That's not practical especially in McDonalds shop, waiters must be fast for each order because there's usually, at the peak time, a long queue.. it will just not work

well, sometime when i check the BTC price, especially in the last couple of days i'm like "wtf is happening! panic! panic! panic!" but i think it's understandable then i get my crap back and blame myself for not being able to invest more while the price is still "low".
I have not much invested at the moment but you know, every money you put in this crypto world are hard earned money that you can't use for your everyday use and losing them it's a bad situation.

Come on guys, read around, you are in the right forum, there are tons of very expert members you can follow, don't take in a personal way but really, repeating the same question over and over and over means you are not taking any effort to just read.

by the first quarter or 2018 for sure BTC will reach 15k$ or more, definitely is not gonna happen by the end of december due to price correction still happening.
For sure, it can't be predicted anymore or better, i'm not gonna rely on any prediction because you will get disappointed (in a good or bad way).

reaching 15k$ by the end of the year looks hard to reach unless the price skyrocket in a couple of days, price is still under correction but for sure id say BTC will steadily reach and stay 10/11k which is a great achievement.

mining doesn't worth the effort at the moment, you could invest the same amount of money you would use to start mining to buy directly BTC.
Holding is the key, BTC is a long term investment, it's a different story if you want to mine altcoins (but the future of alt coins still rely on BTC market value).
in a nutshell: buy BTC, hold and enjoy the ride!

BTS are a very long term investment, this fluctuation should not worry the hodlers because in the long run, BTC will be back on truck or even higher than before.
Hold tight unless you are a daily trader, in this case every big fluctuation can get you some gain (like the one we was 2 days ago).
Set yourself a goal and pursue it no matter what, BTC is still the king of crypto and will last very long, for the alt coins its a different story.

isn't like this every time? i mean, alt coins rely on BTC price, there is no alt which is independent from BTC in the good and in the bad.
The alt coins prices are always following the BTC trend, not strictly but it's more or less the sam, is BTC growing? alt follow up, same when BTC goes down.. nothing new for me

this is an expected correction to the recent pump to 11k$, it was very well expected at some point because people started to sell to gain profit, i don't think it's gonna end very soon, at least another week of instability and then will grow back (steadily or quickly we can't predict).
It's normal and a lot of people were waiting for the price correction to be able to buy BTC at a reasonable price.

this happened in the past and will keep happening in the future, after an huge pump there will always be a dump: casual traders, whales, people who want some quick profit, they sell at high price like we had in the last couple of days.
After the dumping there are a lot of people ready to buy at the cheapest price possible and so on, it's a roller coaster trip guys, hold tight, fasten your set belt and enjoy the ride!

BTC in this moment has an huge impact on the community and the entire world because it has a value, what would happen if the price of BTC will drop to 0 and stay at 0 forever? how many would abandon the ship? 95% of the people i would say because there is no gain or value anymore, in this case, BTC will go back to the starting point where, only the people interested in the blockchain, the technology behind and the project Satoshi has created.
At this point, there will be someone who will find a different use of the blockchain and the story will repeat itself with a different name, different purpose but the core technology is here to stay.
Banning? will not happen, think about torrent, p2p and so on, they are keep trying to ban/block it but it doesn't work, it just doesn't due to the nature of the protocol: decentralization, there is no head quarter to shut down.. if you want to shut it down completely you have to close internet, easy as that!

if i was in your shoes, i would honestly sell couple of BTC (let's say one or two) because at the moment i'm under heavy expenses for medical treatment, so if you are in need of quick cash, cash out some and leave the rest in your wallet.
Set a goal (a selling exit point) for some more of your BTC and so on, so you will not regret to have sold or hold for too long.
One thing i keep reminding myself is: if i jump out of the BTC train, will i be able in the future to reinvest in it? There is no answer in this, it's based on your money and the willingness to invest in this project once again, it's an hard decision but without goals you will never sell anything and this can be scary and mind stressing.

i agree with the poster above, this news is a great news in one way, on the other side of the coin market will be manipulated even more on their will.
This news is good only for whales, for small investors this is actually a crap news.. i don't know how i feel about this.

these are not prediction, are just speculation and in the wrong way.
Everyone would love to see BTC going to 1 million dollar by tomorrow morning but that's just not practical, it's not gonna happen overnight; it require a massive news (or more than one at the same time) to reach these numbers.
be practical guys, be a dreamer but just do not rely on this speculations.

I am at the window watching the graph keep growing and thinking when and at what price the correction will happen.

because gold is something you can touch, while BTC, unless converted into fiat, are just numbers.
Gold is a very solid form of investment, long term..same goes for BTC but the fluctuation makes bitcoin a bit less appealing for certain kind of investors (think about people investing into art as painting as well).
