For me I think L1 projects are gonna explode in quarter 3 and 4. Though those potential ones like avalanche, matic, fantom, and near protocol has seen their good run. I think more users will pick this inspite of eth delay once more. Also Vitalik compared that fee will not be lowered when eth2 release so people will jump to other promising L1 instead. Im also taking look on kadena, maybe its still early and we cant see their complete explosion. But of course dyor.
Im here with you! I think that Near protocol is gonna explode.. Its amazing how developers are adopting their platform and how is growing the ecosystem.. For me, my bags are: 1. ROSE 2. NEAR 3. QRDO 4. SCRT I also think that the privacy narrative is gonna do it well... Just a look the last voting of UE and the KYC for the private transaction.. |

Update
After 3 weeks sending email every day and more than 1 month waiting.. Coinbase are going to check everything with OctaFX and send me back my funds...
I hope this post can help people to not lose the hope If they have the same or similar problem!!
I will wait for the funds...

Feeling sorry for your loss, but how you dare you to use coinbase with such as big amount. Why you do not use hot wallet like Bitcoin core or Electrum?
He had to use their services to buy those coins. but yeah, he had to withdraw them to his personal wallet before sending them to the private platform. That's a lot of money we are talking about here. @OP, am sure your problem will be resolved as far as you can prove tose coins are yours. keep all proofs safe such as transactions IDs and emails you exchanged with the private platform support (you may need it). Thanks! As I said... I bought the Bitcoins with CoinBase and then I sent to the platform.
All you have to do now is to find a way to get in touch directly with coinbase's support team.
I tried with Twitter and Reddit but not answer... Im going to try to find another email for send my case.. Because help@coinbase.com doesn't work. They don't answer email... |

Normally, I don't use Coinbase as a wallet, I use Coinbase for Buy Bitcoins or Sell them. The whole story is full of madness .

It is not the first time I bought Bitcoin. Its true that is the first time with this amount. After reading all the replies, it seems coinbase is the only one who can refund you back so just wait for their response it will take a while to get. Coinbase is such a big crypto trading platform so they will handle support tickets on a queue based as most platforms do so you don't blame for their late response you may have to consider these things before.
Thanks, the problem here is that they dont response... I just get automatic response... Coinbase staff thank you for the quarter mil. Caviar for everyone at the office canteen, hurrah!
Seriously though, if they just keep the funds (despite your admittedly rookie mistakes) that would be unconscionable. They should raise an investigation to determine origin of funds. If the "investment platform" can prove ownership of the sending address and confirm that the funds are yours, I see no reasonably excuse not to return the money to you.
There really shouldn't be more than a day's queue during what's one of the quietest trading periods. If it's over 3 weeks now, how long will it be during the next frenzy? Honestly, I didn't realise their support was quite this bad.
CoinBase don't need to prove the funds because I bought the 32 Bitcoin with SEPA and Coinbase. Then I sent them to an address.. and They sent them back to the same address. Why not, share the website of the platform you are talking about here so that we know if it is legit or not.
The platform is OctaFx its a legit platform. They sent to the same address as it's there compliance procedure... Whoops, I missed this followup post. OP, did you get your coins back yet or what?
I don't have them back. The platform sent to the same address (Hot wallet from Coinbase). So.. I don't have them in my wallet. I will keep pushing sending emails. It's the only way I can.. Because I try to put a post on Reddit, but I don't have karma, so they (Coinbase) erase my post. Anyone know any other email than help@coinbase.com?? Thanks! I will update when I have some news... |

Is this the terms for coinbase or the investment platform you mentioned? I'm a bit confused here.
Because how come you sent it already to the external wallet and for investment (from coinbase) also they (coinbase, if I'm correct) sent it back to the wallet where you sent them after you did not accept their tos.
Sorry maybe my english its not so good..  I bought Bitcoin in Coinbase and then I sent to a private platform (For trading and investments). When I signed up on the platform, I accepted the terms and conditions so I sent the Bitcoin to their wallet. After this, They changed some of the terms about rates and roi, so I decided not to use their services, so I requested to have my Bitcoin back. They returned them to me without problem. The problem is that they returned the Bitcoins to the same address of wallet from where were sent. In Coinbase,the address for Send are different to the address for Receive. So thats why I can´t see the Bitcoin in my wallet. But I have the hash where we can see the sent from Coinbase(wallet A) to their wallet, and then I have the hash where we can see the sent back from their wallet to Coinbase(wallet A). The problem I have is that they don't answer my support requests. I only receive automatic emails like "Thanks for writting.. . We've just checked your account and we confirm that your request has been properly escalated. These reviews are typically completed within 4-5 business days... " but I've been waiting for more than 3 weeks... Can you tell what external wallet or investment platform you are talking into?
As far i understand;
Coinbase -> trading platform/service -> Coinbase
but the funds being resent by external wallet/trading platform havent received on coinbase wallet? Am i right?
I have explained my problem again, I hope it's more clear now!  As I said I am talking about a big amount of money, 32 Bitcoins exactly. So I think I should have already received a response from a team of the Coinbase support and not a simple automatic response...  |

