There are hundreds of millions of e-sport gaming fans, players, and supporters around the globe. Premiums, cards, loads, and other upgrades can now be bought using cryptocurrencies. Other than that, cryptocurrency betting sites are also offering odds on e-sports games. The millions of fans who are hard supporters of e-sports teams and players can now make bets on them using cryptocurrency. This is doubtless a great step toward adoption in this big industry and community. We also hosted an esports event in Vegas with Litecoin recently. Adoption to E-Sports and Crypto seem to be happening simultaneously lately, which is great news for fans and companies alike (of which I represent both currently  ) |

The three of you posted in a short window of unexpected downtime. You should be able to visit the website fine now. If you still cannot, please try Chrome (rather than Brave or Opera, which we also semi-support) and turn off any ad/script blocker. It's either that or they've already fixed it. My country is not on the list of ineligible jurisdictions, and the website works for me. I don't really understand why it's obligatory to use the Comet Wallet and why is this website's only token is their own (what about accepting Bitcoin/Ethereum?). Speaking of tokens, does this mean that people who win get their rewards in your tokens as well? How and where can they exchange them for something of bigger value to the players, like Bitcoin? Is there a crypto exchange for that, for example? I'm not a gamer, but the whole idea seems interesting to me. I mean, I can see how people can be attracted to that. But the token thing seems unclear. The entire site and its integration are currently built off of the VeChain blockchain. We do have a direct fiat method coming soon. That being said, we are currently listed on Oceanex.pro. We switched to a VeChain token to avoid the possibility of bloat on the chain slowing our service. The token makes sure that you can also track its movements for this usecase, whereas bitcoin may not provide the full amount of information. Ethereum's wide support for smart contracts is why we used it in the past. Some dApps showed us that Ethereum is too prone to bloat. The Comet Wallet is where the actual Token-Platform integration takes place. Keep in mind this is still a new platform, in the future, we may support other wallets - as well as adding site functionality into our main DBET wallet. |

Another question. I see you've added TFT and OW, but why no CS? It's probably the most popular game to make wagers/bets on and has a pretty big userbase.
CS will be coming and is planned. There are a few issues with it and our virtual referee right now, but I am personally a big CS player so it's definitely planned. |

I'm not sure how exactly the platform works but from the look of it, the games look really good and the UI works as well. If I am to take a guess, I think the platform is reports betting though the actually logistics of it I'm not sure about.
The platform does not constitute betting (though, we will be adding Peer-2-Peer wagering soon). A good way to consider our platform is like a battle pass that gives monetary rewards. Like other games, you must first use their token/currency and then buy the pass. We do the token on a per-quest basis rather than a battle pass basis. Also, we will eventually have a direct method for withdrawing via fiat. Luckily, my country isnt included to the list of prohibited countries.Is it really necessary to join up tourney for you to be able to get some reward? or can it be applied on a typical or casual match?

So when are the next games? Also, I noticed recently that PlayVIG shut down a few games for a bit, does this mean playDECENT did too?
A new game was released yesterday, Magic the Gathering: Arena! We have another that will release next week. It depends on the reason why PlayVIG shut down. We are two separate entities, so typically it doesnt mean an issue for us; however, if the issue relies with how their Virtual Referee was handling a specific game, that will most likely be an issue for us as well. To be safe assume that, yes, it does mean that. The most important step is always going to be the player base. I wondering if this is marketed primarily at the public or more of a Business to Business kind of operation where existing operations hope to encourage involvement by hosting games on your platform with the token capability.
Its always hard to acquire new customers is my take on most setups, theres a large start up cost from encouraging people to even visit never mind trust a brand and invest their time and in this case money in the hope of gaining something. The most obvious currency for all online games now seems to be cosmetic items and in some cases these can be traded and value exchanged, that standing start is hard to beat for a competing idea.
I'm very interested how you proceed, I play quite a few of these games so perhaps I can test it out at some point.
Hey we're live! You can test on our platform at any time you wish! We are currently soft marketing to mainly PlayVIG users and Cryptocurrency users. We have a fiat method for buying and selling first/second-party by EOY - once that is around, we can market to the masses. The issue is that if we marketed like that now, we would have many users unsure of how to buy DBETs, then transfer them, etc etc. Sorry for the delay in reply, we've been very busy lately with what I am about to link below.

When will we see PvP functionality so that we can wager against others?
PvP will be coming by years end, but should come well before then. This thread in my opinion cannot compare the the ones in which you can clearly discern that the person spent some time about how to present their project. Presentation is key and in my opinion, this thread is lacking. The presentational aspect make people to not even bother reading your thread. It is critical though you create a good one, if not have other people who can because otherwise you will lose you customer interest. Anyways, I still hope that you get a lot of other great feedback  I am not sure what you mean, as it is fully formatted with pictures sized for easy usage between PC and Mobile. The platform is still very new, and we want to keep the thread light and easy for Mobile users to read as well, I hope you understand this perspective.

