342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suddenly, Cheeky Bitcoin Tops $6,000, Ditching Analysts’ Bear Market on: October 27, 2017, 07:14:41 AM
Yup, after the bitcoin gold split, the price dive a little and we see some roller coaster ride. But yesterday there was a suddenly surge in price, others attribute it to the looming news that amazon will accept bitcoin as mode of payment in their website. However, there's no commitment from their end so it is still consider as rumor.

well, during the folk BTC went down from 5k euro to 4600.. within 2 days BTCs are back to 5k.. i thought it would take longer to recover but it doesn't looks like that bad.
From now on i expect the price to steadily raise without any problem.

Isn't it nice when bitcoin proves our prediction wrong? LOL. You think that it will take longer to recover, however the price jump from $5300-$5700 and now almost touching $6000. So we next time don't doubt the ability of bitcoin to recover from minor price correction. The price will go upward trend, you just have to wait and hold on your bitcoins.

if you try to predict BTC you are going to have hard time lol
It's almost like all in betting on red or black, you have 50% chance to get your prediction right, i've always loved roller coasters and BTC seems to act like that, btc gold was almost ignored by the community who is sticking to btc, nothing to worry about!

344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info PHISHING ATTACK on: October 26, 2017, 12:48:03 PM
i can tell you one quick method to screw with them (i know a lot of mail-link-clicker even from bank where they do not own an account....):
if you clicked the link and you are entering your credential, do yourself a favour, do a mistake in the account and password.. yes, a couple of wrong letter/numbers.
Many times the website will log you in regardless, at that point, they've registered your credential but it will not work, so keep your eyes wide open, if by magic you are getting logged into a phishing site with inexistent credential you are safe (better be safe than sorry anyway).
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offering a reward to retrieve my bitcoins on: October 26, 2017, 10:12:38 AM
Recently I opened up my Electrum wallet only to see that ALL my bitcoins have left my account! I can see a minus sign next to my bitcoins showing that they have left my wallet. The light on the bottom right is green and is fully synched. I have NO idea how this happened as I did not check my wallet for over 10 days and these coins disappeared 3 days ago. I have checked on blockchain.info and managed to find an address where my bitcoins have gone to. I believe that my system (Windows 7) has been compromised and someone has stolen my bitcoins. Please, if anyone can assist me in retrieving my bitcoins, I will offer a handsome reward. Thank you.

you can just check the transaction in the blockchain but transaction are irreversible and you most probably have your system infected by some keylogger/malware, if you want i can send you a pm with some instruction how to check your system if it's infected and by what.
Let me know.

347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brace yourself, Bitcoin Silver is coming! on: October 26, 2017, 09:30:39 AM
Fed up with such announcements. Whenever I logged in, there is a fresh announcement of new coin's ICOs and forking of the bitcoins. These activities are decreasing the credibility of the cryptocurrencies and many of these icos are proven scams. This needs to be stop as it is damaging the bitcoin community.

I completely agree with you but if you watch from the start of BTC it happened the same when community started to create altcoins, who remember the first ones coming out?
We all thought it was a very bad stuff for crypto and BTC credibility in general but now alts have a separated market.. although keep splitting is a stupid move for me, what's the point? In this way more and more people will laugh at BTC and it will end (is not gonna happen) but for sure this nth fork is a bad move for crypto and BTC credibility
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin, is this what we have been waiting for? on: October 26, 2017, 08:11:14 AM
with the service Amazon is offering and the customer support (the best i've ever had to deal with hands down), this would be an AMAZON-ezing (shame on me for the joke) news.
Screw all the paypal issues and slow processes, BTC would solve a lot of issue with payments, i really hope they'll go for that
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: October 25, 2017, 01:21:15 PM
you can't really ban BTC, it's very difficult and i'm pretty sure it some country would ban bitcoin we will always find a way to keep supporting this project.
Regulating? is not possible due to decentralisation, again they might find a way to regulate (to give them advantages, don't be fooled they'll regulate for you) but everything will stay the same anyway.
350  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken disappointment on: October 24, 2017, 07:56:22 AM
all in all they can do whatever they want, none is blaming them for this decision (well, some big investors now have their pitchforks ready), but for anything wouldn't have been a better decision for the people who trusted them to just announce "screw this new fork, we are not supporting it" with, i don't know, 1 week ahead? I know everything now revolve around money and they are not a charity company, but to keep some credibility and fairness within their customers it would have been a better choice.
Kraken is the first it came into my mind, but is not the only exchanger acting like this in the last couple of months.
351  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken disappointment on: October 24, 2017, 07:44:57 AM
Not surprised, there is gonna be a lot of fun regarding a lot of exchanges because of this fork, no one really wants to support BTG. I don't blame them. Always keep your btc in a wallet with your keys. Just makes things like this easier.

yep, i can understand both sides, none is forced to put some extra effort for the nth fork because that means time investment, resources and so on.
Reading around many exchangers are acting like this or even worse, at time this my question is: there is any exchanger who's acting like they rule this crypto world?
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be too big to fail? on: October 24, 2017, 07:41:15 AM
the statement "too big to fail" it's a funny one because we all saw what happened to centralized company which were too big to fail, for BTC it's a different story, there is no Headquarter, now offices all around the globe, everything is in the network owned by anybody.
Can BTC fail? yes of course, it always depends on the community behind, if everyone would stop caring/trading/buying BTC everything will fall apart but the idea behind started a new era, there will always be somebody who will invent a new way to use the blockchain for different purposes.. and like the history teaches us, you cannot kill an idea.
353  Economy / Exchanges / Kraken disappointment on: October 24, 2017, 07:35:26 AM
Hello folks,
i would like to discuss with you this news from Kraken exchanger:

They posted 16h ago a twit stating they would NOT support BTC gold, then they changed their mind with another twit and then destroyed the plans of tons of people who deposited their BTC to them.
I've been using kraken for long time and it always seemed reliable, stable, with a good volume of transaction for BTC and altcoins, now they came out with this amazingly... stupid statement.
People now are going crazy and i guess in the next couple of hours many investors will move out of this exchanger for another one.
Right, it's not the end of the world for me because i had just some dust in there but this is not acceptable anymore (at least for me) and the statement "we might reconsider it later" it smell fishy, very fishy.
At this point i would like to ditch this exchanger and find a new one with some good volume of transaction to do some trading (keep in mind i don't own much), any advice will be appreciated!

358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble that is just waiting to pop? 6000/8000!! really? on: October 23, 2017, 07:50:22 AM
BTC are subject to bubbles like we all noticed in the last few years, but the bet part of it is the raise right after; after the drop it's the right time to invest, just dont be scared of this drop, keep holding, invest during the drop and wait at the window for the new rise Smiley We might see a new top for BTC
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think ? Bitcoin is going to hit big value soon like 7000$ and more ? on: October 22, 2017, 02:16:52 PM
there's a chance for BTC to reach 7000$ before the end of 2017 but i guess (just speculating) the incoming fork with face a drop.
As we saw this year it will recovery quite fast, nothing to be worried about but i don't think it will reach 7k this year.