Has anyone had problems with Coinbase? I have commented on a topic about my problem but I start with a new topic about the CoinBase Support. One month ago I bought Bitcoin with Coinbase (big amount) and then I sent them to an external wallet of a trading and investments platform. When they showed me the terms and conditions, I did not accept them so They sent me my Bitcoin back but They sent to the wallet from I sent them. As you know, in Coinbase, the address from where you send and the address for receive are different, so I can see both hash of the transactions from wallet A to external wallet B and then external wallet B to wallet A. But I dont see the Bitcoin on my wallet. I've been trying to contact the support team for 3 weeks, opening tickets and answering the automatic mails with the case number, but I don't receive any update. It's very frustrating because I'm talking about a lot of money and I don't have a simple answer from the team. |

it's never happened to me personally but it's not unheard of. i can't find any threads about specific cases on coinbase, but it took binance a few weeks to sort out a similar situation. how many times have you followed up on your ticket? the only time i had an issue that required customer support, coinbase replied with ~3 irrelevant boilerplate emails before a competent human finally addressed my problem. you need to keep pushing them, otherwise it'll fall through the cracks. also, post your issue and ticket # on https://www.reddit.com/r/coinbase ......that tends to get their attention. Thanks! I will post also in reddit!.
I understand that you sent BTC from Coinbase to some other wallet (service) and they sent them back to you at the same address in Coinbase?
If this happened, then you have nothing to worry about. Coinbase is a very solid exchange and if it wasn't some suspicious service (the one that gave you back BTC) then you will definitely get your BTC back.

Hi! I dont know if posting in the right post.. I have a problem with CoinBase. I bought Bitcoin with CoinBase and then I sent to a wallet from a platform. I didn´t accept the conditions of the platform so they sent me back the Bitcoin. The problem is they reversed the transaction and sent it to the same address. In CoinBase the address from where I sent is different from the address where I have to receive. I am waiting for a response for a month from support.... Has anyone had a problem like that? Thanks |

Despues de estar varias semanas expectantes sobre la reunion del G20 y su debate sobre las criptomonedas no he visto que halla afectado como esperabamos, de momento. Aunque lo que se ha dicho creo que no ha sido del todo malo pero no ha sido muy conclusiva. Por lo menos admiten que la tecnología blockchain -sin nombrarla- que soporta a las criptomonedas, reconocen que tienen un gran potencial para lograr que el sistema financiero y la economía toda sean más eficientes. Pero seguidamente, se retoma la acusación recurrente del discurso institucional que asocia los criptoactivos con el lavado de dinero y con el financiamiento al terrorismo. De momento lo más claro que tienen es que en Julio tienen la segunda reunion y deben llevar las propuestas de regulación.. Es verdad que el mercado anda un poco inestable.. pero por lo menos se empiezan a ver claros soportes y resistencias y hacen que se vaya viendo algo mas claro.
Respecto a lo del G20 yo no lo veo tan malo, soy el único? yo creo que van a decir cosas buenas que van a hacer que el mercado se asiente y responda como paso con el SEC. Ya empiezan a creer en el blockchain.. Saben que han nacido para quedarse y lo que van a hablar es de regulación y no de prohibición que son dos cosas distintas. En todo momento han dicho que quiere regular sobre todo para defender a los inversores aunque esto ultimo si que no me lo creo...

Confio en que suba, lo que creo que es la gente se ha hecho demasiadas expectativas y pensaban que anda mas terminar el año nuevo chino y el mes de Febrero, todo iba a subir de golpe.. Yo creo que antes le tocará un periodo de acumulación y después empiece a subir!!

