61  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoins Direct - Private off exchange sales (Update: coins available again) on: August 29, 2012, 09:39:49 PM
I'm very interested in using your service. I hear PNV bank deposits are in the works. Please notify immediately when PNC bank becomes an option and you will be my go to guy.

This times 1,000. And if you can include PNC transfer in Fastcash4bitcoins that would be even better!

63  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] $100 MasterCard Gift Debit Card (Prepaid) (US ONLY) on: August 27, 2012, 11:46:29 PM
  • Ship the card to you unopened. This costs 0.9BTC because it takes 2 stamps to ship this first-class.

$10 for 2 stamps?  Where are you buying your stamps?

Whoops. Typo'd. fixed. Thanks.
64  Economy / Goods / [WTS] $100 MasterCard Gift Debit Card (Prepaid) (US ONLY) on: August 27, 2012, 09:47:36 PM
Just as the title says. I got this card in the mail as a gift and have not opened it yet. It has $100 loaded on it. I can either:
  • Activate the card for you and give you the billing info used, cc number, cv2, etc.
  • Give you the CC number, CV2, and EXP date and let you activate it yourself
  • Ship the card to you unopened. This costs 0.09BTC because it takes 2 stamps to ship this first-class.

Please note that this card can only be used in the United States.

I'd like to sell AT SPOT, so payment in BTC will be 100/Mt.Gox Last.

My OTC rating can be found in my signature (ignore the -2 from the scammer (or don't)), I also have completed this hard drive loan and this 2 BTC loan from the IBB, no problems with either loan. Also, I provided payment for services by gweedo. I feel an escrow should not be needed, and frankly would not like to deal with one, however if it must be done you'll be the one paying (if they request compensation). I am also willing to give the CC info before payment to trusted members (this is to be judged by me).

exactly, all you need is a notepad, and basic knowledge of html.

or Firebug.
66  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - a new thin client on: August 24, 2012, 06:55:39 PM
That would be great. Throw it up at the bottom of the download page.
67  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - a new thin client on: August 24, 2012, 06:40:43 PM
Is this still the place to get the code to build the server from?

For ABE, yes.

So for electrum server? I looked around and it was the only link i could find.

Disclaimer: my brain hurts.

72  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: FastCash4Bitcoins Support Thread (Update: bank funds added) on: August 19, 2012, 04:35:46 AM
Sorry for being a noob, but what is the difference between a cashiers check and a regular one?
A cashiers check has the money already removed from your account and cannot bounce.
Assuming it is not forged.

edit: I'm not saying FC4B forges checks. I just wanted to be clear.

deposit was waived by Tril Smiley
75  Economy / Lending / Re: Hard Drive Loan (yes, you read that correctly) on: August 14, 2012, 05:32:59 PM
You are correct. I'm still in the mindset of 1 BTC is less than $10.... oh well.

Drives are getting cheaper and cheaper, I could just wait for a newegg sale. Decisions, decisions.

edited OP. will you do it for 3 BTC?

And if all you need is a SATA cable, I have a million of these lying around.  If you were to place any order on my coin store and say "please include a SATA cable, I need one!", I'd gladly oblige.

thanks, will keep that in mind Smiley
76  Economy / Lending / [CLOSED] Hard Drive Loan on: August 14, 2012, 05:24:03 PM
So this is a bit of an odd request, I'm aware of that.
I need to decrypt three truecrypted hard drives, each of them has a little more than 1.1TB in storage space used. However, in order to do that, one must copy these files somewhere else, then reformat the encrypted drive and move the files back. I don't have another hard drive to do that with. Here's what I propose:

I'll send you a security deposit either in GoxUSD or BTC for the cost of a new hard drive of the same type, plus a 5 3? BTC fee for your trouble. This 3 BTC also includes your shipping costs. You ship the drive to me, I work with it, then ship it back to you. Once you receive your hard drive back you return my security deposit.

The drive should be SATA or eSATA (due to speed) and have a capacity of no less than 1.5TB. Also, if you don't mind, I don't have any spare (e)SATA cables so if you could include the cable ^.^

Because of shipping costs I'd like this to be taken care of domestically (within the United States). I'll need the drive for 2-3 days tops.

I know this is odd. I'd rather not spring for a new hard drive I don't need, and I don't want to buy a new hard drive just to return it. Assuming you trust me (I'm giving you a security deposit) the biggest risk is damage to the HDD from shipping, so maybe it'd be better if your drive was still under warranty.

Any takers?

Thanks

77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Washing Legality? on: August 11, 2012, 06:48:32 AM
There are plenty of services advertised on this forum that will do that for you.

That being said, most (if not all) exchanges mix coins in their wallet, so just depositing some coins into an exchange and withdrawing a few days later should get you clean different coins.

No comment on the legality of it, however it might help one comment if you posted your jurisdiction.
78  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Jeers to mtgox on: August 06, 2012, 01:57:57 PM
You don't have access to a notary?
If you use dwolla, you use a bank, and most if not all banks have a notary on staff.

Costs money to get things notarized.

Have you asked? My bank offers to notarize documents free for account holders. If yours doesn't, ask around, open up a free checking at a bank that does, and voila (assuming MTG Alex's suggestion doesn't work).

80  Economy / Currency exchange / [NO LONGER WTS] 100 BTC for WU, Cash in the Mail, or Domestic (US) Bank Wire on: July 31, 2012, 08:29:52 AM
NO LONGER AVAILABLE

I'm looking to sell a few BTC and avoid exchange fees. I'll sell 100 BTC at Mt. Gox Ask for Western Union, Cash in the Mail, or a Bank Wire. All payments will be sent to the United States.
You cover any & all fees on your end and I'll cover any fees on my end (if any).

Western Union
If you like, the price can be locked as soon as you send me and I verify the MTCN. BTC will be sent upon receipt. The money must be sent via a method that allows me to pick it up as cash (no debit card to bank).

Cash in the Mail
I can't lock the price for you using this method. BTC will be sent upon receipt.

Bank Wire
The price can be locked once you report a successful wire transfer. BTC sent as soon as they post (unless I'm at my day job). If you send a wire when I'm working, the latest you'll receive your BTC is 2 AM EST the next day.

I don't accept international wires unless you are willing to send a little extra to cover possible intermediary fees.

Escrow
Since I'm not very trusted, I'm willing to do escrow if requested.

Rep
Pretty much every trade I've done is recorded in my OTC rating. To confirm it's me:
