my father (80 years old) asked me about bitcoin but i wouldn't take responsibility to others money, especially family.. to earn from bitcoin you have to keep your eyes open and check it on a daily basis but good luck and finger crossed for us and your grandmother

Bitcoin as a wedding gift is alright as long as the person who receive it know what it is and how to use it. I mean it's not different than giving money as a gift. If someone to give me bitcoin as a wedding gift I'll gladly accept it.
i agree with this, otherwise your gift, for him, wouldn't have the same value as we decided.. bettr to give money/stuff in this case

my main concern for this fork (like the others) are exchanger who will support it as soon as it happen.. other than that i guess everyone's at the window wataching and waiting..

I wouldn't. It's like selling your family member for 100,000$. My dog is also part of my family.
Of course be practical sell it for 100k usd and buy 10 more dogs and build a house for your dogs nyhahahhaha this is not like it works.. if you love your pet (dog, cat, whatever) there is no way you can replace him with "10 more dogs lol!!11!", so for me its a big no even if the offer is kind of life changing, for me it's like being asked if i want to sell any member of my family

this will never happen, money are way too important in terms of politics, economy and lifestyle.. crypto might become a side currencies but there is no way crypto will replace money in the next century

if you still have interest in cryptocurrencies (as you shown by opening this topic) you should just forget the past and learn from your mistakes, here in my office we have the motto: fail fast, fail often, learn from mistakes and move forward. We are embracing the Agile philosophy and trust me, it works in crypto world too, so keep your head up and keep going! Best of luck!

I believe it's way better to buy couple of different ones instead of sticking only with BTC. We know BTC is the safest investment for long term but if you want to make profit you should know how to play with alt coins. The real profit is there.
and the hardest part is to figure how which altcoin might be profitable and which not (besides the scam coins around).

banning completely it's impossible, i mean banning something which doesn't exist.. the only way to destroy completely all the crypto currencies is to shut down internet or electricity in the whole world.. no way it's gonna happen
if you don't have enough time to invest in research in new coins, ico and stuff like that, buy low sell high (if you have some dust/coin to start with of course).
i've heard about bitcoin the only long period away from home/pc.. i'm very interested in this kind of technology, for sure now i would have a lot of coins instead of some dust.
we have to differenciate between bitcoin/altcoins and the idea behind, coins might or might not die but the idea behind can be applied to many different things. The blockchain, and crypto coins are an idea which will hardly die, people will keep using it, searching new technologies to apply it

so are we going to see another price drop of bitcoin? if so that's good What good is it? The value of any currency is its stability. Such a roller coaster ride only benefit the whales. You're a whale? I doubt it. When you buy at a low price bitcoin this means that someone in this moment lost their money. Then this someone will be you. i am not a whale, definitely not, but you can say the same for any non virtual currency even for gold; it's your problem if you are trading, you accepted the risk as soon as you deposited your money. Yes, i totally agree with you about the last part, if i have invested in this currency to trade, i have accepted the risks

Most of us have a daily responsibilities. How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?
every now and then i check my account on the exchanger to see if there are some news, luckily at work i'm not 100% (and i guess most of us) busy, i just balance busy period with some free time.. instead checking facebook i check my wallet