Miedo me da que toda esta gente, politicos y banqueros, fueran diciendo que todo esto es una estafa.. Que el bitcoin es humo y estafa piramidal... Y ahora vienen todos con su piel de corderito que si son buenas.. que sin bitcoin no hay blockchain y esta va a revolucionar muchos sectores...
Al final habrán buscado una manera de choricear y esconder sus millones robados y robarnos mas y seguro que por eso andan todos apoyando las cryptos!
Por cierto habeis visto la noticia de Circle comprando Poloniex? Goldman Sachs es de los principales inversores de Circle.... Miedo me da...

Claro.. Y sobre todo ahora que a traves de Circle han comprado Poloniex...
Al principio todos estos personajes, politicos y bancos, estaban en contra de todo esto de las cryptomonedas y blockchain, esa epoca me gustaba más.
Ahora vienen todos escondidos con su piel de corderito diciendo que las crypto son buenas.. que blockchain es una maravilla... Miedo me da que vengan así de suavecito... No me fio ni un pelo!!!
No saben ya come meter el diente en el pastel.. El problema es que crearan las monedas.. y la gente las apoyará como pasa con Ripple.. Y no se dan cuenta que todo esto de las crypto se creo para luchar contra este sistema.... Me daria mucha pena que todo esto se fuera por ese camino...
Veremos a ver que pasa...

Buenas!
Primero debes convertir los Doge en Bitcoin a traves de un exchange que tenga la pareja Doge/Btc como por ejemplo Bittrex, Cryptopia o Mercatox.
Una vez convertidos a Btc deberias retirarlos a alguna plataforma que te permita hacer el cambio de Btc a Fiat como por ejemplo Coinbase.
Esos serian los pasos a seguir mas sencillos, tambien podrias mirar tarjetas que funcionen con Bitcoin dependiendo del pais donde vivas..
De todos modos.. 20doges no creo que te merezca la pena.. te va a salir mas caro las comisiones de transacciones pero bueno.. ahi tienes los pasos!

Estaba claro que papiBTC iba a recuperarse aunque de momento pienso que algo va a bajar.. Se ha dado de morros con la barrera de los 12k y tenia que superarla para poder romper la linea de tendencia bajista.
Pero bueno el volumen está aumentando por lo que dentro de poco se recuperará e iniciará su rally hacia nuevos ATH!!

Menuda racha llevamos este 2018 con las inversiones... Creo que se va a empezar a notar todo el efecto del Quantitative Easing de estos últimos años. Esperemos que la caída de la economía no sea como la del 2008, pero al final cuando los bancos centrales se ponen a intentar arreglar las cosas muchas veces lo único que hacen es postergar la caída.
Hasta ahora no había mucha relación crypto-down jones, está por ver esta semana a ver cómo afecta este pequeño crack en las bolsas, porque venimos ya algo tocados en crypto en este último mes.
He leido por ahi que en el 2018 se espera un colapso financiero segun el reporte de Keiser ya que dicen que el sentimiento de crisis está a niveles de 2007 y desde 2008 hasta a dia de hoy no se ha sanado practicamente nada... Lo unico que han ido haciendo es inyectar millones y millones.. Para mi, siempre he dicho que las cryptomonedas van a ser el alfiler que va a hacer estallar la burbuja financiera en la que nos han metido... A ver que pasa! |

