1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: December 17, 2017, 08:53:36 PM
I bought 1 Bitcoin at $2,000 dollars a few months ago. At the time that was about half of what I had saved being a recent college grad. When Bitcoin hit 15k and I realized I could pay off 2/3 of my student loan debt by selling it I did so. I have means of making more Bitcoin but getting rid of a majority of my debt was too much to pass up/
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: November 26, 2017, 03:19:43 AM
I dont think it will ever happen. Personally I think Bitcoin is now an "asset" and should be seen as internet gold, not a true currency.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: November 26, 2017, 02:25:49 AM
Its never too late to get into bitcoin! Dollar cost your way in. Buy what you can afford each week, that way if you buy at a high point it wont matter over the long term.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: November 04, 2017, 04:17:07 AM
Bitcoin will never "replace" gold. Both are excellent stores of value. A solid investor would hold both to prepare for any possibility in the future.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 04, 2017, 03:25:53 AM
Currently living off my job but stockpiling crypto like crazy. My hope is that it will be worth a lot more in 5-10 years and i can retire on it.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate 90% of Bitcoin investors on: November 04, 2017, 12:16:23 AM
-Why I hate 90% of Bitcoin investors
-because 100% of them are humans?
Are they? I think Skynet became sentient around 2008 or so. This whole Bitcoin thing was created so the robots will have something to use when they decide to take over.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to grow BTC steadily or safely? on: November 03, 2017, 04:46:22 AM
The best way I have found to "grow bitcoin" is to make a yotube channel related to crypto. Its not something a lot of people know about and if your content is good people will flock to it. Lots of the top crypto youtubers are getting payed in Bitcoin to promote altcoins and websites.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is officially banned in China !!! on: November 02, 2017, 11:08:55 PM
Not a surprise at all since most ICO there are just purely scams and just want to get money from people's pocket, it is such a good move for the government of china in order to protect their people for such schemes, such a strong decision from them Smiley
Rumors are coming out that China will be regulating ICOs and allowing them to start back up in 2018 only through the NEO platform tho.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: November 02, 2017, 09:59:44 PM
I use both Coinbase and Exodus. Most all of my Bitcoin is on Coinbase, with about 10% of it on Exodus along with all of my alt coins.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To Greed or to play it safe. on: November 02, 2017, 05:31:59 AM
I have never had aany issues with Coinbase. They are a legit company with millions of customers and FIAT use as well that makes them heavily regulated. They wont just "mess up" or lose your Bitcoin. Id stick with Coinbase for sure.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 05:29:57 AM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?
I dont really gets when some countries and government banned the bitcoin. It do nothing harm on them in fact this is a good benefit. The only reason i think why they banned the bitcoin because in the Metropolitan police the bitcoin is within in the bad and crime activities to other world this is the only reason i think
Countries ban Bitcoin because people can make fortunes in it and they have no way of taxing it. Governments need to charge taxes to function, Bitcoin is a direct threat to most governments.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese will be allowed to trade Bitcoin again soon on: November 01, 2017, 04:42:36 AM
I think previous issues raised by china its their strategy to hold more bitcoin in cheap price . then after Russia also came up with same issues but its couldn't able to succeeded. If china would done without any proper intention then they should be regretting now.
Even i am also thinking same chinese are proper strategist they could have knowing the price increase and also bitcoin fork so they prepared to get cheap coins by doing such all issues. Now price climbs back they will release their holdings.

I guess that once they finalized their decision, this would have the potential of significantly increase the price of bitcoins before the said fork in November. Like what you guys said, this also might even be a strategy in order to increase the price, thus making it the perfect opportunity to invest once again into bitcoins. Hopefully, they stay loyal to their word and they will hasten the process to bring less-burden to us holders.
This was all a calculate response to bring the price of Bitcoin down to buy tons of it, and they now have a new exchange starting in November. Some people think the Chinese governement is even running this exchange, they know what theyre doing.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Bans Bitcoin Mining - Is It Possible? on: October 31, 2017, 04:22:12 AM
China seems to be allowing a new crypto exchange to start trading for main land China in November. Some people think the government runs this new exchange, but with exchanges coming back to China I don't think they will ban Bitcoin mining.
14  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Declaring Bitcoin Income on: October 25, 2017, 04:51:45 AM
You can always go the localbitcoin route and trade it for FIAT in person without a bank.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a ICO on: October 24, 2017, 05:12:05 AM
Way too many ICOs hitting the market today. Because of this the money is spread to thin and legit good ICOs are having trouble reaching their goals.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: October 13, 2017, 03:52:57 PM
they have classes about every useless thing you could possibly think of at my college, so why not a class about something useful like Bitcoin?
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: October 13, 2017, 02:27:15 AM
Technically, bitcoin is not a money but some of it's functions is like money. Just like it's function for currency exchange. Bitcoin can be use as a medium of exchange. It can also be use as payment for salary. Bitcoin is now considered as the future money.
I think as long as bitcoin could be used to buy goods and has a rate or price in another currency. Any form of bitcoin. I would say that bitcoin is kind of money

Bitcoin is a digital money but it can be convertable to real money. I believe that It represents money because it has a value. You can use it as a payment to buy some stuff.

its not really money. I have Beanie Babies from 15 years ago that have a small amount of value that I can exchange for Fiat, but that doesnt make them money. Just because Bitcoin has value doesnt make it money, itsm ore like E-gold than actual money.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers are active these days. on: October 13, 2017, 02:07:17 AM
Some bitcoin users told me not to do transactions in these couple of days because hackers are active these days. I want to know is it true? or some kind of rumor? Anyone here who have faced such problem?
I really believe that hackers can hack our bitcon wallets. So for it to be prevented, we must always be careful enough to secure our passwords and email address. We should be careful in keeping these information always. We all need to be vigilant all the time because hackers are anywhere.
they cant hack a paper wallet or a cold wallet (like nano Ledger) as long as they dont get your seed phrase. If youre that paranoid go that route.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the Philippines uproar on: October 12, 2017, 02:13:29 AM
I doubt someone in the Philippines could afford a whole Bitcoin. I think ICOs would have much greater chance of changing peoples lives over there due to the cheap entry price.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next 5 year for Bitcoin on: October 12, 2017, 02:12:18 AM
I think other coins will steal some of the thunder away form Bitcoin in the future as some like Ethereum can do more. But I can still see a 25k - 35k Bitcoin in 5 years time.
