I additionally encounter same situation with yours,I've been defrauded commonly regardless of how I attempt to do explore if the undertaking is legitimate, but there are truly extends that is extremely looking genuine that could draw in financial specialists to put resources into their stages yet by the day's end we will wind up flat broke squandering our opportunity and efforts, but I don't perceive any reason on surrendering mate, everthing in this network is about good fortune
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on Privacy coins? on: July 14, 2018, 04:15:10 AM
I believe is sure. I don't need anybody to track my exchanges. I need the trades to be stamped. As of now cryptographic money is private and mysterious and making it more private is great yet the vast majority of governments will don't care for this thought since it will make unfit to discover who is sending and getting and will may increment in drugs and other illicit exercises.

Will hp9 run as well on ubuntu 12.04 LTS as it does on ubuntu 13.04  ?
Should. I have a few of each and they run at about the same speed.

Do you think it'd be faster if I installed ubuntu desktop in my system vs Win 7 64? (I mean if I compile it myself and optimize)
I have an i7 3820...found 1 block in a day so far. Cheesy

Sad to say but finally I can say this: You're bragging you lucky SOB!

I'm kinda jelly of the 3820, only if it's a K series Wink
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 20, 2013, 07:03:55 AM
Val/h and PPS are significantly lower for me when using the new Ypool provided miner as compared to the newest beta miner posted in this thread.

EDIT: By significantly lower I mean averaging 14.7 val/h with forum beta version and 0.53 val/h average with Ypool version over a now totaled 6 hour test period either way. This is with an ivy bridge i3 3225. I have not tested my two AMD mobile processors long enough on Ypool's new version to come to a conclusion.
That is because the Ypool miner is calculating val/h with the new values, and this miner is using the old values. You would want to compare the number of 6+ ch that you find over a certain amount of time to figure out which is faster. I'm guessing jhPrimeMiner, but you can't just look at the val/h.

Thank you. My 6 ch is about 17 on Ypool miner and 31 on the beta with more 7 ch and 8 ch than the stock miner. It's a definitive win for the latest beta build (not Mumus but the other guy's build). Find it in the thread here people. Sorry I'm lazy and it's 3am here. Bed time.

YPool posted an update to their share formula, and now I can't connect through 7.1 or the rdebourbon versions. They say they recommend mums v4, will try and see.

rdebourbon's version still works, pool was just down for a minute while they changed things. I would love to see an 'unofficial' version that reads the share value from the server too Smiley

Can confirm, back on rdebourbon, but I'm concerned that it is the version they tweaked the share value for and will not be generating as good a return because it finds smaller primes. Any thoughts?

I can't confirm if the new Ypool miner is more effective than the newly custom released miner. Will be performing tests on 3 processors.

Eager to hear your report back.

So far compared to 7.1 it's quite a bit more effective. Although right now I have my AMD Turion X2 and A6-3400m beating one of the top i3s ever made in the i3 3225.

Now time to compare to Ypool (if I can't see a trend across all 3 this will call for longer test periods).

Just read in mcxnow chat that someone has a working GPU miner they coded themselves.  They claim to have earned nearly 300,000 XPM with their 25 x 7950s.  And they also claim to have sold 150,000 of that over the past few days, which would explain the dip in price recently.

Is it Luke-JR?

Can somebody point me to the best version for Windows 7 32 bit on Core i3-540?

You don't have AVX so I suggest 7.1 instead of the 7.1 AVX

Leave it on stock settings overnight. Don't forget to press C after your auto tune has stabilized (after about 20 min). Pressing C will auto tune your L1 Cache. Write the results down and be sure to include that all other settings were on stock.

How is everyone doing with this? I see this thread has jumped quite a bit since X3Maniac's post.

Anyone satisfied with XPM earnings @ ypool?

I'm so so about it. I got terribly unlucky waiting over 2 weeks for a block on the HP builds staying up to date on every release so I went to Ypool. I likely would have made more XPM solo mining but I just couldn't risk a GPU miner coming out and never having the same ability to make up for my lost time making no XPM with the three processors I have here. Tuning this miner is a bitch. I've gone through dozens of combinations and used every indicator at my disposal to test mining effectiveness. Nothing is set in stone and most of it is luck however I find anything that isn't a server, or high end processor likes a sieve size under 1000000. That's my experience. It's late so I probably made no sense.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 15, 2013, 08:59:48 PM
I was running the 64 bit wine one, but i am just going by what pps says and it does fluctuate a lot. This one was running around the 15k-20k range, and the 7.1 seemed to hover around 30k, but i really don't know much about how this works, so maybe that's invalid. Running on an AMD A6-3650.

Are you using stock settings? I have a A6-3400m which actually is quite similar to your chip. Mine likes less than 1M sieve size. Trying to tune it.

Hello my friendīs i read all the pages of the topic and i want to ask a few questions.
I have an intel core i5 3210 m 2.5 ghz with turbo boost up to 3.1 ghz.
1 What is the best version of jhPrimeminer for my micro?
2 What is the best configuration for it?
3 Can i do solo mining o i got to mine in yPool?

I will apreciate answers. Please leave primecoin or bitcoin adress for thank you for your advices.
Thankīs for wrote the topic and thankīs for your time. See you soon and have a nice day.

