After scoring 9 goals in their last 5 matches in the league Juventus scored 5 goals in a single match! This is interesting statistics as it comes from a team you wouldn't expect normally. Probably a one-time thing or not much common to see. But it might help with some players about their self-confidence. It is still hard to talk very positive about the general quality of players. All they can do is to finish in top 4 for a Champions League spot.

Next opponent to destroy is Köln for Bayern Munich. They have already played once this season and Bayern Munich demolished them 4-1 away. I don't expect any surprises again. They have just beaten Wolfsburg hard. It isn't much possible to see them scoring that many goals but a win by 3-4 goals is quite likely. I feel super strange seeing Bundesliga on a midweek, since the Bundesliga has 4 games less than the other top eruopean leagues they dont play so much in the midweek so is strange to see this happening.
About the games for this round i feel like we can start to see the comeback of Mainz from 0 to hero, i hope it, they dont deserve to be there.
Yes but they gave a much bigger break than the other top European leagues. There was no Bundesliga match for nearly 3 weeks! We deserve to watch midweek matches because of that I think.

I just found out about this bad news, I agree with your comments about Xabi Alonso. The coach is there to bring 11 players together, if each player has too much ego then no matter how good they are, it will still fall apart. Some time ago it was Vini who had problems with Xabi and now Mbappe. It's good that Xabi resigned, I support him, because what? if not given the authority to manage the team according to his wishes, the team will not progress. Now Arbeloa takes over, another young coach and also a former Madrid player, can he unite these players?
At first I thought the problems weren't that serious. You know Vinicius Junior actually had a problem with his salary which was between him and the board. But then things have started to change... We have started seeing grouping among the players. That was the first signal of everything happened recently. After the loss in the Super Cup finale that was it! Mbappe disrespected Xabi Alonso by taking the players with himself. Here we are now...

Do you believe in Arsenal to win the Premier League and Champions League at the same time this season? It is quite achievable with their effort technically but still a really tough job to do! I'm just hoping Arteta to win at least one of these trophies this season. Isn't it time already for that after all this improvement? The squad is capable enough for it. They just need to manage their concentration well.

Inter missed an opportunity to increase the gap with a title contender to 7 points. They could have won this match if they were a little better at defending. I didn't like either Akanji or Bisseck in this match. They should improve these performances next time. Chivu once again struggled in a big match. For the whole league health is good to not see Inter winning against Napoli on yesterday game, but damn Napoli needs to improve a lot if they really want to fight for the Scudeto, playing like this they are not gonna have a chance at all, i know they are still with some key players out but damn man Mctomminay cant save you always.
McTominay really saved the team from a clear defeat. I don't agree with people who think Napoli played impressively in this match. They didn't. One who didn't watch the match can also understand it from their scoring 2 goals from 0.74 expected goals.

If it was another team in the Bundesliga to win by scoring 8 goals it would be surprising. But as for Bayern Munich to do so there is nothing to be surprised about at all indeed. That's a humiliation for Wolfsburg surely. By the way once in the past they were one of the decent teams of this league. But now they are just trying not to relegate from the league. Tough times...

Manchester united have full potential to win this match. But their performance is inconsistent. Brighton is not in good form this season. Their defense is weak. Manchester united is in the same situation. I agree with you that this match is most likely to be a draw. Brighton is ahead in the last 5 matches between these two teams. Brighton has won three of the 5 matches and Manchester united has won two. Anyway, as we can see from the performance of both teams this season , the match is more likely to end in 0- 0 or 1 -1 in 90 minutes.
That's exactly why they don't actually have full potential for that. Inconsistency... The source of it is the bad management of the team. Amorim or any other manager they sacked in a short time wasn't the main source of the problem for them. Patience and having a good transfer strategy are key factors in getting stronger. At the moment they are 1-0 behind by the way. I think they will get eliminated.