Pues sin duda, el paso que han dado hoy ha sido en la buena dirección en favor de la criptomoneda, si ayer pedía calma en un mensaje, hoy me reafirmo amigos, hay que tener paciencia y no mal vender, toda venta por miedo implica debilitar más la criptomoneda. ¿Que porqué me reafirmo y pido paciencia hasta la subida?
Pues porque hoy 5 de febrero, tal y como comentaba en otro mensaje, se ha reunido la comisión de Comercio de Futuros de Productos Básicos (CFTC) y la Comisión de valores y Bolsa de los Estados Unidos (SEC) para analizar las funciones de Blockchain, monedas virtuales e ICO. La reunión ha sido en sesión abierta y ha durado dos horas. Voy a resumir el resultado y acuerdo de la reunión en una sola frase:
Si no hubiera Bitcoin, no habría blockchain.
Sin duda eso está influyendo para que suba el valor estas últimas horas, y es más, dará tranquilidad al mercado e inversores, es lo que necesita ahora mismo la criptomoneda.
Ambas partes han reconocido entre sus más y sus menos los beneficios de blockchain y de los valores en general de internet. El enfoque de la reunión es simple, ilustrando distintas etapas de la vida de internet y de lo que esta tecnología a aportado a lo largo de estos años a la sociedad, en su día apoyaron la expansión de internet dando via libre a inversiones para ampliar sus infraestructuras, las innovaciones basadas en internet han revolucionado casi todos los aspectos de la vida, desde las telecomunicaciones hasta el comercio, el transporte, investigación, desarrollo, siempre con la máxima de "no hacer daño" sino todo lo contrario, y señores, este es el enfoque de internet, el correcto.
Y todavía mejor, además del optimismo que han visto las partes sobre el blockchain y la criptomoneda, aún afirman que las monedas digitales requerirán de una supervisión regulatoria más atenta en cuanto al fraude y manipulación, dejando claro, que como responsables deben dejar hacer todo lo posible para dejar espacio para el crecimiento.
Otra frase que me ha gustado mucho, y que es de ley reconocer, son los derechos adquiridos en el tiempo, dado el comportamiento de internet en general, no podemos barrer la arena de la playa, las monedas virtuales marcan un cambio de paradigma en la forma en la que pensamos sobre los pagos, los procesos financieros tradicionales y la participación masiva de los usuarios en la actividad económica no se puede ignorar, al contrario, se debe tener en cuanta, apoyar y regular para que no sufran fraudes.
Incluso Jay Clayton, presidente de la SEC, hasta ahora reacio al avance de la criptomoneda, siempre más bien detractor, a admitido hoy el papel de esta en el ecosistema financiero moderno, manifestando ahora tras la reunión ser optimista y trabajar en favor del desarrollo de la tecnología financiera facilitando la formación de capital y proporcionando oportunidades desde la perspectiva de la regulación financiera. En definitiva, dando mayor protección a los inversores.
Al mismo tiempo, Jay Clayton, manifiesta su preocupación en proteger a aquellos que invierten su dinero, estudiando el mercado para evitar en la medida de lo posible estafadores que puedan aprovecharse del entusiasmo que la criptomoneda está levantando en los usuarios.
Clayton ha mencionado que él y Giancarlo han "forjado una relación sólida". Están dispuestos a trabajar juntos para llegar a un marco normativo sólido. En términos simples, parece haber un gradiente que comienza en las ICO, a las monedas virtuales, y luego a DLT. DLT necesita la menor regulación y, de hecho, tanto la SEC como el CTFC parecen alentar a cualquier persona dispuesta a ampliarlo. Las ICO están del otro lado, requieren la mayor regulación y las monedas virtuales están en el medio, necesitan protección contra el fraude y la manipulación del mercado.
Giancarlo era muy optimista en sus sentimientos hacia la criptomoneda. En su discurso de apertura, dijo que "debemos respetar el interés de esta generación en las criptomonedas", castigar a defraudadores, ayudar a que no tengan impedimentos, y concluyó manifestando lo interesados que están sus hijos con el mundo del Bitcoin y lo emocionante que es verlos tan interesados y entusiasmados.
El senador Crapo mencionó que ninguna de las agencias tiene jurisdicción completa sobre las criptomonedas e ICO. Giancarlo y Clayton coincidieron en que pueden necesitar autoridades adicionales para regular. Clayton también se refirió brevemente al problema de que la SEC no tiene dinero suficiente para contratar a más personas.
Dicho lo anterior, quiero puntualizar este dato, fuera de que pueda ocurrir en todas las áreas gubernamentales, hay que decir que si la criptomoneda gana volumen de negocio y con ello importancia en el mercado financiero, obtendrán más presupuesto para futuras contrataciones de personal, que redundará en mayor beneficio de regulación para los inversores de criptomonedas. Así que eso requiere de nuestro esfuerzo amigos, esto es algo que tenemos que hacer entre todos.
A la pregunta del Senador Warren, de como hacer más seguras estas monedas, Clayton respondió que hay que apartar aquellas que no sean seguras, y estar atentos a los movimientos del mercado para evitar fraudes.
Todas las partes están de acuerdo en que, las criptomonedas permitirán el crecimiento de los Estados Unidos de la misma manera que lo hizo Internet. Estados Unidos debe ser un líder en este aspecto y asegurarse de que nadie se lastime en el proceso.
Señores, a mí, esta me parece una muy buena noticia.
Desde mi punto de vista tambien me parecen muy buenas noticias, junto a las noticias de Singapur que no van a banear las crypto y los bancos de Australia que tampoco van a prohibir la compra/venta de Bitcoins. Está claro que las regulaciones traeran su parte buena y su parte mala, pero ojo, desde mi punto de vista una regulaciones seguron que son mejor que algunas prohibiciones como estamos viendo algunos sitios como China.. Veremos a ver que pasa y esperemos que todo el mercado se recupere y todos sonrientes de nuevo! Saludos! |
