A few of my saved links as to why this unit is so interesting. I'm sure I also saw that someone completely reversed the PCB as well, but can't find it now.

Are you talking about this?

Sometimes they use Kaplon or Mylar cut by laser. Not sure of benefits of one over the other. But the cheap one I saw was a polyethylene synthetic paper, which apparently works also and was cut by regular vinyl cutter.

I've seen Kaplon/Mylar ones for $35 on some US site, and the synthetic paper one was $10.

Kapton has a very high melting point and as a result when cut with a laser it doesn't warp as easily, making it a better stencil. I have reballed BGAs using a Kapton stencil to keep the balls in place when applying heat.

Hi,

Are you also going to get Solderpaste stencils manufactured? Some Manufacturers sell produce stencils as well as PCBs. It would be nice for those of us going the DIY route to not have to get a stencil made somewhere else...

TBH i'd prefer a system which requires a unique email domain ie, can't be from gmail or yahoo.

Whilst I do have email accounts from unique domains, I still prefer using my gmail address for things like forum logins etc...

Personally, I made my first few fractions of a BTC through BitVisitor, Cointube.tv, and a few other sites. They have pretty decent initial payments, then slowly decline.

They pay around  X uBTC roughly every 5 minutes. So if you have time to spare...

I've noticed that there are a few complaints on their twitter feed about the time it takes for transfers to go through, mostly SEPA.

Their canned replies aren't very reassuring...

There are already plenty of places that take bitcoins. Most deal in intangible stuff much like bitcoins.

I would say that the only place where physical goods are bought with bitcoins, is on these forums and others like it. Does anybody know of anything different?

Hi,

I've been lurking for a while on these forums, only registered recently. I'd like to be let out so I can discuss some issues in the custom asic miner PCB projects.

Thanks...