I know you said it isnt a set schedule, but is there a specific day of the week to look out for? Like, would it be at the beginning or end of the week? Just won my first Apex wager, this is a pretty solid platform - only a few small bugs, less than i expected for such an early product. The staff member who focuses on planning the quests and jackpots aims for Mondays. Delays shouldnt be common, but if they were to happen, it would be during this still-fresh phase we are in. So, typically closer to the beginning of the week. Also, congrats!  |

I've been looking to play some Apex and PUBG with incentives, and currently Razer's zSilver and zGold are the closest ones I can get to at least convert my gaming hours into something. I have been playing a lot of Apex and PUBG recently, and I think having these quests as self-wager would just increase the thrill on every game that I hop on. Anyway, I think I might sign up to this platform and see what it can offer. In the mean time, I'd like to request RTS games (albeit they're quite in a slump) such as Starcraft or Dota 2 in there, hopefully.
Hey well then I have good news! DotA2 is already on the platform! LoL is planned, not sure as to how prioritized it is, but one day. Other RTS games perhaps, it really depends on their popularity and then, most importantly, the ability to have the virtual referee. But I am a big Blizzard fanboy so maybe some day. |

From both a product development perspective and an operational one, this has been the busiest month in our history. In fact, it’s not even close.
We’ve launched the Mainnet of playDECENT.gg, gone through a number of development-related sprints, as well as launched targeted advertising campaigns through a number of different mediums. Internally, we’ve implemented a customer support system with Zendesk. And in general, we’re learning what it takes to operate a first-of-its-kind blockchain product.

Am I the only one who didn't understand what happens there? Maybe because I play none of these games but some people around me are huge fan of them.
You have to play against someone on money or are there tournaments? Is your platform only for pro players? (Since you mentioned monetize your gaming skill).
Btw as it seems from comments, this project is really good. Wish you success, let's develop further.

Dont worry, I am glad to help and if you have any more questions, I'd be glad to answer them. The current (which is first release) of playDECENT.gg is that you can participate in quests. These quests cost an entry fee, and then ask you to do something in game. Since you said you play none of these games, here is a quick rundown on the top 3 right now, Apex, Fortnite, and PUBG, which are all Battle Royales. In this style of game, 1 person (or 1 group of up to four people) wins out of ~100 players. Where playDECENT comes in, is that a quest would be something along the lines of "Make it to the top ten, and earn 1 kill" So the player would then join that quest (If they think they can do it) and play the game, and if they do make it to the top ten and earn that one kill, they would get the payout. In a way, you're playing against yourself. This platform is for all types of players! Many players make it to the top ten (in our example). However, if you are especially proficient, you could try for the top 1 slot, which has a higher entry fee, but also a much greater reward. In future releases/upgrades, a direct bet against another player is planned, as well as tournaments. We are also adding more games. The only question I have is how do you close out of the referee agent thing? Also when will there be higher payouts?
Oh hey sorry, I thought I had yours too!! Okay so, a current graphical bug requires you to click on the agent then alt+f4 to close it. Secondly, higher payouts are coming, along with more risk-reward challeneges, as well as a few basic ones to help players build up their DBets for the larger quests |

My country is on the Ineligible Jurisdictions list. I'm shocked about it because it's not a third world country, gambling is allowed here, we have physical casinos and many people doing sport betting and so on. My country is also crypto-friendly so I never experienced that it would be on the "prohibited countries" list.
I will send you a PM where I come from and I ask you to check again because I'm pretty sure there are no legal reasons to exclude it.
The list is also very subject to change as we iron out some things, so do keep your hopes up. The main reasons for exclusion currently are due to the gaming licenses we hold. But yes, Ill check your PM now and get back to you I see from the screenshot.
It's basically betting with other users right? We need to make an entry fee to bet with other people. Would you also will create a free tournament by your self? Just like faceit went they created a tournament every day for all user if we got the rank we get some ticket and can change it them to item game, hardware & other stuff.

Currently no, it is taking on quests. Consider it a self-wager, but that wouldnt be the best way to describe it either. But keep in mind you can start a quest for top 5 and take it slow, or run in fast for quick rewards. You are in control. We plan on having a p2p bet type set up in the future, meaning you could theoretically bet whatever you want, the other person looks it over, sees the terms, agrees, and youre on. This does also include tournaments, like you mentioned. Leaderboards as well Ouch no mobile do you plan to add also on mobile user or this is exclusive to PC variant? Most of the games are look great to play will yry it on my laptop later I also want to know if do you have a bonus for the first time to use your site?.
It has been discussed but there is no rush. Most competitive esports play on PC, also because we would have to get the Virtual Referee to allow looking/drawing over other apps, which isnt easy, especially for iPhones. That being said, you'd probably want the edge that PC has over phones. Especially for a game where you share a server. We did have a sign up campaign but users are joining incredibly fast, I dont believe it is still open. That being said, we do have plans for future campaigns and easy dbets, so keep your eyes open on our socials/disc. |
