like the poster above me said, it depends on your goal, if it's for a long term investment (buy, store and forget) it is indeed the right moment to buy because from now on it can only increase the value (with some drops here and there), for trading? well, it's a bit too high but you can always try with a small amount of cash and see. The basic idea is to buy and forget, long term investment and don't listen to FUDS around, invest what you can lose and live happily!

in this kind of topics we have to define the words "fall" and "ceiling/peak" because otherwise we are talking about nothing. How much is "fall" for you? back to 0$? 10k$? and what's the peak? 20k$? 1 million? Yes BTC will fall back to xxx and will rise again to xxx but these numbers can't be defined in this world. Us, as a community, developers and all the people involved in this world, supporting it in different ways can make it rise or die miserably because an idea, a project without any support, followers is destined to die forgotten. How many people will stop all of a sudden to support BTC in order to make it die? I don't think BTC will ever die (put aside the market value) because it was a revolution, a genius invention and not just a trend, or a meteor passing by. Blockchain and transaction fees are slowing down this project but i would not be worried about this long lasting idea!

consider crypto as money and ask yourself the same question: how do i get paid more? Like everything in our life, nothing is easy and nothing is free, you have to work for that and offer your services (either work for BTC, offering a service, paid campaign and so on). There is no easy way to make money in crypto unless you have LOT of money to invest and do some margin trade.. anyone who claim "follow this method to get rich with BTC in only one week!" it's pure bullshit, we more or less passed through this period and back in 2010 was kind of profitable (faucets, gambling, etc.) of now no, nada, niet it doesn't works anymore. Define "make money", how much you want to make? then adapt to your goal but keep in mind it will not be easy, nor fast.

Yep, everything on the internet who contain the word Bitcoin/BTC or crypto is subject to spam, if you go through the blogs, forums, facebook comment section you only see mindless spam or ref links, how to get rich with only 3 click!! and crap like this, i can't really imagine how hard are mods/admins of this forum to keep the forum clean from that (not counting all the "brand new" users just registered to post crap and then disappear). Captcha never solved anything, it can stop the basic registration bots but it does nothing against the new wave of spams.. What about setting alla the fields as mandatory? maybe with a dropbox menu and not free text? Another action you can take is to "relegate" new members in certain sections with an automatic purge after xx hours/day so the people who are willing to stay will go through this and understand your admin point of view.

intangibility it's the most fear point of BTC, people who are not educated in crypto think this is a bubble and it's just some numbers which doesn't exist anywhere, can't be touched (i've also heard "are not taxed! how can we consider this currency real") and rely on a internet protocol! Having fear of something you know fully understand it's in the human nature, myself as an example, i'm ignorant in electricity so every time i have to do any small electric work at home, i shut down everything and still have fear to get electrocuted. It's stupid? it can sound stupid but if you try to walk in their/my shoes you will see this point; then, there is the lazy part of the human nature that stop people to get into this world "oh BTC are 1 millions zimbabwee dollars! that's too much, i'm already late, i don't have time, it's worthless to join now". This is my point of view not just for BTC but for everything get educated can give you something back despite the topic!

This is a perfect topic for the story of what happened to me couple of days ago at work. I was outside the building for a quick break and met one of my old manager, we started to chit chat about many topics and then he said "have you read the BTC news in the newspaper?" boom, the bomb was dropped and me, as an hodler, i started to explain him what i did when i entered this world. He was interested in investing some money in crypto, especially ofc BTC and in a long term. Long story short, we talked for nearly 2 hours about wallets, blockchain, exchanger and so on, told him to start with a wallet, how to secure it and so on, then where to buy BTC, how exchangers works, localbitcoin site and everything related to this world. We continued our discussion through the week and today decided to contact him asking if and where he bought his first BTC dust and guess what was his answer? "i will wait for a while now the price is too much".. waiting for getting educated in this world it's perfectly fine for him, what about you? are you waiting for BTC to go back to 200$? Do you really think it will happen anytime soon? That's kinda hard to see soon.. Like i told him, start with small investment, read this forum which is a gold mine of information, every month invest something (if you can) and forget about it for a while.

Besides the topic, Japan is the most advanced country in the world, they are looking at the future like no one else and this is the best way to show to the world how it should be. On the other hand, as an employee i would rather ask for a 50/50 for many reasons, first because i can't pay everything with BTC, try to pay your electricity bill with BTC if is not accepted: you have to sell some to get fiat and then pay the bill (keep on the list transaction fees which as now, are quite high). All in all, being paid with a part of my salary a BTC it's considered an investment for the future like most of the holders in the world but we still need cash in the real world, not even in Japan cash is replaced totally with BTC. Another side of the coin (pun not intended) is about taxation, how they will taxes the salary if paid in full BTC? This is an interesting point i would love to read.
