2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: February 17, 2024, 01:26:24 AM
Whoever is playing gambling with strong emotion may end up losing more of your capital because gambling for me should be play anytime one is less busy and want to keep yourself busy with something to catch fun with. But is it that easy for one to actually play gambling without being emotional about it? This is because money is involved and I do believe so many people can't play gambling without being emotional about it and that is why they will keep on loosing and the gambling site will continue to make profit from losers account.

I think so too. Emotions can mess with your game in gambling. It's tough for many to play without getting all worked up, especially when money's on the line. Staying chill is key, setting limits and knowing when to take a break. Or else it's like a losing streak that never ends and the house keeps raking it in
Trying to recover loses is one of the major factor that do keep those who play gambling with emotion in the game, and which will make them to lose more. Another reason is the testimonies from people that are good in playing gambling with little emotion attached.  This will keep those people who do play with high emotion hope alive but at the end kept on losing to the house. The house most make profit in other to remain in business, and some people has to win so as to encourage new people.

The road to addiction and even borrowing more funds to playing gambling all started this way good to know that you later realize that what you are about doing to yourself is not good. From my past experience, I don't think is over yet because your mind might still be there and that same feeling may return you into playing gambling soon again as against your conclusion that you will not return till a long period of time.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: October 25, 2023, 03:53:41 AM
As the gambling industry is evolving, I think innovations would have kicked in that can make someone create a career from gambling. I do not know how this can be achieved but I feel it is possible.

Making gambling a full time job might be seen as risky but I still feel one can make gambling full time job and a career.

What do you all think?
Thinking of making playing gambling a full time job is really not a good advice to anyone who may want to venture into such idea as that may lead to an addiction and may equally lead to heavy lost of once money if care is not taking. Get a skills that will help render services and in return you will get paid for your service. Taking playing gambling as a fun will make you enjoy playing gambling, and you may be lucky one day and make huge amount of money from playing gambling but not to take it as a full time job.

One thing I believe is that, those who get addicted to playing gambling is as a result of the fact that they desperate to make quick money. And if care is not taking you end up loosing more than what you are expecting to make from playing gambling. My advice for people who are about to or into playing gambling already is that they should not see gambling as a major source of income and don't go into gambling because of someone testimony. Learn skills that will earn you money and above all be contented with what you have at all time.

11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: May 22, 2022, 09:53:59 PM
Is unfortunate to hear the situation you are currently in but just that is some how difficult for people to believe your story and assist you just because so many people have use this approach as a lucrative business and those with good heart are no longer ready to assist any more.
It will nice if you could talk to people within your community for assistance which I believe is the best way for now in my opinion. If you don't have a skill try as much to learn one so that you will be able render service to people and get paid in return.
There are some part of his post that may seem not believable to some but common, the guy isn't asking for direct donations. He just want some advises or recommendations, that's it. I think it is free for us to give it but if I have some good cash right now, id be willing to help the op with some amounts.

I like what you said there, to go to the closest community. Usually that is the best thing that we can do if we are in need of urgent help but I also like the personality of the op, he didn't do that but he wanted to stand up with his own feet. He is trying his best if what he can do to help his situation. He doesn't totally depend on other people.
I really appreciate your response but just to remind you that one must not the whole money before rendering help to people in need. I know very well that you are on a weekly pay by your current employer and that is enough for you to assist OP.

Ran out of sMerit, usually 5 is what I feel comfortable to appreciate a work, idea and the writing which looks merit worthy to me.

I see you got some good forum posters on the list. Copper Member is just a bought status and a paid membership that allows you to access some regular features of the forum. It seems in the case of the user logfiles you are not sure about his regular rank? He is Legendary :-D

Anyway, this is not why I am making a post here. I would like to congratulate you in the campaign management business. And congratulations on selecting the participants. There are several talks about the campaign but I hope you will be able to learn as you go. Feel free to reach out to me if you need any tips and suggestions. I will be happy to assists with and see the project become successful. The exchange looks great to me.

