1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Marriage vs. Divorce on: April 26, 2018, 10:34:12 PM
First I would snap get a divorce because what is the point of being unhappy that is the dumbest thing anybody could do. Second I hope you had a pre-nup because if you didn't your ass is getting taken most likely in court. I also hope you didn't have a kid with this women because more likely than not, you will lose access to them to (for no good reason). If I were ever to get a marriage it would involve a pre-nup and I would maybe get a post-nup.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [Pre-Sale]Digitize:A Native Token Digitizing Loose Change for Cryptocurrency on: April 26, 2018, 10:27:08 PM
Is there anywhere we can see how much Digitize has raised thus far? I think more transparency in that regard would be good, please let me know if I can see the stats somewhere. Thank you!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Will Support EOS MainNet Token Swap (Impact on Price?) on: March 13, 2018, 04:51:11 PM
As this news reaches to the masses there will be an effective influence for sure.

Moreover, EOS is already retraced more than 50% from its ATH so it is due for some gains and this announcement will have a positive impact on the price action of EOS in the coming weeks.
It is paramount to know when the swap is taking place though, they don't note it on that announcement. Does anybody know the day the swap will happen because that significantly effects whether price will rocket or not.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: March 13, 2018, 04:48:51 PM
I think of buying new coins this year, as the exchange rates are going down and it is a good opportunity to have nice return in the future.
I fully agree with you. Now is the best time to buy altcoins, because in the future with the growth of coins will give a good profit. This is exactly what many are waiting for now.
If last year is any indication, then altcoin season is just around the corner. Has felt like forever since we did some mooning but that is probably because I don't do anything other than crypto ever lol Undecided. A month in crypto honestly feels more eventful than a real year in life, which makes the last couple months feel like forever! Padded up a few of my bags the last couple of week, am looking to add more too but need a breakout to be confirmed first.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best country for crypto? on: March 13, 2018, 04:41:40 PM
it seems a very good country for crypto I think the country that has legalized the crypto currency such as:

Russia
China
japan
usa
singapore.

and other countries will follow their steps.

You make me laugh it is if you don't know what the USA has done historically with emerging industries and that alone would make me leave them off this list. You conveniently forgot Estonia, Canada, and Switzerland off your list all of whom are leaders in this space.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google too closing crypto ads on: March 13, 2018, 04:37:20 PM
That is obvious, but google is trying to protect people from scammers. some scammers are using google ads to decieve people by putting fake details on their ads. a good scammer can create a fake MEW phishing site and promote the link using google ads for people to click and get redirected to the fake site to steal their details.
But only a complete moron would click a MEW link that comes from an ad, that is completely insane. Not actually but still super naive to trust anybody on the internet, you gotta always protect yourself thats number one priority.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: March 13, 2018, 04:34:27 PM
I would only be afraid if I clicked fishy links all day which I do not do, and if I used a wallet that had the keys on my computer which does not happen. I feel extremely safe but that is because I put the power in my own hands, wouldn't feel safe otherwise.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Clouds are the best? on: March 13, 2018, 02:04:25 AM
It isn't the best way sure, but if you are somebody with limited resources and you want to get some skin in the game it is most certainly reasonable. I have a friend who ventures in cloud mining and apart from the NH hack at the tail end of last year the experience has been pleasant. Sure you can't make the most that way either, but it is less risky if you know what you are doing.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your prediction about the price of Bitcoin at the end of this month? on: March 13, 2018, 01:59:48 AM
It is my hope that this month Bitcoin will close above 12k, I dont need a 13k close. My prediction however is that we will end up between 9-10k with another month of chop ahead of us. I didn't know how much I hated chopping sideways, but it does beat falling down the cliff Cheesy.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: The breakout is fake, BTC price will dip again. on: March 13, 2018, 01:53:49 AM
Personality, I'm in from early enough that I'm comfortable for it to go to around $1,000 at the bottom of a bear market.

At this point it definitely looks like we are transitioning into a bear market, because we've just come out of a huge overdramatic bull market and there's been a downtrend for a couple of months now.