Pd: I forgot to mention i use windows 7 ultimate 64 bits in my computer.

My i3 3220 seems to like:-o ypool.net:10034 -u xxxx -p xxxx -t 4  -s 1088000 -d 15
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] Working on a GPU miner for Primecoin on: August 13, 2013, 01:45:43 PM
Pls let us know what is the status Mtrlt.

Public status updates are of more value for competitors rather than for customers (err... well, donators). Perhaps Mtrlt informs about his progress privately, avoiding posting here.

Nope nothing here and I donated. Sad

That's exactly what we would expect you to say...  Wink

Obviously when this thread goes quiet and there are "Wink" going around we can put 2 and 2 together. I don't have enough GPUs to make a 1BTC donation profitable, but I'm still curious as to how good the GPU miner really is.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 12, 2013, 09:04:26 PM

Please post an AVX version.  I am seeing a serious reduction in performance in PPS (and in turn, chaining) on my A10-4600m.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1189851/jhPrimeminer-GMP-v7-AVX.zip

Would be nice to include msvcr110.dll.

Seems to run fine without msvcr110.dll for me over 6 hours.  I'll keep my stats with it and see if anything changes, although I think it was intentionally left out for the AVX build.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 12, 2013, 03:52:54 AM
Confirming there looks to be some sort of memory leak in v6, on one server without AVX I just restarted the process as it was using 11GB memory and only ~25% of the allocated threads. The other server with AVX was using 8GB RAM and same story, using only ~25% of allocated threads.

After restarting the processes they're both mining with full thread utilisation and using < 200MB memory.

Linux or Windows?
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 11, 2013, 07:21:47 PM

And later in the same thread:
Quote
to compare numbers:

v4 has 41 blocks found and 409 primecoins credited to the account.
--basically even with solo mining if i add the donation to the total

v6 has 51 blocks found and 370 credited to the account
--obviously this version is MUCH better at finding blocks and better for the pool over all. unfortunately, the share handling is killing this miner's profit potential.

Strictly speaking, the highlighted can be put under doubt. Standard deviation for 46 found blocks is about 0.5*sqrt(46) = 3.39. For 99.7% confidence interval it's 3*SD = 10.17, so the two values are within error. Need some more testing.

If these statistics are representative, then could we attribute them to any new functions added/omitted along with any new enhancements?

"500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be display"

http://ypool.net seems to be down. DDOS or updates/server restarts?

Edit: Lasted a brief moment. Everything back to normal.

Weird stuff... I'm using v6 and the last 3 shares as soon as I find one I get disconnected.

08/11/13 - 16:08:09 - SHARE FOUND !!! (Th#: 2) ---  DIFF: 6.717313 - VAL: 0.100    >6
xpt: Disconnected, auto reconnect in 30 seconds
Sieve/Test ratio: 74.7 / 25.3 %  - New PrimorialMultiplier: 59
Sieve/Test ratio: 100.0 / 0.0 %  - New PrimorialMultiplier: 61
Sieve/Test ratio: 0.0 / 100.0 %  - New PrimorialMultiplier: 59
Sieve/Test ratio: 0.0 / 100.0 %  - New PrimorialMultiplier: 53
Sieve/Test ratio: 0.0 / 100.0 %  - New PrimorialMultiplier: 47
Sieve/Test ratio: 0.0 / 100.0 %  - New PrimorialMultiplier: 43

Anybody saw something similar?

Edit: It keeps happening now all the time, already like 5 times now at least and maybe some more times I didn't saw it.
I saw some disconnected messages a few minuets ago. But seems to not be doing that.

I'm getting the same problem. My other miners are still working however, which his weird. I could not re-connect after disconnecting my miner and trying to connect again immediately. Don't know why. Help?
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 08, 2013, 05:35:28 PM
Actually, I'm having the same problem with v6 as I previously had with v5, where it runs fine for a while, but then drops down to about 40% load. Also, my Val/h is much lower then before, previously it was around 17-18 with v4 and with v6 after an hour or so it's hovering around 5. Any idea what is going on mumus?

Make sure you aren't throttling down because of heat issues.

I don't think that is a problem either, the 8 cores are all within 57 to 66 C. I don't think that should be a problem.

AVX? Make sure you have C++ up to date.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 08, 2013, 04:17:24 PM
The miner seems to be running, but it keeps throwing an error:

err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x140061040 "?" wait timed out in thread 002f, blocked by 0032, retrying (60 sec)

Any idea why?

Edit: It doesn't appear to matter too much seeing as I just found a block for the pool.

I have no idea but I will try to find out what can cause this.

This is happening in v6 running through wine on my linux box (Ubuntu 13.04). This is the same machine that were the load is dropping.
I am working around that problem by killing and restarting the miner every half hour, BTW).

I've tried to test also on a 12 core Linux (Ubuntu 12.10) machine using wine and I didn't got so far. It's crashing all the time so I'm also restarting using a script. The problem that I have only 1Gb RAM + 1Gb swap, and it seems that it is killed because of low memory. Under windows I can't see that has any memory leak and usually it uses about 30Mb (depending on the parameters). More investigation is needed. the problem that I'm less familiar to work under Linux especially when it comes to coding.

Check out this instruction list.: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255782.msg2853799;topicseen#msg2853799

You might helped by making a swap file in case you run out of memory.
