1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet vs Meta Mask wallet on: June 02, 2021, 01:31:59 PM
Centralized wallet is a big no no, only exchange wallets are an exception even they're centralized wallet since that's where trading took place. And everyone knows not to use exchange wallet as your personal wallet anyway. So if you plan to have a personal wallet, use Meta Mask wallet.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: August 31, 2020, 01:40:22 PM
For dead altcoins, the restart will be harder. If the project once took the popularity and it suddenly died, there's almost no coming back from it. But we want to hear it from you op if what happened to this discussion or to the project that you are interested in.
You have started a thread and for sure that you are eyeing for a project that you think has the potential. It's just a matter of management in your eyes.
Bringing back dead altcoins would mean a very hard task since you will be working again in a long process and yet no assurance if it will end sucessfully. I'd rather advise you to start a new and potential project and build trust on the investors because it might have bigger chances to make you profitable in the end rather than managing a project that has been abandoned already because of some serious issues.
Fixing something always harder than making it from a scratch, to be honest. A dead coin will have many problems exist and will take a huge of developer's time to address those matter. I really don't get it why would anyone want to restart a dead coin? If you like the coin, just copy it like 'with poker and blackjack' moto.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons Why am I adding as many Ethereum bags as possible? on: August 17, 2020, 03:55:26 PM
Only 13 days left for this month. ETH still hovers around $430 mark without any indication that it could break $500 price mark. To hit $700 or $900 at the end of this month is impossible. I can't think any scenarios that could help ETH come close that price mark in such a short amount of time.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New normal world will make crypto better on: August 06, 2020, 06:16:19 PM
I think covid has come as a blessing in disguise for crypt market. With so many businesses going out of real world they are being forced to figure out new ways to come up with. This allows people to familiarise themselves with crypto as an option for payment for their businesses. If things go correctly this can actually boost the adoption by at least 40% if not more.
Yeah, I also think the same. Crypto, by some strange reason and stigma around it, makes not many people really consider it as a form of investment. But when everything turns upside down, the traditional practice of investment and business becomes unprofitable make way for crypto to shine, open eye for a lot of people. Really a blessing in disguise, indeed.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto predictions on: August 02, 2020, 07:40:45 PM
Hey

Where do you go and check for cryptocurrency predictions? Besides trading view of course.

i can't seem to find other good pages..

