and you will still have a lot of money left to do other things.

That's right, why saving or saving Bitcoin makes our lives cheaper in the future because the value or price of Bitcoin goes up every year, which is different from fiat, the value of fiat every year definitely goes down, that's why the price of necessities this year and the next 10 years is very different because there are inflation and fiat value decrease every year
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments must have good plan very soon on: January 29, 2024, 11:26:48 PM
Anyone who you know know someone who don't have money no Jobs.
People cant afford the housing cant pay bills and goverment just watching no actions.
It's all falling down the landlords soon can't pay utilities becouse of rent debts.
I have friend who use to rent out apartments and now he can't collect Even rent money people don't that have coused Him problems and he have to sell his second car but even with low price hard to sell car.
Things going bad shops around the world just put prices up to cover stolen funds people steal from the shops like never before soon all the shops must be protected by military.
Anyone knows plans how to make us normal again the property time like was covid19 when Money and wealth was normal thing.
World is very close to martial law when military will secure streets police not enough becouse poverty change people

But this not what we use to we are use to with Luxury and good life people don't Understood how to live If wealthy life is not the essence.

Only way will be unite and trust each others If elite dont start support people average people can collect their own funds and use cryptocurrency If fiat system falling.

But goverments should have some plan i wait airdrop of money for each people AT least 2000-3000$ without working ubi income

It's true that the government has a good plan, but if we don't want to change ourselves to become rich, we are the most selfish people because we always put our hopes in other people. My advice is don't ever put your hopes in other people, change yourself for the better.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump sells $2.4 million worth of ETH on: January 29, 2024, 09:55:16 PM
Presidential candidate and the most popular leader of the United States, Donald Trump is unsurprisingly not a huge fan of crypto but it's found that he has been profiting from the crypto riches.
The Ethereum came from a NFT on Trump theme. Though trump was not associated with the project, he got royalties from it in the form of Ethereum. The project is licensed from the Trump's company to use Trumps name and features. The royalties were over 1075 which the trump team recently sold for $2.4 million.
The use of crypto by presidential candidate is a sign of easing up with crypto and we could further see candidates accepting donations via crypto.

https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/01/36743035/donald-trump-sold-2-4-million-ethereum-smart-move-or-big-mistake

My personal assumption is that maybe Trump should look a little at the crypto market, especially since it is very important in America and the world crypto community. maybe if trump becomes president he will look a little into the crypto market, for example his company agrees or gives a license to use trump's name and features as nft

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about Solana tokens? Are they worth it? on: January 29, 2024, 07:58:29 PM
Dear friend this is the Crypto Market and there is anything can happen. The coin just catch the attention of people by its hype. Like we can see that Binance also listed this coin in innovation zone.
If you want to invest in this coin so I will recommend make more research about this coin. About its team. How it is developing and what is the purpose of this coin. And what are the plan of this project in future.
These are some points which you should keep in mind before investing in it.

That's right, I agree with your opinion. In the crypto world, anything can happen. No one can predict for sure that the market will go down or up, therefore we have to do our own research before entering the world of crypto currency. Avoid buying or investing but you don't know. what you invest
