121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts on bounty rewards on: October 11, 2018, 05:41:49 PM
From what I had read so far, spending 3-6 months just by doing something like signature campaign and would receive tokens for at least a week after the ICO has ended. What would you expect for people to do anyway? Hold it for another month? A year or so? They would really sell it after they receive it that's why some coins turned out to be a shitty coin because of these massive dumps of tokens in the exchange after the ICO stage ends. It is funny sometimes that some coins hasn't reach the maturity stage but is now reaching immediately its declining stage.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: October 11, 2018, 05:27:30 PM
Imagining that everything is digital especially in trading goods or services? Can't imagine yet that we will have those futuristic gadget that just needs to be scanned in order to pay something. It is funny that it still exist in fictional stories. We "might" get there but the conflict between the government and cryptocurrency needs to be handled first before these.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you on average investing in an ICO? on: October 11, 2018, 05:24:54 PM
I usually invest 1 eth, depending on the quality, duration and bonus offered. if the bonus offered is quite large and the ICO time is short maybe I will increase my investment.

That's quite the amount already from the fluctuation of ETH's price around 200$. I don't know how much ICOs were that successful these second half of the year 2018. Some said that it isn't worth it but I don't have the statistics to jump into that conclusion already. Quite saddening for those that invested more than 1 ETH though. That could be a monstrous return if it turned out to be a legitimate one.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you honestly feel about the recent bitcoin drop? on: October 11, 2018, 04:56:35 PM
How do I feel about it? Nothing. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general have been fluctuating like crazy since forever, and don't expect that to change any soon.

I know it isn't the first time so maybe it will be a good time to buy?
If you're investing for long term, then it doesn't matter what price you buy the bitcoin at this price range. If you're planning on selling soon though, then no one knows if this is the bottom or not. It can still drop more. The lowest we had this year was around $5900, so it's definitely possible. But then again, no. one. knows.

It never went below that. I assume it would be the solids when it comes to the floor. Seems like there are still a lot of newbies that are particularly new to the fluctuation though, I wonder how long can they hold until they start to drop it.  Huh

125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to trade altcoins? on: October 11, 2018, 04:34:05 PM
I've been trading coins like ADA and TRX quite lately and I might get the incoming  ropes to day trade XRP, but it still depends on how would the 24 hour changes since circulation would be the another thing I am looking for before I trade plus how the coin handled last week through the TA. Have nothing anything else planned yet.
126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new] on: October 11, 2018, 04:05:51 PM
Out of those 322 activities and you still don't know the basic ropes of trading? While I do not blame you for that and I won't bother myself looking for the reason why. To start up trading learn the majority of the definitions in trading. Not for the physical trading but obviously it would be crypto trading. Investopedia can help you with that. Youtube can also help but you might get misled at some information out there because some tutorials were meant for a specific exchange and you wouldn't want to have some confusion out of that. Learn the trading signals and tools. What is RSI and BB? How can they help establish your strategy?
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks will always be against cryptocurrencies? on: October 10, 2018, 05:28:53 PM
...Or maybe not. In my local wallet, it allows Bitcoin to be sent directly into a bank account although I think that KYC is fully required before doing so. I can't conclude yet that banks here are crypto-friendly but I can put it in some assumption however. There was also like a establishment in here where Bitcoin are mostly circulated.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you say is Bitcoin's biggest weakness as an industry? on: October 10, 2018, 05:25:46 PM
Are you trying to make some SWOT analysis for some feasibility study or such?
I can sort of give somehow a little like some people don't know how to still use technology and it is useless to talk techy to those people for the same reason. Bans are threat and we cannot control that. Another weakness I can think of is that it is dependent in the internet connection, not entirely the speed of the internet itself but just the dependency of it.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: October 10, 2018, 04:09:24 PM
I’ I have heard some experienced trader said that I should learn and read more before start, and also get some experience.

~

I tried one but I falied. There is something I don’t know? Please tell me more.

~

I was starting to watch CryptoJack recently and I think it would be a great video to start up although there were some comments  telling the flaws of the tutorial. It led me to daytrade in my preferred exchange site which is Binance. While I don't recommend his YT channel that much yet until I learned that something is wrong from his tutorial in "my opinion", it would still be worth your minute to feel at least the UIs and the basics.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How could bitcoins survive further on: October 10, 2018, 03:44:41 PM
If we, investors, will constantly support the demand for bitcoins, then gradually it will be accepted by almost all countries, I am sure. The main thing is that attention is constantly focused on it, so that the authorities understand that this currency is relevant and necessary for us.

No, no, no. Investors wouldn't even attempt to defend Bitcoin in my opinion. They would just back away simply when they feel that their country doesn't appreciate its existence into theirs. A gamble to be used in merchandise stores could be a stepping stone but if it is banned already then don't expect it to be.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't start your day by checking the price of bitcoin in the morning. on: October 10, 2018, 02:39:41 PM
Semi-holders, you say? I was like that. The tempt to look into the price is just that itchy that you have that level of expectation on where could it lead next time. Especially when you have a thick investments, you would be dizzy in so much prices that you need to look into at. That's why I tend to limit the coins I am holding.