Don't check for cryptocurrency predictions. You won't learn anything from prediction as its nothing more than looking for a bunch of different indicators and wildly making some sense out of it.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: August 01, 2020, 08:10:38 PM
I cringe every time see people said about a new project mooning only when it isn't, they throw a tantrum and called it's a trash coin. Really weird when most new altcoins can only go up due to the hype and nothing more. So people should stop expecting something goes mooning other than hype.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont sell off because of the period on: August 01, 2020, 03:02:47 PM
We all have a sort of threshold point in terms of time/period on holding an investment. After a set amount of time or period, we expected to see a profit or at least, a positive sign to justify a hodl status. If not, very hard to convince me personally to keep on holding it, profit or not. There is plenty of chance of there and to me, I don't want my capital fund not doing anything so I have to sell even as a loss.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PlusToken Ponzi Goes To Jail on: July 31, 2020, 05:07:49 PM
Wonder why there are so many ponzi and MLM scams in China and Asian in general? I saw too many ponzi and MLM scams in that region and still don't get it why people still fall for those scams. Worst, scammers able to amass $3 billion before finally arrested by police. Was it because people were too naive or police are too incompleted?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH LimiteD, Ponzi scheme project from Vietnam on: July 30, 2020, 05:08:01 PM
I noticed there are many Ponzi scheme projects are available in Vietnam! I found Eagle Rock Global, Tcapital, and this Eth Limited and some others. They are brilliant to hide their real identity because you can not realize entirely that these are Ponzi projects, but if you dig it hard, then you will recognize it! If I am not mistaken, I think ETH Limited has a bounty on this forum, and they successfully created hype, but later they are gone! Thank you for letting us know, do not join in any Ponzi scam projects!
There are many Ponzi scheme projects in Vietnam because their government was very weak on crackdown this kind of crime. Most victims were from some other countries and thus making it harder to pursue and convince the criminal in charge of the scheme since victims don't know how to report them to the authority. Hopefully, they fast track on their law over new kinds of crimes like this, or else, their country will become a safe haven for these criminals.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 23, 2020, 06:56:19 PM
So how do you make people not holding it as 'an investment'? Seriously, anything holds a little bit of value can be used as an investment and there is nothing you could do about it. Much less than cryptocurrencies with high value and a greater chance to earn profits.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KOK Platform Is Starting New Era on: July 19, 2020, 05:49:02 PM
Korean sure loves applying crypto to gaming and I do believe it has a lot of potential but for the beauty and fashion industry as well? A bit risky since there is a huge difference between crypto holders and beauty, fashion followers.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO might soon become an history in crypto world soon on: July 19, 2020, 05:18:37 PM
Soon is a stretch definition when I haven't yet seen any reliable method of raising fund that could replace IEO effective. Sure not every IEO promise back profit but they are mile better than ICO and if some thing want to replace it, they also need to mile better than the current IEO.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: July 18, 2020, 07:36:19 PM
I have no problem holding USDT on my trust wallet, all I avoid is buying the stable coins from unknown or less trusty source, I buy mine from binance meaning it's clean, stable coins like USDT is not something you can buy from just anybody, it can get freezed easily
Yeah, I don't know if I should glad or feel sad that USDT stabecoin today become almost like normal cash where if you take dirty cash, you could land yourself in the trouble.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: July 17, 2020, 06:05:45 PM
10 Ethereum is a huge loss for a newbie like you and I can understand you feel so bad right now but this is what cryptocurrency about. Not even one cryptocurrency holder or trader boast about they hasn't ever made a mistake and loss. You need to stand up and find a new goal to keep going forward even after this loss.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth going for me? on: July 16, 2020, 02:29:44 PM
Thank you guys for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I was unable to buy at all due to my internet disaster at very exact time, I guess just not in destiny. But probably will want to get some at some stage ahead.

Damn, that sounds like a fortunate event than unfortunate, my fren. You don't know if the price when it at the exchange will be higher than their turbo sale so don't try to push your luck and your money. There are plenty of fish to catch on crypto market, new and promising projects, and much better than this one.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get robbed by something you don't fully understand on: July 16, 2020, 02:25:01 PM
With years that I've been here in the forum, I've seen a lot of projects tying up to gold or precious metals.
And yet, only few of them emerged to continue their project and proved that they have real gold assets.
But one thing I can say if you are a serious investor, better buy physical gold rather than invest on a token or coin claiming to be gold-backed.
Because you have no idea about the absolute truth about their assets.
At least if you have your gold in your possession, whether small or large holdings, you are at peace that it will always be gold and not a token that may turn to be worthless one.
Even if they have real gold assets to back their crypto, I still don't get it why anyone willing to trust a stranger to store your gold and return back with crypto. I can understand people do that for fiat but for crypto, are they insane? Come on, either get a real gold and hold it by yourself, people.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm new here,what is altcoin on: July 05, 2020, 02:17:57 PM
The term "altcoin" existed way back in 2016 too. Just the way people refer to any crypto that wasn't Bitcoin at that time. Now, I think the term is very loose as some people like to use it with any crypto that wasn't ETH or crypto in the top.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: June 13, 2020, 10:11:51 AM
Late 2017 and early 2018 i was holding lots of coins and tokens from the ico's in that some i really trusted with solution and team (not only me most of crypto community trusted). Now this coins or token became nothing . But some projects i entered  to sell for small margin profit these projects given profit . So holding token or coin for long term is meaningless.
You mean holding bad coins/tokens even at long-tern bring back nothing? Well, that's obviously nothing new so maybe next time, holding long-term but for good coins/token instead?