Actually just sent him a pm concerning this  Wink I assumed due to the elevated post count, but just wanted to make sure.

For general info; I am a long time user of the forum, I have a Legendary account myself. If anyone was around 2017, you may have even participated in one of my bounty campaigns, although this will be my first standalone signature campaign. In my day, I have read enough 150ish character, poorly worded posts to write a book Cheesy But, I have been inactive for some years now.

Since the forum is near and dear to me, I would be remiss to contribute to the wave of poor quality posts that were a particular problem when I was a more active user. Some of the applicants are very good writers, some not so much, but have attempted to support the forum through meaningful opinions and advice to newbies. That means a lot to me; my crypto career (which has progressed beautifully over all these years) basically started out on this forum.

But, given that we wish to establish a presence on the forum, along with other forum like social media platforms (think Reddit), we will be using a company account for this particular campaign. And given that I have said some "controversial things" on my other account, we will keep that old account anon for now (we dont want any of that associated with the brand) Cheesy
What then is the name of your alt account?

We are more the Altcoins the more money you will make within a short period of time though remember that anytime negative can happen to your entire capital within that same short period of time is care is not taking. Generally, future trading is very risky and one need to trade with care even if you are trading Bitcoin.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔺let's admit it, Bitcoin time is over, now DEFI Time 🔺 on: January 27, 2022, 10:35:59 AM
DeFi is the greatest scam of 2021, it is also not decentralized which has been one of the reasons many scams are possible.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/19/over-10-billion-lost-to-defi-scams-and-thefts-in-2021.html

Quote
Overall losses caused by DeFi exploits have totaled $12 billion so far in 2021, according to a report from Elliptic.

Fraud and theft accounted for $10.5 billion of that sum — a sevenfold increase from last year.

DeFi, or decentralized finance, products aim to replicate traditional financial services using blockchain.

Bitcoin is still the leader of all. I am wondering how DeFi has caused disaster into some people's life in 2021 it is very risky just like ICOs are risky.
The hard lesson which I learned from ICO those days has made me not to invest in DeFi despite the fact that some of the projects were promoted by trusted members herein the forum same way it happened in the days of ICO. Had luck to those who lost their money via DeFi and we should some how careful with the current NFT though am not saying anything bad about it but one need to be careful.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: January 27, 2022, 01:35:20 AM
What did you learn about crypto trading?
Many things.
I learned many things from crypto trading. I learn how trading strategy may not exactly fit us or others, depending on who we are and how much our capital. I learned about some emotional problems faced in crypto trading, moreover as greediness, panic, and also impatience.
I learnt also how to diversify and also do some fund management which is actually quite difficult for me because sometimes I am too greedy to diversify or manage or control my desire.
I learned about trading new coins is very very risky and I will not take them again.
The more we do actual trading the more learning we also earn.
*patience
*decision making
*analysis

A lot of things have been changed for us particularly in being positive about what we do. It is risky, yeah, but it also gives us more than a profit in returns. That is why people who don't want to change their attitude and behavior will certainly fail and then give up too quickly.
Given up too quickly could be as a result past history one must have had with let say trading. In the past have lost a lot of money while trading Forex and made some profit though but past history always have effect on one current decision.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: January 25, 2022, 09:49:11 PM
What I have learned is that one should not be angry or blame himself over you not being able to hold till date because what ever you might have used the money for as at then way for a purpose. Let the past be the past and forget the formal trading decision you have made and just make an informed trading decision now that you have learned a lesson from the past.

Some will learn from their mistakes while trading, but some will still find it difficult when there is no one else beside them who can give a warning that in crypto things can happen without us predicting.
And that was why I do mention it to some people who care to that trading crypto currency is not main for everyone just because you are looking for money via trading for I strongly believe that there are other things that people who are not good in trading can do and be making money more than crypto currency traders. Identify what you are good at and stop waisting your money in trading crypto currency is my message for those struggling with trading.