If we're going into a bear market, I doubt it really matters that there are breakouts to people other than day traders.  I'll be sitting back and watching the exact amount of profit I could have fluctuate.
Bear market it is but isn't it too deep to go through $1,000? it does required something to bring down the trend of resistance. Besides prices are playing at around $8k to $10k and the price do fluctuate much more on the dip rather than on growing. It's a bit hard for day traders to adjust to this volatility this days... One must have to say this again to all the hodlers out there, "HODL". lol
While I would not want to see 1k Bitcoin, I am not even sure it is entirely possible at this point. We have tons of support at 6k, 5k, and 3k so would be hard to imagine us dipping beneath this. The worst pullback I have seen in Bitcoin is in the 70% range, and I don't know what my confidence would look or feel like if we went -95% it would make me wanna puke.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before and After Bitcoin came on: March 13, 2018, 01:45:06 AM
Got to know it intimately by studying Bitcoin online myself, but it has yet to change my life for the best. Some minor changes were had over the last little bit, but I won't see the lasting effect until a couple years more down the road it seems.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Know your limits! on: March 13, 2018, 01:42:51 AM
Well said OP and it seems like you learned a couple of good life lessons along the way which is good. That is one thing I have been preaching a lot of lately, and that is this space can be extremely profitable but only if you hodl or don't pay attention to your emotions. Deviate from that and you will most probably suffer (unless you are good day trader).
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opportunity to sell for bitcoin on: March 07, 2018, 04:49:34 PM
It depends on your life situation, if you are over leveraged and have too much money in Bitcoin then I say no take the fiat (despite the losing purchasing power). But if you are okay with fiat for a year and beyond then I would say try to facilitate everything in BTC, why not? You are risking but I think your expectation long term is better taking the BTC than not.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!! on: March 07, 2018, 04:43:53 PM
Playing games and downloading some apps on the store require payments, Is this the best time for those stores to open their payment method with cryptocurrency specially Bitcoin?
Steam, the famous games platform was accepting Bitcoin as a form of payments, sadly they remove it due to the late of 2017 network congestion. Personally, I hope Steam developers reconsider to make Bitcoin payments available yet again.
Sadly the famous store for mobile phone didn't accept any cryptocurrency payments. But there is altcoins called GAME. Basically, its an app store for a mobile phone but accepts cryptocurrency.
Everybody removed it late on in the year, even Microsoft and their products are a lot more in general. Yes GAME is good and MGO (MobileGo) is on the come up, if they can provide some good games then they stand to take a good market share from the top players in the space.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ALT bull season Dec-Jan? And why another bull season 2018? on: March 07, 2018, 04:42:04 PM
I will do my best but my experience is limited with this.

1) I wasn't here last March so can't comment on that, but from late Oct-early Jan Bitcoin went up from 5k to 20k and I would assume that some of this money poured over into the altcoin scene.
2) Most probably, but nothing is guaranteed. I don't know if conditions are same as last year but the consensus between the OGs on twitter is that it will happen. I will say about December though last year the dominance had reached a peak of 60% all the way from a low 38% (when altcoin and bitcoin pumping). Currently the low this year was 33% and right now we are at 43% dominance for BTC. If we can get above 50% I think that is a positive sign for a bull run.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: about airdrop ? can be trust? on: March 07, 2018, 04:34:14 PM
It can be but you should know that those programs are generally even more volatile than crypto as it is, and that is because an influx of coins is coming in the price can hardly remain same. Generally it puts a downward pressure on price, but after airdrop you should see if project is legit or not.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Cash will never dissapear, not even the Bitcoin freaks believe that" Mark Cuban on: March 07, 2018, 04:20:52 PM
Cash will never go away. I am sure that is true. Reason:
1 / Not every country is modern enough not to use cash.
2 / The world is still very poor and they only use cash.
3 / Cryptocurrency is facing the challenge of being hacked and used to serve money laundering purposes.
And it will take a long time before everyone in the world is able to have some kind of computer .
Or even if they have a computer but they don't have the money to replace it when it breaks down , that would mean they couldn't spend money till they buy a new one.
But i do believe a significant portion of the payments will move to crypto.
There is a fundamental piece of the equation that is being missed here. As of right now a Nokia phone costs about $25-50 dollars, but in about 5 years that price will be below $5. Now I know the whole world won't have computers, but nearly everybody will have a cellphone. Once they have the cellphone, and Segwit and LN are activiated worldwide then this whole conversation will be moot. Everybody who is in a "poorer" country now has access to banking (which 80% of this world currently doesn't) so for them its a huge win. For us in the 1st world, does it really matter if we use cash or not? I am what you would call a "Bitcoin freak or maxmalist" but I still don't see the need for getting rid of cash, it is just another form to be anonymous. In fact because it is another form to stay anonymous, I am in favor of it staying for my whole life.

ps wasn't trying to not answer question OP, in the grand scheme of things I think 600k is negligible amount of money considering we will have trillions inside Bitcoin.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the cryptocurrencies crashing today? on: March 07, 2018, 04:15:25 PM
Because BTC is and has been gaining momentum for the past couple of months and that slowly has been the "crashing" of alts. I hardly would call this crashing though, a crash would be much more severe of a nosedive.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: March 05, 2018, 07:46:47 PM
Just Bitcoin right now, I made a mistake late last year and didn't end up grabbing the Ethereum I wanted to. Fudged up but there will be another chance yet, especially when Ethereum switches over to Casper and the POS system. Will be interesting to see how they make that switch and if that is feasible type of switch Bitcoin could make in the future.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin/Bitcoin ratio on: March 05, 2018, 07:41:55 PM
Here is the picture you requested OP, and I believe the reason ETH has slipped from 12 million sats to 7 million sats is because Bitcoin has been growing the past couple of weeks. That generally means people will leave their altcoin positions, in order to ride the BTC bullish train. Now there are more variables than just one, but I believe this to be the main one.