Mbappé has joined the Madrid squad for their final training session ahead of the match against Barcelona, and he was also seen training with his teammates. Xabi Alonso will field Mbappé in the final, as his presence is crucial, especially as Mbappé has been Real Madrid's goal machine this season and has a good record against Barcelona, consistently scoring against them. This match has the potential to be exciting and produce many goals. I predict Real Madrid will win this tight match and lift the Spanish Super Cup.
For now I see the predicted lineup with Mbappe for Real Madrid on Sofascore. I hope they have a reliable data for that. In that situation Xabi Alonso's hands are getting stronger tonight. Still they will need to beat a really in form Barcelona of course. This isn't an easy task. But not a thing they didn't do earlier in the season either. You remember the last El Clasico in the La Liga right? Real Madrid could have won by even a bigger score than 2-1.

I wasn't expecting to watch a this disappointing Milan today. They gave Fiorentina a lot of goal chances and couldn't even have highest ball possession in the match either. I can just say Fiorentina deserved the point and maybe even more than that! Because once again we watched a really good performance by Maignan.
Now there is just the environment for Inter to go for opening the gap with Milan and Napoli both.

It is nice to hear about Cancelo's return to Barcelona by the way. Maybe once again it is a loan signing until the summer but nothing to do about it... You know their financial condition is still bad. They even asked of Lewandowski not to score anymore if possible. I got astonished when I heard about it first. Is this for the winter transfer? If it is then pretty yeah Arsenal and City gonna lead this, those two teams are currently running the front for the trophy so yeah.
Yeah as far as I know they are both after Marc Guéhi in winter transfer window. They want to bring him to the team as soon as possible. I guess he would be willing to leave no matter it is in the middle of the season or not.

I said something like I wouldn't trust Frankfurt in a million years if they continue to play like that. But they surprised me in this match and showed a serious resistance against Dortmund! After they got ahead in the stoppage time I was like that must be it. Dortmund didn't impress me even a bit. They were bad at defending in the end unlike their look in general of the season in the Bundesliga so far.

There is a day left for another El Clasico this season thanks to the Super Cup. Barcelona are seriously favoured for the win now which isn't a thing to be surprised of. You all know of their insane form on the recent days. They are the most scoring team in Spain right now. Way better than Real Madrid in the La Liga currently. But for a big match like this I can't be sure of anything. I'm just saying don't underestimate Real Madrid here.

The Inter - Arsenal game is considered to be roughly equal:
2.52 - 3.35 - 2.72
Inter are a slight favorite, but this is easily explained by the fact that they are playing at home and they definitely need points more, as they risk not getting into the top 8.
The odds are changing very often I guess. Because I remember one time their odds being the same and another time in which Arsenal were more favoured. Liverpool managed to beat Inter away earlier. They were the better performer at the same time. I think Arsenal can also do so but it depends on one thing. Will they play with their full lineup or rotation? We will see about that.

I don't know what to say about this. It must be like the best case scenario for Inter at a league weekend. They won while Napoli and Milan both lost 2 points because of being unable to defend their opponents well.
Both of those matches were really easy on paper. But football isn't played that simple of course. You would expect at least one of them to win right? Especially Milan.
But they were so close to even losing the match as Stanciu missed a penalty in the last seconds.

Marc Guéhi has been a name after whom top Premier League teams have been going recently. You know Liverpool got so close to signing him last summer but they were a bit of late for preparing documents. This time it doesn't look like they will be able to get that lucky. Arsenal or Manchester City would definitely be more convincing places for him. Considering how problematic this season has been for Liverpool...

After these results we are entering the one-week break with a 6-point gap between the leader and its nearest followers in the table. I'm still trusting Arsenal to put an end to this and finally win the title. To be honest I bet on Arsenal but another bettor bet on Liverpool so no one won. It didn't work out for me but I felt sorry for Arsenal after watching the match because they had a chance to go even higher in terms of points but didn't. It was exciting to watch both teams attack and counter attack but the failure to score was disappointing for the players.
Someone of course won. I don't think there isn't anybody who bet on draw. This was just a disappointing match for me that's all. Arsenal looked better in the first half but later on they were a disaster! Liverpool could have won this match if they played fearlessly. But Slot preferred a cautious game plan.