Well that was in the past, as I start to learn the curves in day trading though.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of coin are you waiting for on the pump? on: October 10, 2018, 01:20:13 PM
I am planning to hold TRX or ADA. I was daytrading those for a while. I still don't visit Binance to start my usual activity since I am kinda full in my schedule. It depends if those two will be worth the hold and I might take a great look in its past price in the past week. Hope it doesn't bring me down though. Still have a lot of something to put in my sleeves anyway so.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked wallet on: October 04, 2018, 05:40:57 PM
Nowadays people complain about their account being hacked
We need experts here to give us some tips on how a wallet can be secured from being hacked
Your submissions will be welcome
Cheers!

Experts? No. They're not gonna babysit us just to keep our wallets safe, unless you're that rich enough to manage the expenses in the fortification of the wallet you're using but why would you need it anyway if you can secure your own wallet for free.
Where do you store your private keys eventually? Notepad or any word processors? You're just screwing yourself with that method.
Do you have any extra savings to invest in a hardware wallet? Do it when you can, it isn't that a must but it is a plus.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is needed on: October 04, 2018, 05:18:08 PM
When you are still a newbie to this cryptocurrency world, it is better to take action and study the flow of its ecosystem and be prepared when you make an investment to avoid a profit loss. Don't make drastic move that you didn't prepare to it. Always make your own research first.

Alright, now what should you research? Your post is too generic for everyone to understand or simply like many people here just also wanted to go along with you.
What is trading?
What is daytrading?
What is technical analysis?
What are the technical tools widely used as a basic indicator in your strategy in trading?
These are all regardless of what exchange you use. It isn't just gonna be how the market swings, you need to adapt through market's "period" by these provided tools because I assure you that you'll be simply blind trade if you didn't do.
135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on in the market? on: October 04, 2018, 04:22:22 PM
A lot of drama already, I think all these experiences are good as it makes part of learning and experience, sooner or later we will understand what works and what does not. A lot of wrong choices and decisions have been made but they are all lessons learnt.

Wat?

I guess for me what’s happening is the investors are playing safe as market falls from a huge loss in 2017 last quarter, and even how many news good or bad wont affect the value instead continuously maintaining their position,so what we do is bare with this market and never let fall from many hearsay’s

I'll try to think it that way since there has been no large gains in the price lately or I might need to dig a bit more deeper on what to day trade in altcoin since I know some of the coins outside the tops are growing slowly even if we can't assume that it grows exponentially. A bit of a profit like 5-10% wouldn't hurt in my day trade.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: October 04, 2018, 03:50:13 PM
Day Trading: Make a short profit and secure your finances every day.
Hold: make big profits but take a long time.
Depending on your choice, if the amount of investment you do not need is used, holding would be a better option.

For me Holding coins for a long time is not for me also some coins is already dumping it's price now and maybe your coin will get affected later.
I also try hold for long time and nothing happends until this year of 2018 When i see my funds lossing every day.

As of my research during the week, I think we should now start the day trading since the stabilizing floor of Bitcoin keeps swinging and yet we're still expecting the bull to run but yet we can't feel its true run yet. Burst to 7k is uncommon which should happen always to keep our optimism precise for at least, but heck we're always here at 6k+ staying over and over.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be harder to access in the future? on: October 04, 2018, 02:24:51 PM
I don't think it's possible and I believe more that bitcoin will be easier to access in the future because all of the technology in the future I believe will have rapid development and many will use digital currencies so that bitcoin is easily accessible anywhere and used for all kinds of payment transactions.

Maybe or maybe not. Who knows how will some country handle cryptocurrencies' entrance into theirs. They might be like strangle it like a snake just like the bans happening. People will just keep on doing ways anyway how to still do such transaction without getting in the eyes of the government. VPNs exist and there could be an organization or  such hidden groups that will just do everything to trade or do something while utilizing with Bitcoin.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin will be the safest investment on: October 04, 2018, 12:13:49 PM
I believe in bitcoin as a good investment. It is the most stable on the cryptocurrency market and is getting stronger every year.

What the heck are you talking about? Stability? Really? Stability is the catch in investing in Bitcoin and people take risk in that. We can't really say that it gets stronger every year. Last massive bull run which was the end of 2017 was one of the so-called "strongest" of the bulls in Bitcoin but now we can't say now that it is stronger. Your point is actually the opposite.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: what do you think by ending of this year on: October 04, 2018, 11:32:30 AM
Price? Nothing to be expected off. I see it just being stable around 6k and that's all. Minor bull runs will happen because I am just simply used to it although I still hope for a better floor while the year still doesn't end.

Does anybody still mind of its utilization? Its like a slow progress for Bitcoin to get utilized in different establishments because of its price. These two link up, but anyways nothing has changed that much.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why shouldn’t we be concerned? on: October 03, 2018, 02:50:12 PM
because growth will soon come again when the price that yesterday dropped will certainly be a big increase and it is worth waiting for

we must be sure that bitcoin will indeed grow again, because until now, even though the state of bitcoin is down, surely bitcoin will increase again, and that happens every time

What?

@OP
These December Bounce-back optimism isn't gonna happen now. Too late to think for that. All the things that we could think of now in trading, since everything is almost like a price-issue, is day trading in the market. If you're still thinking of waiting for the price to bounce back this whole year for a burst price, then don't. You're just gonna likely to sort of regret or at least get bored of.
